I heard someone say it may be worth picking aldor as a caster DPS for the enchants because the hit trinket from scryers would be replaced quick anyway. Like bruh, if you're exalted with the Zandalar tribe (I would if you're not) the enchants you can get with honor tokens is like the Naxx enchants, almost zero stat improvement.
I'd definitely chose the Scryer because they have imposing buildings and clean red carpets while the Aldor only has shacks and hovels. (Alliance player.)
You forgot Hunter in your final list? I've heard mix reports, while AP slightly more damage, the crit is good for Hunter procs anyway. (shoulder enchants that is)

Another thing to consider is the recipes crafting needs to increase professions to 375. For instance I may be a melee dps but scryer offers an infinetly cheaper road to 375 weaponsmithing than aldor which requires an extensive amount of primlas.

I’m not sure why you think the talents change anything in your favour… 1.) “Anticipation” provides +20 Defence Skill which in turn provides 0.80% increase to your Block, Dodge, Parry and Miss (Most notably your Dodge right now) in addition to increasing their base Defence Skill 2.) “Feral Swiftness” increases a Druid’s dodge chance by 4% which doesn’t “scale” the same way as a Paladin’s “Combat Expertise” and “Sacred Duty”

honestly.... from what i remember.... scryer was spell dps, aldor was healer at the start then they changed enchants/rep items halfway through in order to essentially make it so that neither rep really gave a benefit over the other for any spec... bcuz i pretty much remember every caster dps going scryer

I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “late-game value of dodge,” but at the end of the day, “Vindicator’s Hauberk” actually provides less overall mitigation than “Jade-Skull Breastplate.” The conversion of block rating to block chance is 7.88 = 1% while the dodge rating conversion is 18.92 = 1%. “Jade-Skull Breastplate” - Total Mitigation = Approximately 23.18% “Vindicator’s Hauberk” - Total Mitigation = Approximately 22.69% At the end of the day, block rating is always the better choice for stats since Holy Shield is one our main abilities to generate threat and it requires a blocked attack to proc.
great video! only thing i can speak differently about is feral druid tank should go scryers, only due to the def/dodge instead of the dodge/def from aldor. slightly more def allows for easier def cap for uncrittable, and allows the opportunity to swap out some higher def gear for more dodge/hit, making u even more of a beast :p (pun intended). but it's a toss up to personal playstyle and gear at the moments of use.
personally i think the nax enchant is better for feral druids. Plus aldor have so many good pre-raid rewards for druid tank especially from group quest rewards.
Given stat weights, Survival Hunters should absolutely go Scryer over Aldor 100% of the time for the additional crit rating. It makes that much of a difference.

There's a hit cap. Anything beyond 76 hit doesn't help you and you can get your hit from elsewhere.

You should go Aldor as Paladin - forget about initial difference, when phase 5 would be available Aldor gives items with SPD and you want them.

It does matter. You can survive jumping off the scryer elevator, but not the aldor, so scryer is the best
