I was so confused walking down the road from my house to Bethesda and seeing what I thought was Blake and Neil zooming passed on Eeb's - thought I was going mad - clearly not - what an adventure!
I am from the US, and I absolutely love your epic adventures. Getting to see the countryside of the UK is absolutely amazing. Thank you for making these videos, they are inspiring to watch. You guys make a great team, and the photography was great! I could watch that video over and over again.
Going to ride part of the ickneild & pedders way. A couple of days with a beach camp at the end. I don't like hills. The head is willing the legs not so much
plan is to trailblaze a 150-250km high route around jotunheimen, the highest peaks in scandinavia, never been done before so lets see how it turns out. full power EMTB with 2x batteries
Blake and Neil thanks so much for sharing such an epic adventure with us all. What a huge ride in super tough weather conditions. So good guys.Love the new edition Canyon e bike.
I know the guys love their riding but i have to give credit to the people behind the cameras and the people behind the screens editing these footages , they are just as important to the channel that we all love! hope this comment makes it to you boys and girls!
...you got that straight. As wonderful and inspiring as these vids are, we have them because of everyone involved at GMBN. Thanks to ALL the folks behind epic vids like these for common people!
These are the best type of videos to get you in the mood for an adventure. You guys should ride the canal from Newport all the way to brecon beacons it's a beautiful ride.
GMBN videos have gotten loads better of late. More longer form adventure based content for the win! Proper mountain biking. I’ve just booked a three day holiday in Aosta valley Italy for later this year. Chomping for some big mountain with my mates.
Loved this epic adventure ride. Great mates getting out of town. Full credit to the film crew and their attempt to start a new genre of wild van adventures! Cheers from NZ.
Another outstanding video. Blake and Neil make a great team. As I’m not in a position to ride at the moment and I miss it a lot, your videos help a great deal. Keep it up GMBN, I’m looking forward to the next one.
Sure looks like a better trip during warmer weather for sure....Stevie doing the narration! Thanks boys....I really admire your efforts in the in climate weather....Canyon is surely keeping up with the latest trends in eBiking! Thanks again!
Loved this video, this is what MTB is about and shows the EMTB off to its most........i love my Alltm CF12 and have always love EMTB they take you to new adventures daily for people like me that are not as fit lets us enjoy the pleasure of MTBing. great video all. More like this please.
Thanks guy, I love watching your ride adventures. Blake and Neil together is gold, great chemistry. Didn't Rich do this same route in reverse on another vid?
I thought we'd had a lot of rain when we rode the route, but you guys seem to have outdone us! It's a great route, brutal and rewarding in equal measure. 10/10 would recommend.
"It really is a true mountain bikers' paradise, offering thrilling trails, breathtaking landscapes, and a perfect blend of nature and adventure. Whether you're an experienced rider seeking a challenge or just out to enjoy the ride, this place promises unforgettable experiences on two wheels."
Loved this video, thanks guys! Hope you do more like this around the UK! Makes me a bit homesick, and also makes me want to consider an E-bike now..... Damn you 😛😛😛
Love this kind of content. As long as we're living vicariously, it'd be nice to see what transpires and what's consumed at the pub at the end of the day.
I love bike rides like this with a friend it really brings the best out in you really shows your human side of teamwork and friendship emotions can get on top aswell ebikes are amazing for this!
So three to four days with an ebike, how long on a normal mountain bike ? Four / five?? Gets the juices flowing watching these . I do love these videos!
Nice journey guys. Another for your tick list thats highly recommened would be the Badger Divide from Glasgow to Inverness or the reverse of it. Take you through some the most stunning scenery in the UK. Similarly would be Glasgow to Inverness along West Highland way into fort William then along the great glen way into Inverness.
great video guys although there was a much more fun route to be had once you where near bethesda, stretches from llanllechid over towards foel fras, dropping down to drum taking a right at the bottom making your way over to tal y fan then either take a right past an acient church down the pilgrims route dropping into the town of Rowen or from tal y fan continue on old roman road which has an awesome descent towards sycnant pass crossing the road to head over the top of the conwy mountain dropping down another awesome descent onto the road for 5 mins which leads to the harbour in conwy (shown in your video)
Great Video but the Video ended in Conwy, not Llandudno Junction as claimed and if you didn't go on to Llandudno, you missed a treat. Riding up and around The Great Orme is amazing. Never the less love this video and thank you.
Love it. The Canyon SL looks so good! The only downside of my Heckler SL is there is no range extender (yet).. These kinds of trips look amazingly fun.. Would def be a logistical nightmare though without support... Anything that can happen probably will lol.
Nice work lads, this route is going to get a reputation though. It was sleet for the second day of my official Cycling UK guide ride video, couldn't feel my legs from Betws to Conwy on the second day 🥶
I definitely wanna see more of adventures with a bunch more bags on the bikes ;) Just a shame you cant get "the bundle of joy" Martyn to tag along... I have a few overnighters planned in my local area, nothing fancy though.
'Click it up a support level' NO NEIL, this is GMBN, if you're gonna use ebikes, you stay your arse in eco! (JK). That being said amazing effort, lads - looks amazing.
Love these adventure videos guys, looks like a great bike 🤤 I’m waiting to see if the new Orbea Rise is any better, just a few days to wait. I’d ride that route closer to summer though 😂 It’s a shame how exposed a lot of the trail is, too many sheep and not enough trees. Lots of on road too.
I got excited when you guys said it was around 16kgs. I have looked at the new pages on Canyons' site and it is 19.9kgs listed weight and the cheaper models 20.9 kgs. Quite a big discrepancy. Anyway it is all moot for me as Canyon don't seem to be listing them for sale in Australia. Austria maybe, but Australia - not.
The boys could really have benefitted from those cheap plastic fenders that clip into the seat rails. Easy to move from bike to bike for different shoots too... (Also, great video! Thanks team.)
...and even more from proper long mudguards. Maybe an idea for the next epic & wet adventure: one rides with mudguards, and the other with wet a55 and muddy face. Which is better?!
@@SkiSurfBike That's what I thought, a couple of plastic mudguards on the seatpost and downtube would have stopped them becoming completely lathered in crap.
Loved the video. I was wondering how you utilised your battery use for such a long challenge. Surely you had to have planned stops for charging the bikes.
Fantastic ride guys, and with the elements being so unpredictable clothing is a major factor. What are the best waterproof jackets and trousers on the market and what about quality 'budget' items? Are the GMBN trousers waterproof? I was dubious!
Wonderful, All stops can be accessed via trains stations only Dolgellau that has no direct train station but you can get to Barmouth and use the Mawddach trail to get on route this would be the best option if going alone without a van and crew.
I'm doing this in July this year on my Nukeproof Scout. As part of a supported group ride. Have to say I'm nervous/excited in equal measures. Hope we get better weather than Neil & Blake had. 😀
@martynwheeler3061 I did the ride in May. Took us 4 days and apart from a biblical rainstorm on the first day, the weather was glorious, with the final day a bit too hot lol.
Want to find out even more about Canyon's new bike? Click here: ua-cam.com/video/up0s7mS54xc/v-deo.html
I don't care about e mtb's next how much did Canyon pay you for this marketing content?
Are you guys getting Canyon's new sell out for their electrical garbage? No real biker takes you serious any more.
pls, keep electric motorcycles on spearate channel.
I was so confused walking down the road from my house to Bethesda and seeing what I thought was Blake and Neil zooming passed on Eeb's - thought I was going mad - clearly not - what an adventure!
Sorry we couldn't stop and say hi 👋
Hahaha that was us
Nice part of the world 👍

