O have been attending Kappa Adventist for a couple of years.I have learned so many things to live a healthier, happier life. After church we have a Visitors potluck that the members supply. We always all eat. They are also the friendliest people I have met at church,it's like a family. And they teach a health bucket bible study before church. And there is a lot of Wisdom there. And quite a few, very vibrant people in their 80's and beyond sometimes.Dtill getting used the doctrine. My Grandfather was an Adventist and both he and his wife (my grandmother)
both became RNs so they could support their own ministry and
help people with their sail and body.My grandmother went on horseback for some of the babies she delivered. And she herself had mine children. She always had time to.help otherothers and women.

Thank you Doctor. I hope eating clean will help me with my seizures and heart attack and Open heart surgery I had 7 years ago at 38. If only I could find out if I am in fact having seizures or if its vasovagal syncope.

I often hear about the Okinawan diet heavy in sweet potatoes, so I asked my two Japanese friends. They looked at me confused, and said that Okinawa is known for its pork. I looked up the Japanese Wikipedia of Okinawan cuisine, and sure enough, it lists pork at the top. It lists a lot of vegetables like goya too, but no mention of sweet potatoes.

the traditional diet is mainly sweet potato although modern diets have been creeping in since the end of the world war. See link to wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okinawan_cuisine

Hey Doc!! I had the surgery 5 years ago. I lost almost 100 pounds. I gained back more than half 5 year out. Pandemic didn't help in my case. Is there hope that I can still lose. I can still only eat about 5 to 6 ounces. Anything pass that I am sick.
