I saw this along with Zombi outside in a downtown park in Austin, TX. Robert Rodriguez put together the screening and talk to everyone about both movies beforehand, then sat down with us and watched both.
They don't make them like this anymore and probably never will again. But I love this era for thriller, suspense, horror, etc. Gotta' love the 70's. Great review! You've sold me on Torso. 👍

Great review and nice to see an older movie being covered for a change. Torso is, of course, the US Joseph Brenner Associates retitle (they also released Umberto Lenzi's Eyeball and Armando Crispino's Autopsy - they obviously liked one-word titles). In fact for most of the film it seems like she's the main character. So I don't know what the hell they were thinking.
Spoilers, why wasn't Tina Aumont the heroine in this movie? It felt like she was going to be and then Suzy Kendall took over. And Tina doesn't take her clothes off, she's killed but we don't get to see it. I don't know if she went into the film saying, "Look, I'm keeping my clothes on.
