Oh Angela this looks like another Kingston gem from you! I well remember really liking two other Kingston videos from you and really looking forward to watching this one which I see is almost an hour long! Perfect, as I am about to go on the stationary bike for an hour. You must be psychic! Anyhow, hope all is well with you and I will get ready for my bike workout and viewing. Talk soon!
Hello Angela Lovely video. Took us two days to finish it. Such a nice area. It is hot hot here right now just like it was the day you filmed this. Happy birthday. Take care Chris and Sandra of Canada.
Yes, it's a bit of an old-style long video, now I've tried to do shorter ones (less stress on me AND the viewers!). The heat has returned here too, mid-20s in mid-October is very unusual. Thank you for the birthday wishes:) Angela
Great video Angela and even more lovely than I was expecting! As per your previous Kingston riverside walk, various parts of it reminded me of certain areas back in the Pacific Northwest that I'm very familiar with. For example, look up: 1. Steveston & Shady Island BC (British Columbia) 2. Alki Beach cafes (it's in West Seattle USA & featured in Sleepless in Seattle) 3. Green Lake, North Seattle Either way, this area you filmed is definitely on our to do list. I also learned some new things from you this time around. I also recall on a previous visit to Hampton Court, after getting back in the car to return to Canterbury, I asked my mum if she'd like to stop off in Kingston "because from Angela's video, it looks like a really nice place to explore ". But I think we were both just too tired to explore further on that occasion. But definitely in the future.. and hopefully on a Kingston Market day. We were at Hampton Court very recently and I saw the river there from the edge of the palace grounds and though of you actually. Thank you so much for this. It's a beautiful area.
Thank you Ibrahim, I love those suggestions. I sometimes feel a really strong connection with Canada and the Pacific Northwest, no idea why - perhaps it's watching too much Frasier! We're waiting for the reboot to become available on Paramount+ and are praying it doesn't go badly, these things are rather high risk IMHO. Kingston Market is usually up and running, a little less on a Sunday. And yes, I've walked from Hampton Court to Kingston, once after a whole day at the Flower Show which left my legs rather complaining! All the best, Angela
At around 9:41 re "Wave to everyone on the boat". I would have loved to have been on that boat, waving a Canadian flag back to you. I'm pretty sure you would have thought " Hey, that must be Ibrahim!" 🇨🇦
Thank you! I was there twice - Kingston is to beautiful!
Glad you liked it:) Angela
That’s lovely to see. I grew up there. Not been back for 30 years 😊
So glad I could do it justice for you:) All the best, Angela
Lovely walk…I so enjoyed every moment and your friendly commentary!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words:) All the best, Angela
