Hi James, would you recommend the speedcut nano on a rear handle saw or is it specifically for top handle saws? I have a Husqvarna 540i xp.

The thing that is frustrating about the Husqvarna is that the chain does not have a compatible sthil 2 in 1 sharpening tool so you have to revert to the old method of having two different tools to sharpen the chain that’s my only gripe. Next time I have to buy a bar and a chain I may choose the Oregon, just for the fact that it might be compatible with the sthil two in one sharpening tool.

Just hand file, jesus…its a 12-14” chain…that 2 in 1 is garbage…rakers need to be filed specific to the tooth…the teeth dont wear evenly and also dont need to be filed every sharpenimg…its a garbage tool..so be thankful the nanomchain isnt compatible

Myself on the MSA300 with Light 04 16" I went for the 18", on the 220C I went from 16" to Light 04 14" and on the 161T I went from 25cm to 30cm, I am not an expert but feels like I got better performance now.

How were you able to run one of these bars in a msa300? I’m trying to figure out how to run a narrower chain on this saw. ..but the bar mount on the 300 is larger studs and I don’t think any of these bars will fit?

3rd. Gen arborist here. there is no difference at all in the nano and the husky bar they are exactly the same. I have them sitting right here in front of me. there exactly the same pitch, gauge, length , etc. Husky used to have different size a few years ago. but now no difference.
