The musical, which features a book by George Furth and music and lyrics by Sondheim, focuses on three friends and their musical ambitions. Colin- so dapper. Celia- so sweet. Lin- so adorkable. AWESOME CAST.
I haven’t seen that word in ages! Completely agree
I love that Colin Donnell (at least from this angle) looks more than a bit like a youthful Stephen J. Sondheim. I've adored Mr. Miranda and Miss Keenan-Bolger for awhile now, and am glad to be introduced to Mr. Donnell. Wish I coulda seen this.
Lin-Manuel though. He's precious.
deep in the Lin fandom right now
I´m feeling things with Lin in glasses
Ik this is 3 yrs later but what the flip
lin sure looks like a teenager without the beard.
this song just makes me so feel happy. it reminds me classic Broadway
LIN IM SCREAMING. HE LOOKS LIKE MARK COHEN IN THIS I CA N N O T.
Three cutie pies who sing beautifully! I love it!
So much talent in one video! I admit that when I heard some of the songs, I thought that Lin-Manuel Miranda sounds a bit like Anthony Rapp
I've listened to this song over thirty times since I saw my college do this. I think I'm addicted to this song
They’re all so adorable and beautiful I don’t know who to focus on my eyes have never moved to fast
That harmony at the end is unbelievably challenging! I can't wait for the recording to come out!
Ugh, I love their voices. So musical in timbre.
Omg I'm 7years late but that's fine this cast is amazing now they have all come so far Lin wrote tha freaking musical of the decade!!!
CANNOT BE UNSEEN. You're so right!
One of my favourite Sondheim shows. Wish it was coming back to London!
Saw the show and got it stuck in my head. Was very happy to see it online and I could listen to one of the songs over and over again lol
I've listened to this 10 times...I can't stop...
Now I’m seeing a Hamilton ad on Disney+ before this video phew congrats Lin you made it
Words cannot begin to describe how much I love this video.
Look it up, Hamilton was wearing his glasses.
Why!? If NOT TO TAKE DEADLY AIM!!? IT'S HIM OR ME, THE WORLD WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!!
Colin has always been terrific with Sondheim. In high school he was an awesome Cinderella's prince. Cute and so funny.
Cool! This is a difficult show with a great score. I love hearing it again.
I always come back to this rehearsal video, the song is so good
love never dies was 100% inspired by this
my best friend from high school who also loved sondheim moved away. we're not friends anymore. watching this feels bittersweet
Love it
I cannot believe theyre getting a recording! Can't wait!
Wow did not know Lin Manuel Miranda played Charlie. He sounded like Anthony Rapp on the recording
There’s a recording of this?
Wow, I didn't know Tommy Merlyn could sing! Nice, gotta love a bit of Sondheim!
Danish Nerdess Check out John Barrowman who played the elder Merlyn. Also a London West End and Broadway musical guy.
Oh, believe me - I know John Barrowman! *shakes fist* BARROWMAN!!! I first knew of him in Doctor Who and Torchwood. Talented guy!
Also, have you seen Barrowman in Putting it Together? It's a review-like show of some of Sondheim's greatest songs in a way that makes it almost a play in itself. Also stars Carol Burnett, George Hearn (one of my favorite Broadway actors and my favorite Sweeney Todd) and Ruthie Henshall. It's on DVD and def worth a purchase!
Never thought I’d see Hamilton and Tommy Merlyn in the same place
I didn’t know Lin wore glasses. He’s so cute 🤓
My loves...
Celia 😍😍😍
Lin ❤❤
This old Granny is a big fan of Colin. 🤗
Colin Donnell's hair
Why does Lin look like John Green
30-something year old man wearing glasses, plaid over a graphic t-shirt, the facial hair, etc. I see it too. LOL
that kid Lin-Manuel Miranda got something going on, better keep an eye on him lol
Get the original Broadway cast recording--it's great! Sounds like the recording of this Encores version will be too.
Only just found out that Colin Donnell sings before Arrow. Upsets me that he is not doing it anymore...:(
did not know Lin was in this. I may not like Hamilton, but damn I love him
Anyone know when the cast recording's meant to be coming out??
This song kills me, the gals voice makes the whole song! Saw this show last week, weak script but amazing score!

It's also on Apple music
Ya think Anyone Can Whistle was a flop?
Try Merrily We Roll Along, but it produces 2 great songs,
Old Friends and Not A Day Goes By....!!!!
Is it just me, or does Lin-Manuel Miranda sound like Raul Esparza?
tenryuu it's just you
Anthony Rapp for me
Credit the pianist
this comment bothers me, it makes it sound like a bad thing
Is this the one that flopped?
The show originally flopped in the 80s but not this specific production, its now on broadway with an awesome cast and its super successful!! it just won a few tonys :))
The guy on the right is a bit sexy. I don't care for this song.
