I have never encountered such an Angry Neighbor while trying to help with Overgrown Lawns. I was in the area and decided to surprise this family by stopping by to finish their yard. I stopped and knocked at the door but no one answers and I noticed the neighbors were having a large party.
After this, I unloaded the equipment and headed to the back yard and started cleaning it up. After the first couple stumps, my son noticed the Angry Husband next door walking towards me and he was extremely angry...

Definitely this before you go back to the neighborhood. Most local cops are willing to go out and have a conversation with their constituents. I know most of our local cops and they are more than happy to just say hi and explain the rules before things go sideways.

Where I live you are allowed to do yard work from 7AM to 9PM weekdays and 9AM to 9PM weekends. That party with the very loud music could have also contributed to the crying baby. 🙄

My Dad got to drive a bunch of Marines around. Drove them from ships to the shores of Iwo Jima and Okinawa on an LCT and he would unload and go get more, over and over and over again. Thanks for your service.

As a Marine Corps veteran... first and foremost, thank you for what you're doing. As for the neighbor, thinking veterans receive handouts.... he's probably spent every holiday with his family. Never stood watch in the rain on Christmas Day. Had Thanksgiving in the desert. We've earned whatever benefits we receive.
Also, his music is what's keeping the baby up, not your work!

I'm not a vet but, my father was a WWII Army vet who served in the South Pacific. Whatever benefits he received or any vet receives is damn well not a hand out. That guy is an entitled POS, for what he said. Our vets don't receive near the amount of help they should.
My husband is 69 years old. He still takes care of our lawn, and he won't let me help. I wonder why he doesn't help his wife??? Thank you for taking care of veterans. God bless.

I'm a veteran too, and can honestly say, I have NEVER gotten a handout from the government for anything. I would have a conversation with the police and ask them about your rights. And drop a line to the police that your concerns are about the veterans welfare. If the Karen's are this rude with you how are they treating the veteran ? I sure wouldn't help them after all their complaints!

You should have called the cops the very first time, but grinding the stumps while you knew a party was going on was probably not the best decision. The neighbors need to realize you only have so much time to *volunteer* to help as you also have a paying job. If they would just leave you alone, you could get the job finished, and the noise would end. Harassment and threats...he could have been in some trouble had you reported him.

Our Vets deserve more than we could ever pay. But the dill holes in DC would rather send Trillions to Ukraine and keep the borders wide open.

How sad that people like him have no sense of caring about their community. Anger seems to be his only outlet for whatever is bothering him and it's not just the baby crying. You handled it quite well and actually a call to the police for his and his wife's harassment seems in order. Maybe a lesson in manners by a judge would be a solution for this family

Someone needs to teach him a lesson. Burns me up him talking about veterans that way! My grandfather, father, and brother in law all served in the military during war time. They wouldn’t tolerate that disrespect. It’s amazing how you kept your cool! Keep up the good work!❤️🙏🏻

Erik I applaud what you are doing for the veteran & what you are teaching your son. By example you are giving him a sound foundation to build upon. On the other issue, many are saying call the police, I agree, but from my own experience, even though they are sworn to serve & protect, many times they don’t do squat. I won’t go in too specifics, but we had issues for 10 years with our neighbors, the guy even assaulted my husband. Deputies were called on that & other occasions & nothing ever happened to the couple. Please be careful. You do have the advantage of having everything recorded, should you & your son be threatened again. I would inform the police of the situation, have them do a written report, with each video of your encounters. Documentation is your means to stopping this couple from the harassment & threats. It’s unbelievable how jealous that man is. You are very respectful and would never do anything to provoke someone. If he continues to harass you, I would go down to the police station and ask if they could keep an eye on that neighborhood when you are working because of his behavior. You’re not only doing that family a favor working on the yard, but you are also improving the neighborhood.
They don't deserve your help to start. I too am a Marine Corp veteran and would have a discussion with the husband. On the other hand you do you . Your not breaking laws. Keep up the good work

It's very kind of you to help people in need. I've been disabled for about 16 years now and I know what it's like when you just aren't physically able to do things like yard work for yourself anymore.
Disgusting the way that monumental jerk behaved. I'd call fhe police. He threatened you and that is a definitely a crime call terroristic threat. He should be held accountable for his behavior.

You are doing a great job and don’t let people like that take advantage of you. Most townships have quiet hours but it’s not at 8 pm, usually 9 or 10, and sometimes 11 or 12 on weekends. Karen and Darren need to get off their duff and help their neighbors and work on their own yard. Thanks for helping and being so generous with your time!
Where was the music coming from? That party noise would wake a baby, not the monotonous grinding noise. Teach your baby to sleep with noise, parents. You'll be thankful later when they can sleep though all sorts of things. Who puts their baby to sleep at 8pm when it's full daylight and party going on?
I just watched your previous video... these are kind of breath-taking. Fully grown, able bodied adults getting angry that no one is doing their house chores for them for free. Your video is the embodiment of 'no good deed goes unpunished'.
