Diana gets her chance to shine litterally
No matter how many times I watch this. Someone is always cutting onions near me.
Omg me too! Dam chefs!
Cool how at the beginning of the episode, Diana sings the theme song!
Possibly one of the greatest children's cartoons ever and with this episode, possibly the greatest and deepest of them all. I don't cry and even I had tears in my eyes. Today's kids haven't got a clue.
Absolutely 💯 %
No matter how many times I have seen this, the ending always has me in tears. I think this is best voice acting by Diana's actor in all the episodes.
Marlena Samhain it’s about time Diana has an episode about her
yES
Same here.. so sad .. one of the best cartoons ever so pure and so cruel..kids trying to get home... if they ever made an actually film I'm preying it has to be actually like the cartoon less joking.. and real emotions... one of my favorite cartoons of all times... did they ever got home? I feel so sad for them... that dungeon master is so useless..
Agreed; normally Diana sounds like Dora The Explorer. This was solid.
Is it just me or do the rest of you believe that cosar is an Alien because Old DM Said it was beyond Diana's upstanding after all Aliens r different from us as we r too them I think Cosar's real home is a other planet different from ours I mean his body was made of pure energy
11:57 "Having and holding us are two different things."
Probably one of Dianna's better lines of the show!
19 dislikes? Must be vengers mob
I liked it better when you could SEE the dislikes, instead of this mystery.
But the White House channel was getting too many dislikes, so power over principles, again.
Yes they have drank the potion of haterade
Obviously agents of evil.
Definitely one of the best Non-Venger episodes of the whole series.. very moving
Another classic episode. These cartoons are actually much deeper than we thought when we were kids.
YES. This cartoon spoke 2 kids as if they were adults --- not pandering to us. I miss the 80s!!
It did what Charlie Brown & Snoopy failed to do. Bring in an audience. The Charlie Brown specials were for the adults.
No, they aren't.
Z 😊
You people are insane xd
Beautiful episode! Diana and Kosar are a lovely couple and a classic example of self-sacrifice for the greater good. Awesome how the series addresses first love, bonds of fellowship and committing yourself to causes bigger than you. I have a feeling Diana may meet Kosar again in her world too, that would be quite a twist.
That would be cool if in the finale they show them get home, & right b4 the episode ends, Diana runs into Kosar (or whatever his name is in her realm)at the amusement park soon as they arrive back. I bet only a few moments passed in their realm as opposed 2 the probable year or YEARS they've been in Dungeon Master's realm. Much like we feel like we've lived a whole lifetime in a dream, only to awake ⏰ 2 find we've only been sleeping a few hours.
Not gonna lie, during the near end of this episode was a real tear jerker.
Oh it was 😢😢😢

So true bro, so true.
I love Bobby,Eric and Uni's reactions when the demon queen reveals her face. Priceless!
I would too.
18:16 Diana Shedding tears Because of what that Horrible demon queen did to her friend
My favorite cartoon growing up. And always will be.
is it just me or is dungeon master taking a sadistic pleasure in stringing them along?
6:58 Eric: "We defeat the demon... we go home...Piece-a-cake." Bobby: And the Queen will thank us... piece a cake! 7:02 Kosar: No! The Queen IS the demon! 7:05 Eric: *gulp* ...hold the cake. XD
Noah Body Since Don Most voiced Eric.
Eric is a great tank.
The music in the closing credits always gets me.❤
I like these break-out episodes. During this run-through of the show, I've noticed her bravery and leadership qualities more. So I like that they added this softer-side, more personal touch to round out her character.
"I'm also from a faraway place, and my father is..." (fill in the blanks) Niel Degrass Tyson😂
Omg
🤣. Good one 👍🏾!!
5:10
Sheila: "Dungeon Master, who are those guys?"
Dungeon Master: "You're on your own, bitches. I'm out."
