they may not change their sperm packet for upto 4 months so you could be waiting for around 6 months before knowing if they bred the new breed! i breed 1000s of guppies over the last few years and i suggest a deeper substrate to warm the water up ..... there will be alot of issues in a few weeks months in this set up! also the leeching of the plastic with the heater will cause a plastic weird smell! this set up is really complicated and will cause so many issues for the breeder! small glass containers are better than plastic overall! most likely the fish will start to get sick in due time and cause random deaths! .... the best thing to do is buy 20 baby fry and breed them yourself they will last so many months longer than shop purchased guppies! 2/3 weeks is the maximum age you should be buying guppies and they will be more bulletproof in the future! i study guppies and have loads of useful tips and info !
If you start from a bunch of baby fry, can you breed brothers and sisters with each other with no ill effects? Honest question, I don’t know the answer.
@@AdamSmith-yc8iz hi yes aslong as like 4 months down the line you add new males and females this will keep them pretty much strong genes .... maybe the odd few over the year that will have some problems with bent spines but 95% will be sweet
And in honour of the amount of total family members I have including my husband,children including our deceased son, soon to be 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild..21 babies.. now if these comments aren't generating revenue I don't know what it.that and i still don't know where to send Brenten his shirts and apron
