Greenhouse Build (Part 3) | Is It Finally Finished? | Installing Glass | Mark's Allotment Plot
All the missing parts have now been delivered and fitted. There's only one thing left to do and that's get on with installing the glass. I've gone for the reinforced glass option so the panes are big, heavy bits of glass so I need to take my time and make sure I get this bit just right.
Is this the final piece of the greenhouse puzzle at last?

Hi Mark, now that's a great idea with the lengths plastic ridged for fitting 2 pieces of glass together. The little metal ones that you usually get are very fiddly. Brilliant video with lots of advice with great detail. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊

I like the grooved run between the panes, makes life easier than the old fashioned Z clips.
Them spring clips are really fiddly, 😂 I’m still finding the odd one in the garden where it sprung off 10ft away so always have spares.

Hi Mark - congrats on getting the frame work all square - a pain in the behind to fit the glass when its not! Will be intersting to see the diurnal temp range in the green house. Still too cool at night for my tomatoes to stay out.

Ordered up a temp gauge off Amazon which arrived today. Will be off down the garden tomorrow morning to see what the temp dropped down to over night 😰

I found lubricating the rubber and the rail with washing up liquid made the job a lot easier and quicker.

Well done it looks great, bet you can't wait to start growing in there, it will give you another dimension to your growing season, just simple thing like growing lettuce in February and starting all your plants that little bit earlier, the best of luck, I would get your self an auto vent sooner than later it will pay dividends

In America we have a rotary tool for replacing aluminum window screens. I wonder if that works in your case. Guess you don't need it now. Congratulations 🎉
