- FORE! Semi Driver Gets Stuck on Golf Course. Talk about a hole in one. This driver got himself stuck at a fancy club golf course, so we dispatched Alex in our 75ton rotator to handle the job. Navigating to this spot was not too bad, but the pressure was on as the course staff was trying to rush this guy out. We understand, as this is a distraction to the golfers, but the driver did not make this easy.
What should have been a single winchout turned into several winchouts plus a trailer lift! The driver had issues turning the wheel to follow the trailer, so he kept getting himself stuck in the same spot. Eventually, the staff told us they no longer wanted to drive the truck forward anymore so the course would not get further damaged. That's when Alex had to back up to it, and just swing the trailer all the way over.
Was not the hardest job, but still a bit tricky and required a lot of patience. What do you guys think?

I know I've probably said this before. Alex, you have the patience of a saint.
Saw 52:17 for a straight winch out and thought wow, that got complicated. The driver really had a thing for that fertilizer pile. You never know who you are sharing the road with. Alex is a patient one for sure. The driver is out and I'm sure the course is happy with the way you handled it. The trucking company... not so much.
Big fan here of Alex ..got lots of patience with people asking questions…

Awesome, saving this on my cue to watch later. On another note, Alex has gotten really good at narrating videos and providing analysis/feedback on why and what he's doing. For a layman like me, it helps us understand and appreciate the work much more.

I am first! What a mess. Hard to tell what the problem was other than not knowing how soft the earth was. Alex is so cool, no panic, no impatience, just keep pulling. At first I couldn't imagine that the winch out would take long at all, but... Thanks guys.

This is a classic example of, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. Trucker needs to go back to school, and this time pay attention to the instructor.
Some drivers of trucks have no clue what to do in a bind. Bless their heart, but they just don't.
Would be a nice feature to be able to steer the truck with a remote to guide the truck along the path that Alex wants the driver to follow.
I kept hoping that Alex would hop in that truck and drive it himself... even knowing that insurance/liability probably won't allow it.

Great job Alex, I drove truck for over 40 years. Anything from 27 foot shag trailers, 29foot pups, up to 53 foot trailers. doubles, triples, Rocky Mountain doubles! Been retired for 20 years, and never seen drivers like they have all there now! What I see from your videos you’ll have job security till you’re 90 years old and so are your kids and grandkids!
I worked at a place where the dock was extremely difficult to back in to. I would have to back them in because some don't know their left from their right. This was 40 years ago. With the amount of shipping today, instead of 20% steering wheel holders, we have 60%. I really don't understand how so many dump truck idiots drive away with their box raised.

That driver didn't look like he understood the process of delivering there too well. But you got that heavy thing out of the way regardless. Still can't figure why the truck went all the way down there.
I don't normally say anything bad about drivers I think that guy needs to get his money back from the driving school just my opinion but why would you back up in the same place three times in wind up the same predicament I can't figure it out love your videos be safe and have a great day Sam
Semi Driver wandering out into a mulch/manure field has a brain of similar content.
Your absolutely right, because at the end of the day, you can't polish a turd. And instead of the driver getting bent around the axle, he should learn to open his ears, and maybe he would learn something. But alas, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

I think the mulch truck driver flunked the "how to back up a trailer" lesson in school! Or he drove for NASCAR where you only turn left; never right on the track. Very good patience and great job with customer relations, Alex!

Some people listen but don't hear, that driver was fortunate that you turned up to get him out of the mess that he created for himself.
Josh, while editing the video you must have been fuming that the driver wouldn't listen to Alex's instructions. Even the driver of the other truck was embarrased to watch the other guy making an absolute mess of everything!
This driver needs remediated.I thought he was going to twist his drive line at the very end, as a HD truck mechanic i have had to pull drive lines that looked like spaghetti from losing to poor driviing skills.

Why would a golf course allow a heavy truck as this to drive onto the grounds? They should have a maintenance area to unload mulch and other items, and then use their turf equipment to take the much over their property. That makes more sense for a golf course. I blame the grounds manager for this kind of failure, not the driver. You don't allow a heavy truck/trailer to run over the property. Dumb!
The groundsman said he was told not to go down there.
I understand the frustration on the part of the golf course. I feel for the course management. Sadly, it has been a wet spring and fully loaded semis do tend to sink.

Mannnnn, my biggest takeaways from this:
1: Josh’s editing with *spanish cussing* freaking GOLD! I laughed at that cause my guero behind caught like 90% of what was said but I understand this is still a family channel.
2: Once again Alex proving his worth in the rotator, and that Pepe’s truly are masters of the craft.
3: angry golf course man reminded me of angry tree man from a couple months back. (Not saying golf course guy did wrong, but the sheer frustration levels were similar for me) at least Alex didn’t have anyone telling him his partner has a big mouth *looking at you Josh LMFAO*
