Before this video, I never liked cooking ribs - now with this easy pressure cooker recipe, I've cooked ribs twice with excellent results and feedback! Randall has figured it out!
Out of all the variations of pressure cooker ribs, yours have all the tips one needs, and the only one who talks about not over cooking with the natural release...love it....
Great to hear your are enjoying the ribs Ben... thanks for sharing and watching the video! This is one of my favorites as it's always reliable for taste and tenderness...Cheers Mate!
This was great!! so good and at 25 mins that was morethat enough to have very tender but still on the bone ribs!! Thanks fron Los Angeles !!! I used a modelo beer. you sir have my thanks
Thanks for the message and viewing my video Claudia! Happy to hear they came out yummy 😋 at 25mins 👍🏼. Great to hear when cooks add their own twist to the recipe…Modelo Love it! 🍺
We tried this last night and they came out good. I used a Mexican beer that I had in the fridge but will use Guinness next time. I also used my own rub as my wife doesn't like anything spicy. Thanx for the recipe.
Great to hear Pete....thanks for trying the recipe and glad it turned out well! Yes, the Guinness will give it a more robust flavor as Mexican beer tends to be on the lighter side. What did you use for your rub?
Cool video. In St. Louis we have the best ribs--St. Louis style or baby back. And the best of the best: Pappy's Smokehouse ribs. They do not require sauce. The ribs you have made look delicious.
Thanks so much for watching the video it is one of my favorites 👍🏼 I heard the St. Louis ribs are outstanding 🍖 I’ve never been there only to Memphis, KC and Texas for some good BBQ as well 🍗 I hope I can make it to Pappy’s one day!🙏🏼 thanks again!
Hi Cheryl...thanks for the message. I know one issue for getting the LID message is putting the lid on when the Instant Pot is in Saute mode. Let me know if that is the case. Good luck and keep enjoying your pressure cooker!
Thanks for watching and the question Regina....I am near sea level in Florida and have not cooked at altitude..however, I have read that the rule of thumb for high altitude pressure cooking, Instant Pot or otherwise: For every 1,000 feet above 2,000-foot elevation, increase cooking time by 5 percent. So add some time to those ribs and they should be nice and tender! Enjoy and good luck!
Thanks for watching! Yes ... good luck and enjoy. You can play with the time after you cook them a few times depending if you really like them falling off the bone or a "tug" like I mention.
Thanks for the question and for watching! My oven only has one broil setting which is high so that is what I use. Be careful to watch them as beyond 5 minutes they can start to burn. Also, don't get them too close to the heating element. Enjoy!
I have never heard that and I personally have never had any issues. After a quick Google search, I didn't really see anyone having issues mentioning carbonated beverages. Unless you use a lot of any sugary substance and the sugar residue may clog the safety valve but that was all I found. Thanks for checking in and I hope the ribs are delicious for you!
@@CookinUnderPressure thank you for that excellent feedback that instant pot is an amazing machine miraculous to be able to take something from Frozen to play in 20 minutes is miraculous
It isn't clear how long you cook these for. U said it took 20 minutes for the pressure and then made mention of 5 minutes but all less than an hour. Could you please explain? Also as I don't eat pork can you please provide a recipe for beef cross ribs?
Thanks for watching the video! As far as cook time, it is 25 minutes…but each pressure cooker takes a different amount of time to “get to pressure” to start that cook time. Mine took 20 minutes so 20 minutes plus 25 minutes plus natural release 15-20 is right around 1 hour. If you do a quick release it’s 45 minutes in this cook. Hope that makes sense 👍🏼. Please check out my Yankee Pot Roast video for a beef version. Enjoy! 🙏🏼
Hey Henry thanks for watching! I use Apple Cider in the pressure cooker and just prefer it... I do use ACV in my smoker (in a steam pan) for those ribs and I’m sure you could substitute ACV in this recipe 👍🏼

Have done this exact recipe three times now. Absolute cracker! Thanks from Australia. :)

Does the beer flavor stand out?
Sorry I just saw this question 🤦♂️ no it does not stand out but does taste different than using water if that makes sense!

Thanks for watching! Directly in on this one no trivet required…enjoy! 🍖😎

Hey! How do I cook ribs in my pressure cooker in hih altitude?

Broil on high or low??

I heard it said that one shouldn't put carbonated beverages in an instant pot have you heard that or heard of any problems doing it

You live in Florida there is no endless Summer
Apple Cider, or Apple Cider Vinegar?
Hey Henry thanks for watching! I use Apple Cider in the pressure cooker and just prefer it... I do use ACV in my smoker (in a steam pan) for those ribs and I’m sure you could substitute ACV in this recipe 👍🏼
Also if using ACV, I would probably cut the ACV with water ...maybe 1/2 cup ACV to 1.5 cup water
Guinness isnt beer its stout
Thanks Jayne yeah I heard that 4 years ago after I made this video🤣 how were the ribs?
Guinness is not a beer it is a stout
Yes it is a stout thanks for the message Tony...hope you pour yourself a pint while you enjoy your ribs!
