Bet nobody expected them to last more than 5 years when their first album came out 50 years ago. These guys literally lasted longer at this than most people spend at their careers. Most people work 30 years and then retire if they're lucky.... these guys were at it for than 50. Mad respect.

John back in the 70s played with a 12 string guitar on the regular, that was his thing and he didn’t miss a single string nor did he miss a note he touched all nots and chords the best! I think he also played with a double neck also.

I've seen the Tedeschi Trucks band in concert at the blues festival in St Petersburg Florida and met them backstage, such gracious people! I also saw Derek trucks in concert in Walnut Creek amphitheatre Raleigh NC when he was playing with the Almond brothers band when he was 12 years old! He's an amazing guitarist as well as Susan! Love Tedeschi Trucks band! Brings back damn good memories! SEMPER FI 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
