This is Kacee's first time watching reaction to the movie "Rush Hour 2 (2001)" and we are continuing our weird trend of reacting to sequels of movies that Kacee has watched the first movie of but never went on to finish the series. After an explosion at the US Embassy in Hong Kong kills two customs agents investigating currency smuggling, Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) and James Carter (Chris Tucker) search for the mastermind. Ricky Tan (John Lone), head of the Fu-Cang-Long Triad, sends out his minions to insure that Carter and Lee don't solve the case.

@@ShuffleUpandDeal32 well, let's see 👀
@@ShuffleUpandDeal32 It’s really not that black and white, smartass. Don’t act like you’re clever. Google/UA-cam’s copyright claim system is incredibly corrupt and allows users and companies (“entities”) to block or claim fully legal content when it simply does not infringe on said entity’s copyright. Even if UA-cam eventually rules in favor of the content creator, the content still starts off either blocked or siphoning revenue from the content creator until UA-cam takes its sweet time overturning the claim. This creates a glaring loophole allowing for not only a ton of abuse but arguably even theft.
Very few things in this world are as black and white as “hurr durr that’s a no-no.” Don’t be naïve.
This film has the most legendary bloopers of all time! The "damn he aint gonna be in Rush Hour 3" is probably the GOAT blooper
I'll never forget seeing that in theaters and being mad excited while also dying laughing
That’s my favorite blooper lol.
Rush Hour bloopers crack me up! I absolutely love them.
"He's not gonna be in Rush Hour 3" lol
I saw it in theatres opening day, and that was the best atmosphere Ive ever experienced at a theatre, as you said everyone was dying laughing@@GoliathWarfare
"His name is LEEEEEEE god damn it" gets me everytime 🤣
"I'll b!tch slap you back to Africa" might be Jackie's best line from this series.
"Carter, I'm not constipated anymore." is a close second
Fun fact: Don Cheadle told Director Brett Ratner that he wanted to briefly fight Jackie Chan for real without a stunt double when he got offered a brief role. Brett was concerned about what would happen if Jackie won the fight. So they wrote that scene so it would end in a tie with Jackie Chan and Don Cheadle having a special moment of friendship which is another thing that Don has always wanted to have since he's a huge Jackie fan.
He even hired and learned Cantonese from a translator in his short scene with Jackie as well. His pronunciation and his lines are in fact really good.
Wow, that was pretty cool. I didn't know that.
Another Fun Fact:
Kendrick Lamar's "Kung Fu Kenny" rap persona was based on Don Cheadle's character, and he was such a fan that he was asked to be in his DNA music video. It's took Kendrick actually texting Don to tell him that he was the inspiration for it.
One of the stuntmen in that scene was Andy Cheng who also won an award for falling of the back of a yacht but what most people don't know is that if it hadn't been for Jackie Chan, he would have died doing it. Andy revealed during an interview on "The Art of Action" podcast that Jackie risked his life to save him when the boat stunt went terribly wrong. Andy became trapped underwater beneath the moving vessel . When Jackie saw his jacket spinning near the propellers at the edge of the boat, he jumped down and layed on his stomach on the jetski platform, reached into the water, grabbed Andy's arm with his "huge"(according to Andy) hand, fought the current to pull him out while being pulled into the water himself (doubly amazing since Jackie is by all accounts...a lousy swimmer and not fond of water). Andy attributes his life to 1. Jackie being there and taking action when no one else did 2. His huge hand that was big & strong enough to grasp Andy's muscular arm without slipping & 3. Jackie's determination to hold on to him...regardless. This incident was only mention in passing by the media at the time and Jackie as far as I know, has never brought it up since. If Andy hadn't accounted it, no one would have probably known. I guess for Jackie it was just another day at work...obviously for Andy it was much more.
This replied under the wrong post...it was supposed to be under the building jump one.
@@cherylcohen5700 I always wondered about that though. Because he straight up jumped right into the worst place to land near a boat. And I always wondered if it was a well tossed dummy, or somebody actually just cheating death for a five second shot in the movie.
4:36 You were a bit distracted during this great exchange:
Lee: "You are civilian! In Hong Kong, I am Michael Jackson, you are Toto."
