No, actually there is a model for the baby. So the theory is that fromsoftware would face age rating problems with the unkindled hitting a baby and then oceirons smashing him in the ground. So they decided to make him invisible.
Old comment but what confuses me is that this is a cool theory but you can hear Ocellote crying and if Ocellote is dead than how would he able to hear her? If it were only Ocieros who could hear her crying it would make sense but we can too? My head canon is that Ocellote is a descendent of Priscilla and can turn invisible, or it’s just some innate ability to turn invisible which may be an ability of the half-breeds
The Soulsborne series has some amazing VAs or well maybe Voice direction. Like where the hell are these amazing VAs in other games? So good at selling the atmosphere. Also Shiva's cutt dialogue is pretty awesome
Yes definitely. I want to add Maiden Astraea from Demon's Souls. I know many Soulsborne players, including me, couldn't play DeS because of it being a PS3 exclusive. You should definitely check out Maiden Astraea fight - dialogues. Voice acting in that fight is phenomenal.
I would say this is the most underrated boss in dark souls III and maybe in the entire series. This boss just creates an atmosphere and gives you chills fighting, unlike many other bosses and it is one of the rare bosses you don't actually don't want to kill. One of my favourites for sure!
this reminds me of my own loving father figure, Oceiros is truly a standard all fathers should try to follow. When I become a father, I will make a child of dragons, Oceiros will become my guide, I will follow his every move, and imitate it to the best of my meagre ability. Oceiros is truly a better father than mine could ever have been, my child of dragons will have nothing to fear.
I don't think experimenting on your own child based on the work of Seathe who kidnapped people and locked his failed experiments in a dungeon is exactly a good fatherly quality.... but agree to disagree

My theory is that 'Ocelotte' Was the youngest of his children, with Lothric and Lorian coming later. Being a 'child of dragons' it can be assumed that Ocelotte was a dragon hybrid, like Priscilla. This would imply that the child could turn invisible, and perhaps this is what he was cradling. During the fight, either you or Oceiros kills the child, sending him into a frenzy.

Ngl the story for Oceiros is pretty sad.. A king who had everything then lost everything.. He even pretends to (or does) have an invisible baby. When you get half way through the fight he says srew this damn child and smashes it against the floor to fight for his life, pretty tragic

+Kamoe Desu Ryan Anon was the one behind most of Bloodborne's tracks, iirc. Kitamura composed ROM, Ebrietas, Ludwig and Maria's themes. DKS3 was surely the one title where she was the most involved composer, considering Sakuraba signed 7 out of 24 tracks.

I mean I'm literally dying from a charge attack that crushed my body, broken and bleeding on the ground, and this guy is casually conversing with me. Now imagine beating this guy at SL 1, with a broken sword. I was literally one-shotting scrubs with aimed dark sorceries, and perfect dodge rolling their attacks from my dragon boys training. Beating the Dancer at soul level 20 was the easy part. I got my butt kicked by dragonslayer armor, but eventually beat him. I actually managed to beat Lothric, and Lorian at soul level 20 as well. Now that was pure cancer lol. Surprisingly I met a lot of other players doing these bosses at a low soul level. I'm proud of everyone playing the game in the most inefficient way possible. The feeling of accomplishment we get from beating a boss while highly underleveled is worth it.

Very, VERY unlikely. Note how after Oceiros goes completely berserk that you don't hear it anymore. That lends a fair bit of credit to the lore claiming Oceiros is making the cries.

id like to point out that there is a certain ability a cross breed of dragons have which is turning invisible like crossbreed Priscilla and I'd like to think that ocelotte has this same ability as well but in the end this could be my and maybe a few of other people's theory since this game is wonderfully open minded to anything
Very, VERY unlikely. Note how after Oceiros goes completely berserk that you don't hear it anymore. That lends a fair bit of credit to the lore claiming Oceiros is making the cries.

As far as anyone knows, that ability is unique to Priscilla, and not dragonkind in general, besides, Lothric and his brother are also part dragon and they don't turn invisible. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that Ocelotte doesn't have the ability.

+Momo Dash Just beaten dark souls 1. Plan to tackle dark souls 2 then take on dark souls 3 when that is finished.... Number 3 definitely is the most depressing out of the bunch (heard there WAS going to be a child in the fight, realistically the baby gets crushed by accident which contributes to oceiros devolving into a feral beast.)

+Momo Dash DS 3 is flat out depressing. Then again this is the end of the world.... while in dark souls 1 and 2 tell us about the suffering, ds 3 shows us the suffering.
