  • “There’s 1kg of bacteria in a human being’s gut. From disease to emotion, everything begins in the gut, it is a thriving ecosystem and food can either nourish it or poison it. In fact, some of the most popular food combinations are actually toxic for you, but when you know what it's doing you won't put it in your mouth again.”
An Ayurveda and Gut Health Coach, Dr. Dimple Jangda is a pioneer in the world of holistic gut health having transformed the lives of thousands of patients across the world. She believes becoming healthy begins with the gut, and today we deep dive into why.
Join us as Dr. Dimple combines 5000-year-old ayurvedic philosophy with modern research-backed science to explain why gut health is the foundation of healthy living. Learn how to find your Dosha, cure illness holistically, and ensure your food is nourishing you, not poisoning you.
Get ready to be ‘Realigned’ as Dr. Dimple shares actionable tips, simplifies food chemistry, and teaches you how to listen to your gut.

I have been following these for years since 2011, waking up to warm water, then a non-citrus fruit and dry nuts, exercising, then carrying on with the regular day with no-oil no-salt breakfast and work. Dinner by 6PM, no water after 7pm and sleep by 9pm. I also follow zero alcohol, smoking, as much possible zero packaged drinks or food. My acidity, constipation, and acne all got cured. I am now 44 and feel the energies of twenty something.

It's just amazing to see how much knowledge ancient India had. I mean how did they know honey when heated was poisonous for the body and today we need to conduct study on rats and bees to know that. Now I understand why my mom and nani went crazy when I said I had strawberry yoghurt for breakfast

This was just brilliant. So much knowledge. I thought I was living right. But there are a lot of mistakes I need to correct. Like the milk shakes with the fruits. The warm water with apple cider vinegar and honey. I have to watch this podcast again and share it. Blessings from Trinidad. ❤

THE PODCAST WAS REALLY THOUGHTFUL.. So I start my day with 3 glasses of lukewarm water. Then go for Yoga.. After completing all my rituals I binge on some soaked dryfruits.. later to it I feed myself with green apple.. After few hours I take my breakfast.. later I eat fruits and salad (carrot+Beetroot+Cucumber).. Then I take my lunch.. After one hour of the lunch I consume a cup of green tea.. In the evening after I reach home I prefer a cup of Tea alongwith the biscuits and namkeen which I know is not healthy at all..😒.. Then by 9pm I take as glass of turmeric milk with dates.. Finally I go to sleep at 10.. Please help me in correcting my diet and food habits

The doctor spoke too fast. I missed out on a lot of her information.
I don’t agree with what I heard about breakfast.
The best way of healthy eating is , every morning eat breakfast like a king, which should be the biggest meal of the day . Lunch like a queen, which should be a smaller meal and dinner like a pauper which should be little to basically nothing. Only then you can have a good Circadian Rhythm.

Absolutely true about best time to meditate, problem solving and creativity. When faced with business challenges I find my best answers and problem solving between 2-5am. Design and flowchart the most efficient computer generated systems for many businesses.
Even got up to study when in college around this time and was an A+ student. That was in the 70's and 80's.
The mind is more relaxed and the quiet surroundings makes it more conducive to my best performance.

Those with IBS and weak digestive fire in the morning, must start their day with jamun juice or jamun sirka (jamun vinegar) which is the best thing to be taken daily on empty stomach (2 capfuls in a glass of water). Jamun sirka is also great for diabetics, diarrhea or gas. For those who wake up late (due to night shifts) it is better to avoid breakfast entirely and have lunch by 2pm and a light dinner by 8pm.

The regiment is hard to follow even though I absolutely believe it will work. A lot of it makes logical sense especially things like not having too much food in your gut before going to sleep.
I work 6-5, and often even longer hours so I can't even prepare a meal at lunchtime let alone eat it properly as work hours don't allow for it.

Ayurved has gone English, कफ has become कफा, पित्त has become पित्ता... Why can't we speak correct

The uhh sound at the end of words is SANSKRIT pronunciation. In Hindi, the uhh ending is dropped, pittah becomes pitt in Hindi. But In Tamil, the uhh ending becomes umm ending. Pittah becomes Pittam in Tamil. Nowhere English is involved in all this. Learn something before spreading nonsense.