Carter: "You mean Tito! Toto is what we ate last night for dinner!"
🙈
FUN FACT: not a lot people know these, but the zipline scene near the end of the movie, were actually stunt doubles for Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, they even won an award for that stunt.
they talked about the stunt on corridor crew too. Think they got it in one take too bc it was so hard to set up/dangerous it had to be done in one take. Could be misremembering tho.
@@theeLonelyRedPanda yeah, but they didn't tell corrdor crew that it wasn't jackie chan, if it was a hong kong production, Jackie would have done that stunt himself.
Jackie chan does his own stunts
@@LikeLiang12 unfortunately, that's not true.
Fake news 📰
31:32 - Best part about this blooper were the background passenger extras who kept to themselves but slowly broke character and started looking and giggling at the camera and to Jackie & Chris and slowly realizing Chris Tucker's cell phone call interruption wasn't part of the scene.
It's crazy how popular the blooper line "Damn he ain't gonna be in Rush Hour 3" is. That's how you know your movie was a classic
Fun fact, that slide through the casino gate took him over 20 takes, and he hit his balls a lot😂😂
Don Cheadle's Cantonese is so good, he really put in effort to learn the lines.
Definitely the best and funniest Rush Hour!!! Jackie and Chris’s comedic timing is everything and the action is of course on point.💯🔥🔥
Nope the first one is still the best and Chris Tucker was much funnier in the first.
"No wonder you mad" gets me every time lol
😂😂 I crack up every time
It’s not even a question- it’s genuinely the best action comedy film ever love it so much lol
Their chemistry is great, outside of filming too, Jackie and Tucker are really good friends irl.
One of the best reactions I’ve seen you can hear the genuine laughter 😂
You skipped my favorite line. "You must know by good friend. Pedro Morales McGonzales Moratto Malloso Mondotos." 🤣
"Damn.. he ain't gonna be in Rush Hour 3" is probably my favorite blooper of all-time! I've used it many times in my life when I see something bad happen on tv or IRL.
One of the things that make watching you two really enjoyable is Kacee's reactions. Her laugh is really contagious.
The rare sequel that's better than the original and is nothing short of an above average piece of diversionary entertainment.
I feel they're equally good.3rd one sucks
Sister act 2 is definitely one of those rare sequels better than the 1st one
@@luutsii3rd one doesn’t suck it’s just not as good as the first two
@@WillDSwish I remember inconsistencies throughout the movie that makes me think so
@@luutsii I get you but u have to factor in they are older and Chris tucker stopped drinking
@@WillDSwish indeed
Hu li is definitely one of my favorite movie villains. Her using the chopstick and one hand to put her hair up is legendary 🔥👍🏼
One Jackie Chan film that's rarely mentioned but shouldn't be missed is "Rumble In The Bronx". It might be his USA theatrical debut, I'm not entirely sure, but it's an overlooked gem.
Of his Hong Kong movies that I haven't seen you guys mention, I recommend "Wheels on Meals" (co-starring Samo Hung), "Armour of God"- which was almost his last film back in 1986- he suffered a head injury during filming that almost killed him. And for peak 1990s Jack Chan, there's "Supercop" (featuring a young Michelle Yeoh)
All of those!! Yes!! please!!
I'd place Wheels On Meals on the top of the "Must Watch" list over the others, if just for the fight with Benny Urquidez, honestly. Followed by Armour Of God (which was actually made before Operation Condor).
And you forgot Project A, which has the famous Triple Clocktower Fall sequence.
Fking love the bond between Jackie and chris. Shame we never got more than the 3. Big shame indeed.
Jackie said last year, they are in talking stages to do a 4. It will happen or not.
They announced they're working on Rush Hour 4. So we're getting Bad Boys 4 & Rush Hour 4...
So excited! The gift that I didn't expect today!
Skipped a few great parts via edit. "Show that again" when asking for the badge reveal and Carter and Lee have a communication error about the bomb and Carter goes "no, I said SHE was the bomb" lol after they perved at her.
