  • Curves can be proceduraly generated and animated using geometry nodes. This speeds up character design and animation. This short tutorial shows you how to generate hair-like snakes for Medusa with geometry nodes. Use Blender (free software) to create characters and character animations.

Great content mate, your quality of production is so high, a question, if you could help me it would be great, is there any way to use that curve data and place a sculpted tentacle in there (that deforms along the curve) ? it would be great for my project

I don't know how is it possible to create that high quality videos - It's unreal. The attention to details is amazing.
I am wondering how long it took you to create the whole video including rendering, cutting, recording etc.
    Respect.

      Wow, thank you!
It takes quite a bit of time, rendering, audio recording, editing, etc.
I don't know the exact number of hours because I can only work on it in my free time, but a rough estimate will be somewhere around 40 hours.

I love the way you use the animations to move the nodes. It makes it so clear. How do you do that? Do you actually animate individual objects?

Cool results but don't feel like i'm learning something except the fact that it works and i can copy the node settings without understanding it. It misses some pedagogy to get the logic behind the scene. Thank's by the way

Awesome tutorial format, Sina! I can’t imagine the amount of effort it takes to make the illustrative comparisons, node animatics, & sound design.
If you wish to share, how long did it take to make this video? Hopefully you can dial in the video editing to speed it up

Yeah, it takes a long time. I don't know exactly, because I work on the editing in multiple sessions (during free time). My guess is around 20-30 sessions of 1-4 hours each.