I live on the edge of Snowdonia, never get bored, absolutely gob smacking beauty.
cheers, North Wales is an amazing part of the world
Love these epic rides with Neil and Blake, fantastic.
Do you have any adventures planned for this year? Let us know 👇
Going to ride part of the ickneild & pedders way.
I'm getting san quentin 1 2024 tomorrow and looking forward to getting out and seeing the world. Rather than watching vids about getting out
Blake and Neil thanks so much for sharing such an epic adventure with us all. What a huge ride in super tough weather conditions. So good guys.Love the new edition Canyon e bike.
Thanks for watching! The whole team (and bikes) powered through it 🤙
What time of year was this filmed not the best conditions but well done for getting through it 👍👍@@gmbn
This was filmed about a week ago 👍
I know the guys love their riding but i have to give credit to the people behind the cameras and the people behind the screens editing these footages , they are just as important to the channel that we all love! hope this comment makes it to you boys and girls!
...you got that straight. As wonderful and inspiring as these vids are, we have them because of everyone involved at GMBN. Thanks to ALL the folks behind epic vids like these for common people!
yeah yeah, they get to sit in a dry van all day 😂
These are the best type of videos to get you in the mood for an adventure. You guys should ride the canal from Newport all the way to brecon beacons it's a beautiful ride.
Thanks, need to explore the Brecon Beacons a bit
This is on my doorstep. It really is a true mountain bikers paradise.
Awesome film as always team, keep up the good work!
This series would make for an excellent Netflix show. The production quality is so so good, love Neil and Blake too.
Did this at the same time as the GMBN guys and saw them at Coed-y-Brenin. The weather was rough - all credit for doing it in three days.
Wow! Great footage of a great ride! Thanks to Neil, Blake and camera crew.
GMBN videos have gotten loads better of late. More longer form adventure based content for the win! Proper mountain biking.
I’ve just booked a three day holiday in Aosta valley Italy for later this year. Chomping for some big mountain with my mates.
Sounds like a great holiday, enjoy! 🤘

