This was a great review. I have Cloud and absolutely love it. I think it’s one of the best designer fragrances out there, and my fragrance collection is large and 95% niche, so this is saying a lot! Costco has BR540 AND the extrait right now for excellent prices, so I’m about to pull the trigger, probably going for the edp version. Your accent is lovely, and perfect for fragrance reviews! Thank you for your support. I was watching big UA-cam perfume reviewers, but I got tired because I got a feeling that they advertise the same fragrances over and over again and just read the notes from descriptions. I tend to go with my tastes and to follow my nose.
What a perfect description of this fragrance. I was just telling my husband that I spray it on and hardly smell it, but then later I get whiffs of it like it’s playing peek a boo. I took a bath, and could still smell it here and there. It’s amazing!
I have been searching for a new fragrance and found BR540, it is love, all consuming love for this scent. You described the way it reacts as the day goes by, it literally smells better. This is a special scent.

Lovely review, you are so right in BR540 disappearing, I spray it on a synthetic blanket at the end of my bed and I can smell it really well. Spray it on myself and I become anosmic soon after. 😂 it really is the most beautiful scent. Your accent is so nice, greetings from Australia 😊
That's partially the reason why it is so easy to wear. There are many fragrances that I love, but their intensity can annoy me in 2-3 hours. It's never the case with the Maison Francis Kurkdjian. But BR540 is not my favorite in their collection. My N1 price goes to Gentle Fluidity Gold.
I was very disappointed by br after hearing about the hype I thought the smell would take me straight to heaven. But no. I was annoyed by the sour note in it. I smelled latex and sex. I found the extract to be much sweeter and less lataxy. Couldn’t wait for it to disappear but of course it lasted 3 days on me. It played peek a boo with you.
It is certainly a polarizing fragrance that sounds different to everybody and on everybody. I was getting latex when I had Covid. Did you compare them side by side on blotters and on your skin?

@@Dina_France I would not say it's very feminine but agree I find it more feminine than masculine too even though it's officially unisex and both men and women wear it. I am male and I wear it and I love it very much.

Which version is better for men?
I'd say NONE! They are very feminine to me. A male version of B540 is Super Cedar by Byredo: less floral, more Cedarwood like Ambroxan.

I have! It’s lovely. If you like smooth oud perfumes try Bvlagari Orom (it has been my recent obsession despite that it’s designed for men).

No! I do not know any brands that make 10 ml with a top that can be unscrewed. It would invite people to sell fake refills, I think.