😆 🤣 😂
Diana and kosar forever💗💗💗💗
THEY HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER IN PAST LIVES...AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO IN THE FUTURE....THEY R STAR-CROSSED LOVERS,DESTINED TO B TOGETHER FOREVER....DUNGEON-MASTER DOES'NT ELABORATE TOO MUCH ON THIS...HE JUST BRIEFLY IMPLIES THINGS....THE KIND OF THINGS CHILDREN WATCHING COULD'NT POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND....PAST LIVES EXISTING IN DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS AND REALMS....NO CHILD COULD UNDERSTAND THESE THINGS TRULY...IT JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW DEEP AND MATURE THE WRITING ON THIS SHOW BECAME.....1 OF THE BEST ANIMATED SHOWS EVER....IT'S 10 TIMES BETTER THAN ALMOST EVERY AMERICAN CARTOON OR JAPANESE ANIME I'VE EVER SEEN....(with the exception of akira and films like that)....THATS THE LEVEL OF QUALITY WE'RE TALKING ABOUT....WOW
Black love
This cartoon series was really deep, for kids to watch. I mean, it's has good morale and understandings in their stories.
@@TETCOM. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I sure didn't know what reincarnation was back then when this originally aired. I probably wouldn't have believed it had it been explained to me then, seeing I was raised in & entrenched Christianity 🙄.
There aren't many happy endings on D&D but GOD DAMN when they get a win.
This episode made me tear up a little at the end. Poor Diana!
Sad episode. Love, sacrifice and loss. Poor Diana. Kosar had to sacrifice his life for his greater good. He'll live on forever in Diana's heart.
Michael Reaves wrote the best D&D episodes.
Who is that?
@@normapadilla8939 Umm, a writer.
Oh man, this one's my favorite episode. Get 'em Diana.
Diana + Kosar 4 life. Nice to hear Peter Cullen voice Kosar’s father in this episode.
Glad they showed more of diana
Has to be one of my favourite episodes, the ending with Diana destroying Syrith & 'making a choice' by switching places with Kosar enabling him to go home was a cool touch. Also, some of the music cues are a bit different to the original broadcast, I believe there was a rights issue when the show was released on DVD.
Diana merely banished Syrith back to the Abyss.
This show sure does bring back alot of memories ! !
One of my favorite episodes!
There are times they have been close to getting back home but Venger always shows up at inconvenient times and ruins everything.
too bad buddy, better get used to it. She's run off with another guy!
I don't know about anyone else. But I would be getting so wasted if I lived in that city. 1000 years of demon spawn terror ending is reason to get your party on.
:}
I'm sure the kids partied for at least a week. ;)
I love that they gave the "badass" black character an episode where she gets to be tender, gentle and vulnerable. A modern take on this episode would force her to be stoic throughout. Diana becomes a literal goddess at the end and the conclusion is *chef's kiss* Also I love the episodes where Eric and Hank are on the same wavelength-- it shows that they're friends beneath it all, however much The Realm strains their relationship.
One of few times in the cartoon when DM used the young ones real names vs their character titles
This cartoon needs a reboot
If so, it should be with a whole new set of characters and leave the legacies of these alone.
@@PungiFungi “legacy”? Not exactly a classic cartoon series to begin with.
Notice that this is the few episodes that DM references any his pupils by their actual names.
Your the 2nd person to mention that. I never noticed b4.
Presto "Hey! Don't knock it, how many 6ft tall rabbits have you seen before?"
I think Presto actually pulled a kangaroo out of his hat, distracting the guards with marsupial mayhem, good job!
"hey don't knock it, how many six foot tall rabbits have you seen before?"
umm...harvey?
Went looking to see if anyone made this comment
One of my most memorable childhood a of watching this episode.
I’m heartbroken every time I watch this episode.
Eric: Well excuuuuuse me
Me: Princess
Look up steve martin not Link
Diana is my fave character and it was about time that she got a centric episode where she got to show how brave and strong she really is. After 20 episodes being the 'comic relief/snarky commentator' she deserved a big story and she got a really great one. Def one of my favorite episodes.
9:43 I was worried that Eric was gonna end that 'Escuuuuuusssssseeeee me' with a princess.... Glad he didn't cuz I would've stopped watching
This was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before that series.
Lovely deep episode.
I like the fact that Diana didn't need to be rescued.
Diana was always my favorite, and not just because she was such a hottie. There were about three chars involved in this whole thing that had an actual personality, and she was one of them.
Snarky as hell, she was almost always the one to put Eric in his place, and I rally thought she'd be the one to find her Prince and stay.
Oh well, I guess a good long-term relationship was just as impossible for anyone in Hollywood to imagine then as it is now.
Still, glad she got 1st-billing for a change.
And now that the fan-made recreation of the final episode has been released, it turns out that Dungeon Master's prophecy that 'one among you must choose between home and the heart' has finally come true.
