- Danny MacAskill is a household name in mountain biking and one that many people only recognise as a freestyle street trials rider. But what does he actually ride on a daily basis? In recent years Danny has been riding a lot more natural mountain bike terrain, even choosing to relocate to a small rural village in Scotland. Steve Jones catches up with him for an epic ride!

I absolutely love this presenter and channel, so much epic content. He seems so genuine and relatable. I like how the channel seems to just celebrate being out on a bike and having fun and doesn't get to bogged down in the technical stuff that distracts us from why we all love it in the first place.

Growing up back in the 70's.... I spent all my summers up in them Torridon mountains... We used to rent a static caravan in Wester Alligin... never had such things as eMTB's back then, infact, never really had MTB's... Spent my long summers hiking and fishing. This has me in the mood to return to my childhood haunts, but with my bikes...I always wanted to live up there!maybe I'll retire there! loved this video!!

For anti e mtn bike trollers, send them this video. If Danny can smile like this, so will thousands of new e mtn bike riders. I got my money's worth at 4:21 when Steve dumped it in the creek, real world riding at its best.
Someone did and it just furthers my already solid opinion. The vast majority of emtb'ers are dogshit riders and 99% need the motor just to get up the climbs. Seems to be a trend with 35-50 year old blokes, all on £7500+ full sus e bikes getting dusted by 10 year olds on a kona hardtail.
Still can't believe i bumped into you guys in the work van! Defo need to hit the trails up this way!
I have an original Heckler and I agree wholeheartedly with Danny, over the last 2 yrs I have been in more epic 10/10 rides/days than ever before. Opens up nearly limitless opportunities to explore new horizons and landscapes.

Steve is no slouch on a bike and to go on a ride with Danny and see what he can do must be awesome. I would have to say it like this, "There's people who ride bikes well, there are people who are expert riders and then there's a select few who seem like magicians and Danny MacAskill is their leader."

I am 100% certain that any bike Danny was riding WOULD break longgggg before he ever would. The guy simply looks at the world differently than most hoomans do, and rides them accordingly.
Both are great riders but Danny is just the goat of bikes . I’ve never seen anyone who’s as good as him
