My bank account is not ready for this video lol Anthuriums are my all time fav
My wallet quivered
Agreed!
totally agree... 🤣
Salary said 'No!'
hello, maybe I can offer my anthurium collection to you. how can i contact you?
I wouldn’t mind if all of your videos were an hour. I get excited to see when your videos are ready to watch. It is my Friday guilty pleasure and I watch them twice. Once when I’m on my break (I’m in the US) and once when I get home with a glass of wine. Love everything. Keep being great!
Anthuriums species are the one which are getting more and more challenging to identify especially with all the hybridization and mutations. Even though you may think you may get the pure form but actually it could be a hybrid. I have learnt to appreciate the foliage more instead of chasing down their parentages.
the unknown hybrid 15:00 looks like dorayaki (crystallinum hybrid). It has the dorayaki leaf shape, white veins, compact posture and stiffness. It can be anything else of course but that's what it reminds me of.
I think it is dorayaki hybrid or probably Anthurium Crystallinum Silver. The "Pure" dorayaki anthurium has one very unique feature and the leaves indeed look like mini pancake and it is faces the sky upwards.. Imagine your hand trying to scoop some water - thats how the leaves will look like for "Pure" dorayaki or they said the highest quality grade. Try to own one.. It's pretty cute and indeed unique.
I love your videos, your disclaimers. It's hilarious when you punch in funny bits, like with Ben's picks. You are hilarious, and awesome creator. I have learned alot. I know you love silver foliage, I have a new silver one...a silver cloud pilea. The growth, the color, the underside of leaves are red. The gorgeous growth, they call these friendship plant. There a silver sparkle pilea with adorable little leaves...if you do a plant index plant, pilea plants, rhaphidophora plants, would be terrific additions
Video dropped 11 minutes ago. Watching this at 11:11. This is my sign to buy another anthurium.
Gosh. How do you keep all the Anthuriums so blemish free? *envious*. Really love the dark mysterious boi! 😍
omg that crystallinum is huge!! I think you've just convinced me to buy one after an hour of crystallinum propaganda 😆
Yasssss! Do it they're going really cheap nowadays!
The A. radicans is not probably pure radicans but a hybrid with luxurians. I have the exast same plants which grows also the exact same grazy way. :D The pure radicans has a creeping growth habit and that to me suggest to me that it might be radicans x (luxurians x radicans) also.
I have have the luxurians x radicans and it does the exact same thing
That’s my exact thoughts. I’m from Australia and the one I got is exactly the same but it’s a radicans x lux. the radicans will crawl heaps and it’s not as glossy
“now i’m going to show very rare plants that i have to be very careful with”
*proceeds to shake a crystallinum red violently
Can you PLEASE do a video where you are propping anthurium? Philo are simple but I don’t think anthurium are the same and I would love a visual please!!!
Isn't Delta Force Clarinervium x Pedatoradiatum? Not Pterodactyl.
yes
I'm here for the longbois! Give me more to add to the wishlist lol Love the channel.
Delta Force is a cross between Clarinervium and Pedatoradiatum, not Clarinervium and Pterodactyl.
Hi Kaylee. Any chance you might do a video on how to pollinate antherium flowers?
OMG Mysterious Dark Boy back on screen!!! 😍 he's magnificent
Idk what it is about forgettii, but the rounded top/lack of sinus just puts me off to them 🤷♀️ I actually got my first anthurium from you, Kaylee! Crystallinum still looking lovely 2 years later.
That's interesting, I'm always drawn to peltate leaves in a plant, like how I prefer the gigas to the melanochrysum
I love the rounded sinus, so of course my forgetii has decided not to grow normally 😅
@@you_gullible_fucc funny you use that example, gigas is another one that I thought I'd like but kinda don't lol. Melano can be a pain, but still beautiful!
@@bethanynapier9407 you oughta try them at least, they might not be exactly what you want but they're way less particular than melanochrysums
PSA - plant naming (for whoever cares)
For species:
Genus species - and the species name is in lowercase italic
If it's a specific clone of that species, say, a plant with a unique look, it's Genus species 'Clone' - species still lowercase italic and then some name in single quotes. In this context, clone means a single plant that is cloned (via propagation or TC) or will get cloned --> multiplied.
For crossses:
Genus Crossname - if it's within one genus, say Anthurium with Anthurium, it stays Anthurium. If you cross plants of different genuses(eseses), there's a new genus name. After that, it's some made up name for that specific cross. Sometimes that one cross, to come to this Crossname, you need specific clones of a species (certain looks).
If you got special clones of a cross, there's the same as for the clear species - (Cross)Genus Crossname 'Clone'.