This movie is my favorite movies of all time just cause i had it on VHS and DVD watched it when i didnt have cable for like a whole month straight lol
Awesome sequel, and Zhang Ziyi was an excellent addition to the cast! This one was my favorite of the Rush Hour movies!! Oh and props to Kacee for the Wanda Maximoff sweater, although AOT is a solid choice too ;)
I love that you reacted to this man. I remember watching this on vhs with my family for the first time.
When Ricky Tan gets shot, Anthony dying inside knowing the twist at the end. Lol.
Real awesome reactions love that u guys paid attention and joked around and like letting the movie do its work
Also nice that you talked afterwards abt it
I recommend "Johny English"
The Rush Hour movies are fun, but nothing beats Jackie's chinese movies of the 80s-90s. Waiting for Police Story 2, guys.
*I was helping my friend move, from Seattle to Vegas, when they were filming this. The Desert Inn Hotel & Casino (Where "The Wynn" and "Encore" Casinos now stand) was already closed down, and was used as "The Red Dragon Casino". The cool thing was, the huge sign, in front, still said, "Desert Inn" on 1 side, and the other side was the huge, glorious "Red Dragon" sign we see. The UNCOOL thing was, we missed the exploding window/zip-lining" scene being filmed by, like 3 hours!!!* 😭😭😭
A couple of good Jackie Chan movies is you haven’t seen them are Shanghai Noon and its sequel Shanghai Knights also staring Owen Wilson. It’s similar action and comedy like the Rush Hour Trilogy.
I really think this is funnier than the first Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are a perfect team, theres talk of a 4th film.
Chris Tucker and Michael Jackson were actually best friends. It is why his impressions are spot on. He learned how to dance from Michael Jackson and was even part of his dance crew
I remember seeing him in the music video for Rock my world 😂
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
GOLDEN RULE 42: Never fight Jackie if there are chairs and tables everywhere.
For me this was the first "Plot twist" movie I've ever seen. Kind of like Kacee's reaction I didn't know WHAT was going on lmao. I honestly did watch this one more than the first movie lol
Zhang Ziyi really elevated the whole film.
If you want a fun and energetic Martial Arts film, let me recommend Five Deadly Venoms. It's an older Shaw Bros. film (more Chop Socky fare) that's kind of a flashy, serious despite being super goofy flick. And I'm also going to add Kid With The Golden Arm, as that's one of my favorite Shaw Bros. flicks of all time with the same team.
I always enjoy the outtake scenes at the end of his movies but this one is especially good. Cracks me up how Chris Tucker can't say "Gefilte Fish" and you can hear the person off-camera getting more and more annoyed.
I cry laughing everytime at the lady raising the knife after she understands what he means by "dead" and deep fried😂😂
You guys still doesn’t make the last episode of ip man 4 please make it happen
Along with top gun:Maverick,The Godfather part 2,toy story 2,Terminator 2:Judgement day,X-Men 2 and a few more. Rush hour 2 is one of the rare few times where the sequel is better than the original. It’s up there with those iconic films of its respective time as sequels that were better than the original.
Don't forget Spider-Man 2
I preferred the second aliens as well
“They’re having a heel-off” 😂😂😂
"His name is Lee, goddamnit!"
Chris tucker and Michael Jackson were best friends that’s probably why his impression is so spot on
23:22 most people don't notice he calls her a "U.S customs agent" when she is actually a secret service agent. Which isnt that big a deal since she turns on the triads right after lol
"I said she was da bomb." favorite line.
I also love that Jackie played a random bad dude in Bruce lee movies more than once
I was managing a theater when this came out. The studio requested a crazy percentage of the box and we almost pulled the movie.
Franchises like these that started so well make you wonder why there are only 3 Rush Hours and 11 Fast And Furiouses
Big facts
I love all the bloopers XD every movie!
Ohhh i love you're reaction guys ! Look untill the end!
I love the third one too. Rare a series gets better and ends perfectly
Yea I myself am more familiar with the 3rd one 👋 I think that movie is hilarious and tbh most memorable lol
@19:24 this part and cut off the egg rolls still crack me up.
