None of the guitarists here even sound remotely as good as Jeff Beck on Truth circa 1968, which is how great, powerful and innovative Beck was for almost 60 years. Crazy to think about. RIP to one of the true originals of all tile rock and pop history.
@@pallhe I think he could be a little more public about whatever it is that ails him, though I notice Page didn't ever speak much about the difficult periods of his life in the same way that many of his peers have done (notably Clapton). Page may be too proud to do so - he does seem to revel primarily in his past (especially as a source of income generation) and for whatever reason might think that humanizing himself would tarnish his prospects. Then again, what do I know... I think he could at least have appeared and said a few words about Jeff (like he did when he inducted him into the R&RHOF). No one would have thought less of him had he discussed whatever is keeping him from publicly performing. After all, Page knew Jeff Beck longer than anyone else in that theater.
@@billplaney2585 I suppose Page could be more public about it but maybe he just prefers to remember Jeff in his own private way. He obviously loves Jeff. You're right, Page doesn't like to discuss his private life. I remember him taking umbrage once at an interviewer's question about his drug use and asking him back, "Do I look like a smack addict?"
Is it just me? when it comes to Rod Im reminded of that story about “the king has no clothes”🥴

Ronnie, i love you
Fishin’ our way through this song.🦈
The Jeff Beck Moment ..........
Great vibe.
Anyone else surprised that Page isn’t there?
I certainly noticed his absence. Maybe he hasn't been playing much lately. He sounded great at the O2.

I just think - sadly - he can’t publicly cut it anymore. Will always love Jimmy Page
@@Dan-zq5wt He may also be wary of almost unrehearsed concerts.
Great version of this song, especially considering that they barely rehearsed it. Ronnie sounds a lot like Hubert Sumlin on it. Nice!
it's interesting how Ronnie stays true to the original riff. Beck played it a bit differently.
To me, that is out of respect. That's Ronnie Wood all over.
Love the contrast. Eric doesn't need to dress fancy.
He’s got nothin to prove…
After watching all of this I have even more respect for Eric and his band (including Susan and Derek).
Rod rapping!......who knew?
how stupid too!
Great when you don't get a tonne of time to rehearse. Probably a wise choice.
Is Keefe dead?He not here? Ronnnie alone.Just askin.....me I'm getting there too.
Gone to be re-embalmed for the next tour. lol
Surprised they didn't rehearse for the whole show? Weird really.
It's bad it's worse it's MEDIOCRE.
No Jimmy page led zep
12 bars.. one tune for ten thousand songs 🙄
It's attitude, stories, personalities adding their touch. Ain't nothing wrong with 12 bar.