What traders tend to do:
They often times have this habit of claiming clones as either new crosses (they move the clone name into the crossname position without the quotes) or they leave out the crossname completely. Suddenly it's a tradename. Example: In boxstores, you tend to get a scented and yellow and pink coloured and orchid called "Phalaenopsis Liodoro". The actual name of this plant is Phalaenopsis Sweet Memory 'Liodoro'. They just sell copies of that one output of that one cross under the clone name as trade name.
For some of these big plants you could do a b roll pointing out selling points, or put a stool up to put big plants on. To save your arms. Love your content.
King Clarinervium is Indonesian Pride🇮🇩🇮🇩❤🤍
These videos are hard for my wallet. I've bought and ordered 4 plants today🤭
I think the mystery crystallinum is crossed with clarinervium
Hey Kaylee, I'm curious to hear an update on your Delta Force hybrids! All the plants you crossed with DF, have the berries ripened yet? I'm dying to see how those turn out. Give us an update :)
Spending part of my day crocheting a String of Pearls plant for my sister ‘cause who has time for the real thing. This video helped pass some time. Thank you.
Kaylee, this is my favorite video ever! Anthuriums are my favorite, and you have so many dark, huge leaves. Always down for more content like this, and definitely can’t wait to see how your crosses turn out 😊
I enjoy your videos and content. I would love to see a Rhaphidophora rare plant index. I live my Dragon Tail Rhaphidophora. I want those leaves to mature and get big and gorgeous
I love the Warocqueanum! Mine is doing its thing as well 🤣 so happy that I have plants that people don’t look for but you give them justice 😊
YEAH ; You right, and yes; long time it was on my list to own it , but it was out of my budget, but last night i couldn't resist any longer, so i bought one from the Nederlands , and it was much cheaper than last year, so i am curious to see what i get and hopefully it arrives without damages 🤞greets, ✌✌ Carl from Belgium
Hi :) what kind of soil you have in anthuriums ?
Red BEAUTY is what you were thinking of lol ❤️
I wish my Crystalalinum looked like yours!!
Same!!
I’d love to hear your opinions on growing anthuriums in leca. Im switching to leca from soil, and I now see more and more people prefer to put them into Pon instead, but can’t figure why. LOVE this video by the way!!!
Almost all my Anthuriums are in Leca and do just fine (in my room, 55-65% humidity with help of a humidifier, no greenhouse, but plant light).
2 of my Queens sitting in water since last summer, just recently put the 3rd in Leca, so not sure there yet. All Velvet Anthuriums BTW.
I'd say just make sure there is a bit of air circulation as those that I have more in the corner with not much air movement, did get some spots (as do the Alocasia in the same corner). Assuming that could be as they have quite some water with the Leca and all very tightly packed next to each other for a while now. I am sure they will look perfect once I have moved and finally can give then more space, again. When they had before, they all thrived. Spots are minor, all still looking gorgeous so Leca works just fine for me.
I thought they love air on the roots so big Leca balls allow for more air compared to Pon, that was the reason for me to go with Leca first. Not an expert here but I hope that helps. 🙂
@@frau_caro THANK YOU THANK YOU, this really helps! 😊💚
I bought a plant thru Etsy in February. Seller told me that being I was in a neighboring state, I would have it next day or in 2 days. It took 5 days! I even asked the P.O. to hold my plant. I would pick it up in the 23°F cold. I've have it about 3 weeks and yes.. the damage can show up even in the following weeks. I don't know if I can save my Ring of Fire but I'm not giving up. It was a wish list plant. No more buying in winter for me.
Recently got back into my plants after being burnt out for the last 6 months. Super shocked all of my anthuriums survived but half of my philodendrons kicked the bucket.
I love the pallidiflorum, I searched for the super narrow but could only find a normal one. Still love it. The vittarifoliums I have are still seedlings, hoping they size up this year
Yo what are those little plastic oval shaped things in your soil, like when you showed the King of Clarinervium
"This whole video is just chaos" 😂 Kaylee Ellen the Chaos Coordinator Extraordinaire! Lol. Not an anthurium person for myself, but still loving the peek at your collection!
Your videos are so entertaining you say it as it is👍.Unfortunately with watching I’m on the look out for 2 Anthuriums in the not to distant future👌.
