Really nice to see a saw cut wood smooth, no curve and with ease. As you say, let the saw do the work. Now all you need is good Bush! Thanks for your video.
Thank you. And your welcome.
Good work mate I'm impressed
Thank you for the video, you lost me at 18:30 in the video. Looking close i cant see what your explaining, and are you holding the file at a 90 °to the bar? Or do you have a slight pitch up ?, thank you and a new subscriber here.
I need to do a better video of what i was talking about. Very hard to focus in on the tooth. I do have a slight up pitch. But in those particular chains there was some things going on that I wish I could have shown better. Thanks for the subscription.
Since when does a 572 have an outboard clutch?
What is that 'whip' on your saw handle for??
We do cut to length here. It’s a 4’ measure. Saves using a tape. Much faster.
That is a very clever idea, thanks for your reply
Do you have a preference on a brand of round file?
Oregon is what l use.
Oregon is the best
I had a Husqvarna file and it broke in no time
Try Echo files, they are awesome@@thelankylogger
I thought this was going to be new unfiled chain against your filed chain.
So did I.. He keeps say new chain out of the box but then says the used and filed .. So in reality he is comparing his filled against whoever had the chain previously.. I mean look how bad a condition those chains are ..
yes there are some bad teeth on that first chain from the looks of it when you gave the close up it would be cutting like a brick after being sharpened like that too deep giving a big hook and the top plate would be at the wrong angel .
Yes it was to deep. I tried to correct that some. Thanks
Is that a 3/8 pitch chain
Yes it is.
@@thelankylogger I have a hard time sharpening my chain I just buy a new one every time lol I’m trying to learn
It is an art that takes time. My only advice is to throw away all those tools and guides and learn to file free hand. Once you master it you it is something you will have for life.
@@thelankylogger u right about that once you learn free hand it’s way better and easier and jigs just slow u down and u don’t learn nothing from it
Thank you for the video, at 18:30 in the video you lost me . Even with my glasses on I can't seem to figure out what your pointing at.
Somebody didn't know how to sharpen! Hood job!
