I swear, ai story programs were intentionally sabotaged or something it's so frustrating. I used to get some really interesting stuff, it wouldn't always be what I wanted but it at least went somewhere. Now every command you enter makes the ai self-implode.

I think it's a combination of the AI being fed too much nonsense, and getting lobotomized for the sake of keeping hosting costs down while making sure premium has something to offer in a better AI model

could be because of the input material (the previous story) but even then it really did not like to cooperate, just elaborate slightly or outright send the story into a wall. It used to actually direct the story before into weird and wacky places

These story generators have unintentionally become surreal in their tendencies now to insert random characters and interactions which all seem highly apathetic to their own existence.

So you go back to the village. The wizard is indeed very interested in these new people. You tell the chief that he has come to see him. He asks you what you know about the people you found. NO-ONE! You tell him what you know about them and that you only found them.
The chief tells you that he will go and find the people. He sends you back to the cave where you found them.
