- TAVI is the advanced surgical procedure for treating heart diseases, especially the issues with the heart valves. Aortic stenosis is usually treated with the TAVI procedure in which the doctors replace the Aortic valve. If untreated, the patients have a lifespan of only five years with a faulty valve and decreased life quality.