Jackie Chan's new "Police Story" movie in 2004 is actually better, but not many people noticed
"All yall look alike" and " ill bitch slap you back to africa" is pure gold between the two of them
Love seeing new reactions to this series of films, accidentally hit the dislike so completely disregard that, but great reaction and watch the 3rd movie its also amazing!
Her stumbling on her words was pretty awesome. 😂
I love this movie. My dad loves it, and my friends loved it. The third film is hilarious as always but pretty mid!
Yes do the 3rd ! It’s still really good. Might not be as good as the first 2 but still hold it’s own
I really like your Reactions, You and TBR Schmitt are my favorit Reactionchannels. 😁👍 greetings from germany. ✌
Seen all three of three at the cinema, awesome on the big screen. Be sure to check Jackie out with Owen Wilson in the Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights flicks, enjoyable for sure.
Yes!! I use to watch this one the most ! It’s my go to classic comedy everytime ! Lmao I love it. So many classic quotes.

[ 16:38 (±) ] best dialogue ever 😂🤣😂🤣😂
All 3 Rush Hours are gold. The third one is good too. My man Hiroyuki Sanada was in the movie...
Shanghai Knights is funny with Jackie Chan
Rumble in the Bronx is my all time favorite. It has plenty of action but is also a great feel good movie.
Rumble in the bronx is a good Jackie Chan movie
Carter's I have a Dream speech was hilarious.
I once saw an interview with Jackie Chan and he said that he couldn’t find anyone to ensure him because he does all his own stunts and supposedly he trained with Bruce Lee
Jackie Chan uses a stunt double for his walking scenes.
❤❤Great reaction. Great editing! Keep up the great work! Watch number 3.
You missed watching 'Wheels on meals' and 'Winners and Sinners' Jackie Chan's finest.
Anthony totally backpedaling on his Twilight love when called out 😆. Own eet! Own your sparkling, self, Anthony~!
"Sir, I think you should calm down."
"I think you should go over there and count somethin'."
For martial arts: IDK if you guys saw any Tony Jaa stuff, but Ong Bak is a modern classic, and "The Protector" might not be Jaa's best overall movie but it definitely has his best action sequences.
Hard Boiled is also a classic Hong Kong action film for a number of reasons, though it's not strictly martial arts. Really fun watch, big recommendation.
There is three of these movies always watch the bloopers at the end of Jackie Chan movies.
Awesome reaction of my favorite reaction!!!!😊😊😊😊
I like when chris tucker tells that woman “you better watch your back” then he gets hit in the back of the head 😂
성룡과 크리스 터커 콤비는 진짜 최고인 것 같음
언제 봐도 최고야
15:11 favorite line and 21:45 favorite part
One of my fav franchise movies 🙌🏾 all 3 are great. I wasnt a 4th...rumors are buzzing that we'll get it
She out here airing out your Twilight fanboy tea 🤣😂😭...
Great reaction 🔥💯
Kacee with the Wanda Maximoff top 🔥
My favorite thing is knowing Chris Rock ended up being in Michael Jackson’s Rock My World music video
Me watching jackie chan movies with you guys is so much fun lots of laughs😂
Need to see a reaction to the 3rd one asap
CLASSIC!!!!!! I’ll forever love this movie!!!! 😂❤
Massages like that start with the customer being bathed by the masseuse, then the massage follows, then if there are some prior arrangements, it has a happy ending.
Definitely watch the 3rd one. I really enjoyed it.
Yes, definitely have her watch number three. I'm curious about her sweatshirt. Who is the Scarlett Witch? Two other great Jackie Chan movies to react to (if you haven't seen them) Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Nights. One critique I have is the closed caption. It's annoying and distracting.
best rush hour 2 reaction ever
lol the best part is with chris and jackie holding rickie tan at gun point, chris 1000000% would've covered for jackie if he murdered rickie right there for talking shit about his dad
I hate it when reaction channels skip the bloopers. So glad yall didnt!!
6:03 Exactly my thoughts the first time I watched this movie 😂
And part 4 is in pre production
My favs from jackie Chan is drunken master, rumble in the Bronx, who am I, Mr nice guy, and police story 2 with Michelle yeoh but jackie pops up in a small scene
The Twilight comment is so valid, one of the best guilty pleasures!