I think you misspoke about the Delta force parentage. Marie and several articles say it came from pedatoradiatum x clarinervium . The same two plants produced pterodactyl and macrolobium
not sure when this video was uploaded or filmed but you probably now know already the only way to produce clones of plants is via vegetive propagation. each seed will contain a unique genetic re combination of the parent plant DNA.
my philodendron pink princess is doing the same thing as your anthurium radicans. it's deviding itself and creating new growth points very rapidly. it's making me crazy and I don't know how to fix it😭it's such a nice pink princess with great amount of varigation and I want it to grow big leaves but producing dozens of new growth points makes it's leaves stay small and deformed. I can't even attach her on a moss pole because it keeps pushing out new tiny plants from every side😣
I like your videos even though i have a different taste in plants. More of a hoya, orchid, succulent gal but interesting videos either way.👍
I may be completely wrong here but isn't the "dark form forgetii" actually the regular one ? For what I'm aware, the one with white vaining is called "white stripes forgetii" and it's a hybrid of something because eventually the sinus shows up with maturity. Again, that may be total bs but it sort of makes sense to me
the regular forgetii is actually in between the two shown, it has veins naturally but not super striking. both white stripes and dark form were variations within population that were made into cultivars. as for the sinus all forgetii can occasionally throw a leaf with sinus, but it doesn't indicate hybridization. its just like the debilis she showed who threw a really wide leaf randomly. i have a very mature white stripes that hasn't thrown anything with sinus yet and I've had babies that threw normally lobed leaves and grew into their normal shape. its just anthuriums keeping life interesting.
For people wanting something Queen anthurium-esk but with less stress then Anthurium Villenaorum is slow but a lot less dramatic
My rad x lux has the ridiculous bulby butt also. It annoys me
Mine, too! And it came in like that from the seller, so maybe thats just the way it grows?! 🤷🏻♀️🤔 I don‘t mind it, but I still haven‘t find the best way with it, so it still has a little bit problems to really start growing 😅 but it didn‘t die either so that will have to do for the moment 🙈
Oooof that crystallinum took my breath away 😳
How old is your BIG BILL, its huge? Scale of 1-10 care??? lol
I think Mysterious Dark Boi might be Chamberlainii
15:23 I think that's a Crystallinum x Clarinervium
It's so weird how I love allll kinds of plants but somehow anthurium and alocasia do nothing for me
25:00 I bought a PPP a few weeks ago and it is doing this. It’s not to that extent but I was going to try to separate some but I can’t even see where I would.
I love the Delta Force so much. So so much.
Last quarter of 2021 i started out collecting philos and monsteras and some random plants but they were taking up spaces so stop for a while but my heart just fell in love with anthorium hookerii and jenmanii especially those variegated ones. However, same like those previously colletions they just need good space. Then came april 2022, i started out heart shape anthoriums with just
-doroyaki, silver blush, crystal hope, and crystalinum. I just love them. But when my father past away last year, i wasnt really focusing to buy anything. But just last december last year i started out to continue my collections, so i imported: white stripe regale from ecuagenera and its just melt my heart…..
So this month as the year starts the following were added:
-doroyaki green
-kos x doroyaki
-black magic (dresreleii x lux)
-magni verde x aos x bessae aff
-bessae aff hybrid
-papilaminum blue x supermassive
-hybrid papi red stem
-red crysta ecuador
-hybrid leuconorum (splashes yellow var)
-david portilla dream
-amazon rabbit (fm ecuagenera)
-clarivernium tarantula
-inverse raven soul
Ohhh i still able to import 3 hookerii premium variegations from thailand. And promised myself that would be the last three 😂😂😂 for a birds nest type of anthorium..
I still have wishlist but kind of too expensive.
Ops forgot my narrow king anthorium and waroq as my first collections, waroq didnt thrive
Omg you have scoliosis too! I feel even more kinship now lol.
there are all best collection anthurium....
15:44 not sure, but it looks like a crystallium x clariniverium
i think the misterious dark boy must be a Anthurium chamberlainii X
Do you think that unknown plant is partially silver blush?
the crystallinum reminds me so much of the doc blocks, i wonder if they have common parentage
I think most of his anthurium’s have crystal in it
Girl, your eye makeup today SLAPS!
What are those tall white self watering pots that you are using please?
“I’d like to buy a full pap” is the beginning of such a rabbit hole… not all pap clones are created equal. Reach out to Jay Vanini, he’s the king of Papililaminum.
Do you like Anthurium villenaorum?
it's definitely one of my favorites. A bit slow, but just STUNNING! Specially when they get really big.
I think the crystallanium in crystal hope
You have to get the latest cross from Indonesia at this time madam 😊
Beautiful makeup Kaylee!!
what are the little glass tubes in some of the plants?
