I always enjoy watching your budget builds, and I say that with respect. I love your indoor pond build. I always imagine me having a huge indoor pond in my living room, that would look like an Amazon river, tributary or backwater carved or build down in the floor
I keep hundreds of animals mostly reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. My biggest aquatic ventures are my siren, axolotl, red eared slider, pipa pipa toad, African clawed frog, African dwarf frog, crayfish, American bullfrogs, moon jellyfish and common snapping turtle tanks and I just gotta say I hate working with aquatics but I absolutely love watching videos like yours because they are so informative and relaxing
Out of curiosity, what temp are the guppies kept at? Interesting and easy idea for a big guppy area that I may have to try out while breeding my own guppies.
I did this in 2020.. still have my little mosquito Minnows I sorta stole out of a drying up creek in a public park. They are thriving having babies and I don’t know how much I have but I believe it’s in the 100’s. I captured two babies and kept them separate. They are beautiful but I’m gonna put them back in the little pond because they aren’t growing as quickly as the ones outside even though I feed them way more fish food. >_
I really love seeing that little American Bullfrog tadpole. I feel like they are a little underrated because of them being invasive across the western United States but I love them so much. I currently have two bullfrogs right now, I have about a medium sized bullfrog which I caught because they are invasive around my area, and then I caught a little bullfrog because once again invasive but I love them dearly. Because I love these frogs so much, they get lots of my attention and stuff and I very much appreciate them in my life and I hope to catch some more from the wild of which they are invasive. Just because a species is invasive in areas and they cause destruction to those ecosystems, it's not necessary to euthanize them if you catch them, I have been able to tame out both my bullfrogs pretty easily and they have become wonderful pets, so there is a good message to give out to people: if it's invasive, catch it and give it a home so it can still live out it's life.
I’ve done the same with my gold tegu, green iguana, cane toad, Cuban tree frogs, Cuban knight anole and Burmese python (I bought my America bullfrogs, one wild type and one albino) but I completely agree! Just because they’re invasive doesn’t mean they have to be euthanized.
if you go just a under the video you can tap his name & it will take you to his channel then you hit a videos & it will put all his videos up for you to watch it's that simple to do.
I’ve heard from other UA-cam vids that you could possibly run this pond without a filter if you have a lot of plants. I was wondering what your thought process is for running a filter plus plants?
I have a kiddie pool pond in my backyard with tons of floaters in it, while I do have a solar powered birdbath fountain in it, it hardly filters the water and is more for oxygenation, and it works out fine for me, it also doesn't even run at night. I also have a 17 gallon rope handled bucket you can get from Walmart that has endlers in it and tons of floaters as well and it seems to be running just fine as well, no filter in that one at all. If this info helps at all.
hi scot how to take care a fish that is pregnant?? Bc my fish is pregnant bc i saw baby fish in my tank fish thingy and idk whos the mother of the baby fish bc it suddently pop of a nowhere
I am looking to get into having some large fresh water shrimp, can anyone tell me some breeds I should read up on please? Going to be in a 20 gal tank then in time moved into a big kids pool with fresh water crabs.
The tadpoles actually do not eat meat, they eat algae and stuff like fish food. They don't eat meat until they grow legs and then they stop eating anything for a couple of days when they absorb their tails. At that point they transition to eating bugs, fish, etc.
Where can I find guppies that are hardy still!? All of our local Petco guppies died within first weeks....except for one.🤦🏼♀️😅we have an established cycled aquarium.

That's 1 thing he didn't talk about or put in the pool which if it was me
I always have a heater in all my ponds tanks whatever has fish in it.
These are in my fish room where the ambient temperature stays about 77 due to the reptiles, so the water stays about 75 without a heater.
I like the way you say GUHppies.
Cool isea, for the shrimp, guppies and plants. I might have to get me a paddling pool. Cheers.

Everything looks great!
I like that underwater footage.
If anyone knows where to buy a glass kiddy pool or a glass container the shape and size of a kiddy pool it would really help me out

What aquarium plants do you have ? Nice setup

Hi I love your videos!!!
I am looking to get into having some large fresh water shrimp, can anyone tell me some breeds I should read up on please? Going to be in a 20 gal tank then in time moved into a big kids pool with fresh water crabs.
Love it
Are the pools inside or outside?
i breed guppies to just got a bunch of new ones like 20!
AMAZING! :D
It will take the bulfrog tatpole arond 2 years to be a bulfrog
Did you learn more about the jellyfish from the last episode?
Aren't guppies jumpers? Have you had any jump out ?
They can be jumpers but the surface is pretty much covered with duckweed at this point
if fred is your fav buddy please give him a bigger tank with somethng to do or arround him llike the other once do...
I was thinking about getting a swimming pool and doing my own fish pond
How many of the guppies have not been eaten by the bullfrog tadpole yet?
The tadpoles actually do not eat meat, they eat algae and stuff like fish food. They don't eat meat until they grow legs and then they stop eating anything for a couple of days when they absorb their tails. At that point they transition to eating bugs, fish, etc.
New subscriber here! Thanks for the useful ideas brother
Do you have a update
How often do you water change?
Get your way, space, filtration, cleaning, and feeding right and they will breed anywhere it is warm enough.
Sorry meant water not way.
Alexia it’s game day
Do feeder guppy have color
I wish I had those
I saw a dad fish at 2:57
A dad fish? Nope, that’s a female and if you meant dead, she is not dead.
Osum video so cool 😎
Keep it up :D
These are common fishes in my country
Im trying to breed hermit crab
good luck what type
Why not get some guppy grass as well since you are breeding guppys
I liked the video, but I didn't sub till you decided to raise the tadpole. I'm a herpetologist studying how to breed guppies right now.
That American bullfrog will eat your guppies when he gets big
Hi mate new subscriber here. May I havea question about your filter the ones you are using in ur guppy pond. How many watts are those?
Where can I find guppies that are hardy still!? All of our local Petco guppies died within first weeks....except for one.🤦🏼♀️😅we have an established cycled aquarium.
I tried. i cant. The music killed it.
That is not an american bullfrog tadpole, it's waaaay too small.
Music is a bit much. Video was alright otherwise.
The music was super distracting
But guppies need heat
Leave your place for a week and the pond will dry out. Somebody must come to your place and replenish water.
I love your content bit please stop with the mumble cRap
Boy is your music annoying
Yay, yet more animal abuse going on here.
???
this is not guppy
Bubble wall tank is lookin nice! Might have to take that idea!