My Favorite episode
'I found better stuff in the bottom of a cereal box than in that dumb hat' 🤣
Probably the best non-Venger episode {although Garden of Zinn gives it a run for its money}. And certainly in the top five best eps overall.
Thanks for this My Friend!1 This is on Of My Childhood Favorite!!!
Rad
"Well, excuuuuuuse meeee!" I just love Eric! He is my favorite D&D character!
16:45 I remember that the music was different when she revealed her face when I watched it back then.
This show had great titles. Plus this one sounds like an Iron Maiden song.
Wow did Dungeon Master actually talk about reincarnation and past lives? Pretty thought provoking topic from a kids show.
80ies and 90ies shows was just so cool, best time to be a kid. why dont he pull some bikes out of that hat! i always wondered that. xD
Diana and that Kosar guy make a perfect couple❤So sad the way it ended😢
Why are they still surprised when Dungeon Master appears it of nowhere?? 🥱🤣🤣
They should just ignore his ass when he pops up & talk to ea. other as if they don't even see him, even while looking him dead in his face. I bet that would be the 1 thing that could actually "get his 🐐. " I would tall shit about him in his face & then suddenly act like I just realized he was there 😏🤭.
watching this episode today.. October 27, 1984. october 27 2021
Best 80s cartoon hands down fucking classic fucking classic
One of the best (with the original sound track) of the series!
I'm crying now 😢
A beautiful episode. It would've been nice if we could've seen them going home and returning as adults.
hume1234561 thinking same as you but time flies
How many people got chills watching the finale of this when you were kids?
9:35. We excuuuse me.
Did they just make a bloody Legend of Zelda reference?
steve martin coined the phrase said that way then Eric copied that THEN Link....
😂

This episode always makes me cry. 😢
I love Diana!
Dungeon and Dragons is a Masterpiece ❤
The nostalgia i get from these is unreal. The biggest though is Laff a Lympics...I see that and im a kid again with cereal and my blank next to my brother watching at 7am till noon :)
I think Diana has a sweetheart, even if they do not end up together, she will still love him and he will still love her.
Holy shit what an amazing episode.
Wow did DM just talk about reincarnation?
Yes. He did 😁.
Oooh, maybe. Confused by DM saying that she knew him before.
AND is such an important word that it starts the legend.
this is where David Icke got his inspiration from
Ha now why didn't I think of that.
If I had a Time Machine I’d go back and make sure this show gets a proper farewell.
This is the episode I always remembered its funny how when you grow up poc in a white country it's these episodes that stick with you
Genuinely, tears in my eyes
thank you for the compliment Cavalier..
nice plot!!
16:46 Hey she's pretty cute.........AAUUUGHHH!!
I remember this dem classic cartoons i miss
Diana the Acrobat is so sweet, sizzling & super fine in that outfit!
19:24 That look on Eric's face is hilarious 🤣
My all time favourite cartoon 🎉
Older than before but watching every episode that was made all over again. Eventually I’ll get to the Requiem episode, made to the original script but not by the original studio though. It was fan based but who cares how or by whom, that is really relevant, not. It’s been made and I’m grateful so much.
It hits me differently as a grownup.
Layers upon layers of the stuff and that’s a good thing of course!
🕊️💟🐉
4:22 Uni is cracked out 🤣🤣🤣
16:22
Dude, they didn't even show that scene. That's the second🥈 time this show did that.
Kosar should've been named Costar.
6:28 who else thought this was the best quote in the episode?
Personally I have to give it to "Back there, with Kosar, in love."
2:26 - 2:28 Was some of this music re-used for the Transformers series? This piece here sounds very similar to some of the score from that cartoon.
I loved that Diana was finally given an episode where she was more than a foil for Eric's logical yet harsh delivery of logic. Not only did she open her heart (thus experiencing the thrills and sadness of emotion), she also was pro-active and saved the day at the end. And Sheila being the one to figure out the Dungeon Masters riddle and helping Diana to save Kosar (loving him enough to let him go)
♥️
Love this!
Lot of symbolism in this one lol. Especially with the androgynous Star ⭐ Chid
This episode was deep 😢😢😢😢👍❤️
I don't think dude survived that, his molecules were dissolved and shot into the cosmos
Well Excuuuuse Me! Sounds like link cartoon Zelda.
It be nice to see them get them home
This show was prematurely canceled!!
9:35 "Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess!"