Another outstanding video. Blake and Neil make a great team. As I’m not in a position to ride at the moment and I miss it a lot, your videos help a great deal. Keep it up GMBN, I’m looking forward to the next one.
Cheers, hope you get back on it soon
Adventure route videos like this are great. Back to the basics of the old school MTB scene.
I couldn't agree more. It's nice to see them ridden off road rather than trails and jumps etc
I agree except they are not on mountain bikes.
Sure looks like a better trip during warmer weather for sure....Stevie doing the narration! Thanks boys....I really admire your efforts in the in climate weather....Canyon is surely keeping up with the latest trends in eBiking! Thanks again!
As someone who loves bikepacking myself, I love to see the vibe between you two
Loved this video, this is what MTB is about and shows the EMTB off to its most........i love my Alltm CF12 and have always love EMTB they take you to new adventures daily for people like me that are not as fit lets us enjoy the pleasure of MTBing. great video all. More like this please.
Really liked this episode. Well done lads.
Thanks guy, I love watching your ride adventures. Blake and Neil together is gold, great chemistry. Didn't Rich do this same route in reverse on another vid?
Thanks, yeah i realised that as we were on it, I think he must have ridden some of the Sarn Helen route
Love these epic ride vids. Thx again!
I thought we'd had a lot of rain when we rode the route, but you guys seem to have outdone us! It's a great route, brutal and rewarding in equal measure. 10/10 would recommend.
Loved your videos, that adventure trip with beautiful scenery was awesome to watch!!
"It really is a true mountain bikers' paradise, offering thrilling trails, breathtaking landscapes, and a perfect blend of nature and adventure. Whether you're an experienced rider seeking a challenge or just out to enjoy the ride, this place promises unforgettable experiences on two wheels."
Awesome ride. I walked that locale in my younger days. I'd love to ride that trail! More of this, please!
The DREAM!! WOW... That looks awesome
Epic looking ride, boys! Like the idea of Jonesy narrating.
Blake and Neil might have struggled with some of the pronunciation’s!
Great video boys, the riding ones are my favourite by far
We just cycled this the other weekend on a hardtail. Fantastic trail!
Loved this video, thanks guys! Hope you do more like this around the UK! Makes me a bit homesick, and also makes me want to consider an E-bike now..... Damn you 😛😛😛
"700 year old puddle" is the most british/welsh thing I've ever heard

