If you are riding all by yourself, you must never leave your expensive eMTB outside the shop like that, even with a lock on it. But in this video, Chris obviously had a support crew with him who were watching the bike while he was inside the chip shop.
@@andrewgent5675 😂😂 Precisely. It's much cheaper and more convenient though just to ride with a friend so you can take turns watching the bikes while one of you goes into the shops etc. Or you could just stop in places where there are catering trailers, like I do, where you simply buy your food with your bike right next to you.
When doing these BRILL vids, I wish you would show some difficult bits. Unless the footpath from the carpark at the end of Glen Nevis to the Steal waterfall has been radially improved. It can be difficult for the average walkers, never mind getting a bike up there. There was a big warning sign for walkers, that starts with the words " Danger of Death"
Somehow I think Steve pulled the short straw on that one !...It would be great if Bosch did an adapter to use the Nyon in the Kiox mount. It seems a bit vulnerable and probably unnessary for a lot of trail riding but great for unknown days out.
Chris is thorough with his bikes and always makes sure to fully clean, protect and lube after a big ride like this. In this case, we would also have our mechanic give it a good going over. We wouldn't really recommend you go do that, and certainly don't do it if you're going to just chuck the bike in the shed as some people do!
Great video but I would've preferred to join Steve on his big day out. The fish n chips post ride would've tasted 10x better. Glad to see you riding Cube bikes on the show. Mines brilliant .
It's a new Cube Stereo model? As far as last year, i remember seeing only 160 front fork fox, at Max. You mentioned 170mm in the clip, that's why i am asking. Thank's, thumbs up for the adventure!!
Great videos, thanks lads. Got my 160 AT hpc a few months ago and absolutely love it. Brilliant on the tracks, thinking off changing it to a mullet as I do a good chunk of road miles to get there for a session.
Fort William most certainly does not have white sandy beaches... It does have rocky, pebbled shore lines of Loch Lihnne... You certainly wouldn't want to spend time there... You have to travel quite a distance West (nowhere near Fort William) to Arisaig and Morar where you will find white sandy beaches.. Next he definitely used transport to get between these locations.. Best concentrate on one area for one day and the Fort William area on another day. The path up to Steall Glen is most definitely not suited to MTB - firstly it is very narrow and rocky in places and secondly there are too many walkers so you just can't cycle. Also take midge repellent if you plan to do any forest area between Late May-Early October

I'd be a bit worried on the trails with that screen sticking out front I just have basic screen and garmin so don't know if it would be worth upgrading display
Hello, during this type of trip, how was the relationship between hikers, tourists and you as a biker ? same places for both... it's seem due to increasing ebike rides to be strained relationships :O((
You do know that PROW are different in Scotland?? On open land, you have the right to roam, But you must do it with Responsibility. If you don't then you have no right of access. It's giving way to walkers and horse riders. And be prepared to stop.
@@protarget1 Well, i don't know the signification of PROW (priority of walker ?). Any way I'me an Ebike biker since 5 years, actually I feel some changes in relationship between others users due certainly to the encreasing number of bikers. Sorry for mistakes and misunstanding, English is not my language...
@@lucienbenoitlacombe1073 Sorry about not being clear. PROW stands for Public Rights of Way. In Scotland you can ride anywhere in open countryside, (in skiing terms off piste). that includes footpaths. The only restrictions on the hills, which btw is for everyone's safety, is when Deer Stalking ( Culling ) is in progress
What type of riding are you into? Big tough epic rides or more relaxed days taking in the scenery? Let us know 👇
both! Absolutely beasting it one day, bagging some mountain summits, and then cruising to work and taking it easy the next day
@@sionjones1675 Sounds like the perfect combo Sion!
Got to have a bit of death in a ride
super my favourite ebike is in EMTB thanks..iam cube fans
The Cube suspension bikes are sure good looking bikes and price wise... fantastic!.
Definitely
I just got my Cube Ebike ordaed in match arrived July just the hardtail as only one can afford amazing bike all ready done 280 miles
Glad to see that bike theft isn't an issue in Fort William.
LOL :-)
That was in Mallaig not Fort William.

@@chillout1109 So perhaps instead of investing in expensive locks, we should consider hiring a camera crew to take care of bike security.

Don't know about anyone else but I start a big ride by rolling a big fat one. Big toot before a big ride.
Epic brotha!!…Scotland is such a wonderful place to explore. Great content guys.
Great video, it really showed the versatility of an emtb
Fantastic thanks for the footage my friend 😁👍
Love Scotland, fantastic footage guys,,,, 😁👍
Q: Which is the best EMTB to take on a beach?
A: Someone else's
I think that's what Fat Bike's were designed for ? mainly Beaches & Snow ;-)
I was thinking the same thing, sand in the chain, would need a clean after
Riding an ebike on the beach, defo not your own money in it then 😂

Missing out the part where the bike gets stolen for leaving it outside the Tea place ;)
well done
Brilliant I Really enjoyed the show today my friends 😀 💙👍🏾
Thank, Rory!
All kind of riding is me😁👍🇬🇧👌💕
That’s my idea of a holiday ride.
I'd be careful with that gondola my levo nearly fell off!
At 0:08 you've reversed the Lat-Long. As currently stated Fort William would be south of the equator :-)
I live in Sydney Australia and because we are in lockdown my trips are local exploring but when/if this lockdown ends.......

Stereo 160 refers to rear travel. All 2021 160's have 170mm fork.
Great vid and some cool editing. Great music as well. However, the scenery stole the show!
🙌 Awesome to hear you liked the video Kyle!

You got Latitude and Longitude the wrong way round, yes I am that nerd
Hi Chris, if you had to choose between the levo comp or the cube stereo which one would you take? And why??
Your Bosch display found you the worst chippy in and around Fort Bill. 😂
I wonder if you would have preferred the husgavana?
What a great day out. How many miles did you do that day?

Yep screen looked quite shit.
Noooo! Not the sand 😐
That beach looked beautiful that is until a hooligan arrived on an E bike.
What price u talking for the bosch bike..?
£5500 ish
Great video
As usual, quick question do
Shimano have a display like this or any 3rd party that uses the same functions ?
does the Bosch sat nav work on other makes of emtbs ?
No disrespect Jones, but I liked Chris' BIG adventure⚡ more than yours!
