Try changing the spacing in the Stroke menu or adjusting the Lazy rope and stablizer parameter. The speed in which you draw may require different numbers
Hello! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial! I am getting hung up at one spot. I was able to create the fur brush just fine, but when I try to add in the fur, every stroke seems to be incredibly defined, with what appears to be creases around every stroke. Whereas at 09:42 in your video, you are able to do multiple strokes and they all seem to kind of flow into each other. I watched your alpha video and while it helped me, it didn't quite fix the issue. I've tried messing with the multiresolution and voxel with no luck. I feel like it's a super simple setting I'm just missing!
My brush is creates very sharp fur? it just looks like open inverted triangle, and less like fur. What do I need to adjust get a more rounded sides like yours? Thanks for the videos
Thank you for doing this video!! I love this effect. I hope in the future videos you can fix the settings so we can see all the screen. For me is very important to see the size and intestines of the brushes and sometimes they couldn’t be seen in the video. Thank you for creating these videos and please keep it up!
I always learn something new in your videos! I didn't realize there was an option to smooth/erase layers to get nice transitions! Very useful!
How do your brush strokes blend together (9:50) and not over lap? I get over lapping lines
I having issues with this brush, insure of just one layer of fur its create a bunch of jagged triangles do you know how to fix?

I have the same issue 😔
Have a look at the alpha video I made. There's more info on how to avoid that!
Check your mesh resolution, if it’s low, you’ll get pixelated brushes/images.
Really high resolutions can also lead to obvious stamping from the brush

I have the same problem :')
Found my problem! Did you pick the "layer" brush or just any brush? Choosing the "layer" brush got me to get one unified shape
it still looks a little bit weird, with mulitple cones with one storke. But it kinda works heheh
update, i choose to reduce the stroke spacing and it looks better. Might have been that my mesh was small :p
I know it’s been a while but I figured it out, make sure you make a new layer on the object you’re using the brush on.

Thanks for the videos
Have a look at the alpha video, I go more indepth on the adjustments you can make to the brush :)
