Is this hereditary? My dad died of AS per his death certificate. Then my 50 yr old younger brother collapsed during Army reserve training because of this. He got his valve replaced. Thank god it happened with people and medics around.
Thank you this was very helpful. Just an extra thought: I know quite recently doctors are using more trans catheter aortic valve implants for treatment of aortic stenosis in select patients. Thank you again 👍
Is there any medication to overcome this situation of Valvural heart disease. Severe aortic stenosis. I am 66 yrs old, with this diagnosis, as perfection is not there in procedure performed, is there any medication which can help me to overcome this pain, while walking and lifting stuff. I have stable angina. Need your advice what I do next, not interested in putting any artificial valve. Any medication, food or herb which can help me to overcome this. Will nitroglycerin can help to overcome this pain. Please reply as soon as possible. Your opinion is very important for my life. God Bless and thanks for all your help.
My mum is 73 and been offered a bio valve, but her mother lived ton98 and father 88 I feel they are not giving her a long enough valve and thus long enough to live, should we ask for a mechanical valve?
I usually like your videos but this one isn't one of them. You're just jumping around and telling the consequences without explaining the physiology behind it.
In case of my father (67 years) ecocardiograph report shows that my father has severe aortic stenosis but according to city angiogram it is mild calcified. Which report is more acceptable?
Excellent presentation. The aortic calcification by age and value anatomy was something I hadn’t understood. Thank you.
The best way AS was explained to me so far. It will stick in my mind forever. Just discovered your channel today and it is such a win!
