Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third main game in the Baldur's Gate series, which is based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. A partial version of the game was released in early access format for macOS, Windows, and the Stadia streaming service, on 6 October 2020. The game remained in early access until its full release on Windows on 3 August 2023. macOS and PlayStation 5 versions are scheduled for 6 September 2023, and an Xbox Series X/S port is in development. Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game that offers both a single-player and cooperative multiplayer element. Players can create one or more characters and form a party along with computer-generated characters to explore the game's story. Optionally, players will be able to take one of their characters and team up online with other players to form a party.[3] Unlike previous games in the Baldur's Gate series, Baldur's Gate III has turn-based combat, similar to Larian's earlier games Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II; but this time, it is based on the D&D 5th Edition rules

@@Vassilinia If it ends up in your inventory, you can crush it by going into your inventory and using the tadpole. That way, your character won't have the option to try and convince your companions to take the tadpole.

As soon as the stupid Emperor forced me to take the tadpole in my honor run I decided to kill that Bastard later on. God I hate that it forces you if you don't have enough wisdom

Exactly, I failed the wisdom roll and had the parasite in my inventory so I just threw it away. I don’t want to be an illithid

@@Cotton_Cloud4792I just got (I think) an extra one and just kicked “drop” (idk if that’s the translation to English) and never touched it again
@@nellysonn9508 ah makes sense (i think the translator did the job) i’ve been keeping them in my pockets untouched, really wish the was a way to destroy items

No. But there are mods to remove the visual changes.

Hi there how do you say no to no to a illitithid dont want my character to look ugly. The wisdom check is hard Im a sorcerer so I have high charisma but low Wisdom no way I can pass 21. I also have shadowheart but she not giving me guidance probably ran out of slots during the fight why is it so hard to say no. I dont want to be an ugly alien lol
I mean, you can save and reload to try to get 21, that's on you

It took me a while to figure that out.
Before killing the last Githyanki Monk during the fight protecting the Emperor. Give Guidance to your main character using shadow heart or whoever else has guidance and maybe some other Ability checks advantages.@@lousassle6136
@@lousassle6136 guidance is a cantrip. she has it. equip it and youll have the option to use it in rolls

I picked no several times but the rolls weren’t in my favor and made me evolve anyway. 😑

As soon as I found out that the creature that I thought was looking after me and guiding me was an Illithyd, I immediately stopped doing anything he wanted me to.
Including evolving further.
I'm looking forward tk finishing the game to see how it works out for me.