Omg i want a mysterious dark boi now 😂
Top 10 BENgonias. 🤣
Second pump for wall. Pumps run every other time. If one goes bad, the kids still get 1/2 their H2o ration.🤔
Love the slight humor - awesome
Your Radicans... I've replicated that effect accidentally with an over application of gibberellic acid on a Crystallinum... long story short it was neglected and sort of stalled, so I applied some to an inactive node. Unfortunately I apparently didn't get the mix quite right and every inactive node on the plant shot off a new head. Looked very similar before I separated them. About half of the separated plants did it again before calming down to fairly normal. Before TC was quite as common, and with plants that aren't easily TC'd, GA has been fairly commonly used to ramp up production by activating as many nodes as possible. Not as efficient as TC, but much quicker than grow snip, grow snip, grow....
OMG...... love the Delta Force.....want sooooo bad. Just got my first Crystallinum,Besseme, and Pallidiflorum. I'm a over 300 plant parent, getting in trouble with the hubby. Not for spending money, because it's my own, but because how many. Love watching you, im also a little familiar with the horse situation. I had a Quarter x Thoroughbred that ended up not trained. My heart goes out to you, best wishes on everything. 🥰💜🌻
I have a few Anthuriums that are Doug the same as your Rad, my Dorayaki I believe may be a Tc? But it looks like it’s three maybe four plants combined not as many as your rad. That’s crazy I was thinking of splitting but maybe not
How do I buy delta force seed/seedling from you??
So shocked you don't have AOS. Papi, Besseaee Aff etccc. But def have a niceeee collection 🖤
I have my pallidiflorum and vittarifolium next to each other on a shelf in my living room and both do equally well. They have grow lights but my humidity sits around 37% in winter and they both keep growing long, strappy leaves!
I need more plants 😂
With the hybrid/mutant Crystallinum, both silver blush and dorayaki are pure cultivars of Crystallinum so their veins can get a lot more pronounced
Hello :) your anthurium chocolate looks like magnificum x regale hybrid (or regale x mag). Imo ofcourse:)
Oh Kaylee, I'm a Georgie, I watch everything in 2x speed!
Beautiful plants!
I was looking some of them up and I can’t find them in Australia, or they’re horribly expensive. I think I need to find a (dealer) seller in Australia
Thanks to your Monstera collection of 2023, i've ordered and moss-poled my brand new monstera siltepecana ✨ truly underrated plant
Nice leafs 🍃 If they could only be more compact or even better, climb 🍃 They take big space for very few leafs 🍃 Other concern is can I keep them alive 🍃 I can't babysit plants.
I cant find forgettii dark form 😫
Just bought a very small luxurians for $45. USA. Doing very well so far.
My crystal does the same thing as your radicans! I have a bunch that are chunky and I don't think they're TC but I don't know ( most from ecquagenera ) and honestly don't care 😂💜
So awesome!!
Oof. I got so nervous when you'd start talking and those seed stalks start shaking, and they aren't even mine! 😅
Thank you for showing us! You got me into anthuriums, I started w clarinervium and flamingo flower and when I felt brave, I just got myself a crystal and he's sizing up BEAUTIFULLY! Im obsessed. Thank yooooou!
I think (from seeing pictures) that the Fairchild does curve like that often. I may be wrong
OMG! I needed this video so much! I absolutely adore Anthurium. My bank account however is feeling a slight panic coming up LOL😂
Hello, where do you get your leca, please? I would appreciate your advice! Thank you!
Awesome anthurium collection. I only have 3 and 2 are long boys. Thanks for sharing.
I just found your channel and have watched quite a few after this one. I’m just starting out I t he plant world and your videos are quite helpful, so thank you.
45:16 ace of spades cross maybe?
The Anthuirum Pallidiflorum is next to my Clarinervium my easyest Anthurium i got. Grows fast for me, no cabinet or something just normal house huminity
My anthurium crystallinum is doing the exact same thing as your radicans! It seems to be busier producing a thicker base with lots of off-shoots vs. producing leaves and flowers.
What a wonderful collection 🙂 All are beautiful, but the crystallinum (and red crystallinum) and luxurians I like the most 🙂 I don´t think it´s even possible not to like anthuriums 🙂 I enjoy this collection series very much - my plant wish list is ever more growing 😀
"There's something wrong with you if you don't like this plant!" 😂 that is tshirt material. But for real, classic Crystallinum 💚
I’ve been waiting for this video for years! 😍 love Anthurium but love YOUR anthurium especially. Always show Delta Force. If you just had it on camera for a few seconds every video that’s be great… just love seeing it!
I really like the Crystallinum. However, I have not found one like the one shown.
Do Anthurium leaves keep growing (enlarging) for as long as they are alive?
Watching this while I have an ice cold can of beer and fold a shit ton of laundry, thank you for this video Kaylee! 🙌🏽
