We are building our 1st part of terrain for the Horus Heresy with these modular tiles. Hope you all enjoy 😊. Also Thank you all for helping me achieve 2000 subscribers!! You're the best, thank you all very much 😁👍
Blessed be the Algorythm for sending me your way. I'm a Kill team player who doesn't per say have a lot of space to store huge boards but I could for sure store 6 of these tiles. I may have to make some of them.
Happy to have you here and welcome 😉. I´ve played some kill team matches and I understand the issue with terrain storage. I am lucky to be able to store a lot but it has its limits. These would indeed not take much room ,so I would say go for it and happy crafting hehe. Thanks for watching 🙏
@@alrethianscraftsbattles I mean I do own a decent sized house and have a room that doubles as an office and Mancave but even still storing 1'x1' tiles is easier than storing a full size board.
@@evileyeball I know what you mean. Due to building a lot of terrain over the years, and i even got rid of a lot, storage is an issue and I found no matter the size of the hobby space, it is never big enough haha, so tiles is definitely a great way to go 👍
This is amazing mate - the craters cut into the tiles are incredible! Watching your terrain projects is a great way to chill out! 👍 thanks for the video brother!

Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoy the videos. I try to show everyone that terrain does not need to be expensive and anyone can do this without special or expensive tools, and with some basic materials you can make cool stuff hehe. Have fun crafting 😉 and thanks for watching 🙏
A lot of the games I play are on a 2x2 board and a few even use a 1x1 board which means a set of these gives me SO much variation in battlefields! Always inspiring, thank you for the tutorial!
That's cool... Then you can easily have a good variation and build only the type of tiles you need or like. Thank you very much, I am glad you liked the video 😁. Thanks for watching 😉👍.
That would be an awesome project to do during the holidays indeed. Have fun, hope you will have many fun battles on your tiles and Thank you very much for watching 😉👍.
Amazing builds, I love the added cracks and craters. I used Styroform Boards of 8 and 15 mm strength from Packaging instead of the foamboard. As a base I simply used 10 inch (255mm) Square cardbox from pizzaboxes to give it more sturdiness. So it was a complete scratch batch from otherwise discarded Items.
Thank you very much mate, glad you liked it. That is indeed a very good way to build them as well. There are so many options, it is just a case of experimenting. I always love building things out of trash, you can get great results 😉 . Thanks for watching 👍
Thank you very much mate, glad you liked them. I am happy with the result, a few things I will ne doing different with the rest...like hot glue 😅. Other then that can't wait to play some games on them. Thanks for watching man 😉👍

@@alrethianscraftsbattles I may substitute the EVA foam with floor tiles I can get them in 12" squares with adhesive backing already. Plus they would be a lot thinner. I can't dig in the craters, but I can just make them stick up some.

Thanks for another great video. I started watching for the Necromunda stuff, but this is even better. I wonder about using plywood instead for the base layer.? That would add some durability and prevent warping, yeah?
Thank you very much, glad you liked the video 😁. I will be doing more Necromunda stuff as well soon. Yes it would definitely help a lot, if it is thick enough. But I fixed the warping by adding two thick coats of PVA at the back. Thanks for watching mate 😉👍.