This looks absolutely amazing!
never say you are tired on an E bike! love the video great routes 🙌
Absolutely awesome. I will get Neuron On:Fly 8 under Christmas tree and I can't wait for my first ride. Thanks from Czech Republic✊✊🇨🇿👍
Hope you enjoy it!
Really enjoy to watch you guys on those amazing trips! Thanks from Canada!

Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮. This video is awesome, made me want to go for epic adventure. Thanks for the quality content as always.
Greetings! Thank you, where would you go for the epic ride? 🤔
@@gmbn i have been thinking about going to Switzerland , it looks epic. Maybe a road trip in my van. Thro the bikes in the back and hit the road.

the animals at the start is the best bit
the baby lambs this time of year!
They're called sheep.

That was an epic ride indeed ! Greetings from Switzerland.
Fair play! Weather looked brutal!!!

Wait… @4:52 - where did that comfy snack-van come from!?😅 Honestly, it’s nice to see these young bucks aging gracefully!
Excellent adventure. Great watch keep up the great content
Great video more of these please 👏👏👏
Please do more of these!!!!!!!
Love this UK adventure video especially with Neil and Blake! Blake is totally Americanized with "starbucks?!"! 😂
Did you run out of battery on day 2?
Looks so fun. Great vid thx
Great content guys, beautiful welsh summer weather this boys. Great bike packing adventure on gravel bikes.
Epic video guys, amazing place to ride.
Double thumbs up guys, great job!
Yes, epic rides are possible even on emtbs 🤙
Great Video but the Video ended in Conwy, not Llandudno Junction as claimed and if you didn't go on to Llandudno, you missed a treat. Riding up and around The Great Orme is amazing. Never the less love this video and thank you.
Really appreciate the effort of pronouncing and using welsh names! great work
Well Done Guys Loved the video sorry you got so wet and cold .Hope to see you at Fort William next weekend .
Really enjoyed that episode
Thanks for watching!
@@gmbn I've an EMTB was on the emtb channel last week in cool places we have some epic rides like on your video today here in Ireland
Great video lads. Thoroughly enjoyed it. EMBN or GMBN who cares. I watch both channels anyway!!
Great vid guys E-bikes = adventure .Wish E-bikes were a thing when I was stationed overseas would have loved to ride those trails.
Great video, guys. You two make a good team, would love to see you do a trip like that in the states, preferably somewhere in the west.
Love it. The Canyon SL looks so good! The only downside of my Heckler SL is there is no range extender (yet).. These kinds of trips look amazingly fun.. Would def be a logistical nightmare though without support... Anything that can happen probably will lol.

Cheers Guy, we only had that window of 3 days to do the ride so missed the best of the views, type 2 fun I suppose
What a ride ! Well done guy's we're hoping to do this trail before Malvern classic 😊😊😊
THANKS LADS BRILLIANT that is my favourite part of the world Snowdonia !!
Could this route be done on non electric hard tails or gravel bikes with thicker tyres?
Yes, for sure. It's not very technical, whereas on the Trans Cambrian, much more off road / gravelly. 👍
People do this route on HT and FS MTBs as well as gravel bikes, emtbs are not essential regardless what the industry tells you.
Well done, great film, and shout out to Steve Jones, the bard of embn
I definitely wanna see more of adventures with a bunch more bags on the bikes ;) Just a shame you cant get "the bundle of joy" Martyn to tag along...

I was eyeing this route up only the other day, I wanna do north to South Wales one day awesome video
That would be an epic ride!
Looks a top ride lads. Are there plenty of accommodation options on thd route for charging?
Live and ride in North Wales. Pretty standard conditions. Great film.
