Great tutorial man, i was wondering why u need the data transfer modifier? Can u not just use the actual mesh one. Im trying to follow your tutorial everything make sense except that
Glad you’re enjoying the tutorial! Awesome question! After using the Boolean, the topology of the mesh gets messed up, which leads to bad shading. The Data Transfer modifier helps fix this by copying the smooth shading (normals) from the original mesh and applying it to the new one, even though the geometry has changed. It’s basically a way to restore the proper shading!
Unlike Houdini there are no dedicated physics solvers like vellum in geo nodes yet, unless you wanna make one from scratch, like @3dsinghvfx has done but its a lot of work and its not for everyone
perhaps YOU can explain to me, what is the difference between "brilliant", "genius". Because when watching your video, I can't decide which word to use.
Should we all be rude like you are? Are you OK with people going into your places of worship and expecting people to not worship, but to discuss something else? Your ignorance is endless.

Average youtube hater, prolly pissed his pants seeing blender UI.

Uv squares addon does the job
It won’t work because of boolean topology, not quads.

@@Index3D thanks man appreciate it im just using a simple cylinder peel off. Awesome content
Excellent tutorial!
I wonder how possible it would be to do all (or most) of this with purely geonodes...

Great explanation , any tips how to learn blender i am newbie
patato❣
Couldn't you use uv toolkit addon and pressed straighten uvs rather than that
how can you do this for a flat cuboid? I am facing a lot of issues with the extrusion.
Do you mean solidify modifiers
Not working

god damn

Why are they imposing this as an animation program? Can't I use it for all organic facades? what's the difference
😮😮😮😮😮👏👏👏👍👍🙏🙏🙏
CAN I PEEL THIS POTATO IN MY POTATO PC?? IT CAN AFFORD TO RUN BLENDER 2.79 ONLY.. AND THE EXPERIENCE IS NOT SO SMOOTH..
Yes i think you can,
instead of geometry node you can use vertex weight edit modifier
@@Index3D hmm, but I need to seperately learn how that vertex weight modifier works??
He says potato as pateto 😅. Its Punjabi accent
