I like both, but BR540 is almost addictive for me. I absolutely love it. And a couple sprays lasts a day and a half. Funny but I go nose blind to BR540 Extrait after 10 minutes, but can smell the EDP forever!
Br540. All season. Let's not forget, that it's in the hall of fame for a reason. Everyone can hate on it now like they do layton , aventus, etc .. but doesn't hide the fact it's a masterpiece. A molecule based fragrance that works commmplletely different with one's skin composition and nose profile. It's the fragrance that got me into niche years ago. It fascinated me.

Pulled the trigger and got Angels’ Share when it finally came back in at FragranceBuy. That bottle looks like a whiskey tumbler, so nice looking. I am excited to finally get it in my growing collection 👍🏻👍🏻
I love the smell of angel share but the smell of bacarat rouge 540 just calms me down. However I do go nose blind very quik to bacarat rouge 540. Overall I would get bacarat rouge 540 because I already have Parfums de marley Oajain which smels allot like angel share.
If I had to pick one it would be Angel's Share. It's less polarizing than BR540. I would wear that one for me. But if I was to wear one for women it would be BR540 as women like that scent more. IMHO.

I know it might not be as on trend anymore, because of it's popularity, but I don't care. I wear fragrances for me and BR540 is a winner. I'd really like to try Angels Share, but wonder if it leans more masculine instead of feminine. But it could be my cozy bedtime scent. Blind buy, here I come!

Dua Fragrances sub-brand ENCOUNTER SCENTS, has a release called "Romantic for Him". Which is a "more masculine" version of Baccarat Rouge 540, NOT a "cotton candy-ish sweet" fragrance, being a bit more frutier and fresher, it's the ONLY Dua brand fragrance that I really enjoy.
I think I go anos. I too easy. I have quiet a few fragrances that after 2 minutes I can't smell. And then with something like amethyst, with one spray I can smell it somewhat, but it permeates with threes prays, but one more than four and I can't smell it.
Angels share and 540 Extrait are my two favorites right now, coming from Carlisle being my signature scent, Angle share has gotten me alot more compliments though more people notice BR.

BR540 is the only fragrance I dislike. It's a relatively divisive fragrance. It doesn't smell even slightly sweet to me, just harsh, metallic, and unpleasant.
I was so disappointed in Angeles' Share... its too similar to 1 Mil Privé and Ambre Narguile. I wish Kilian instead would just bring back Single Malt and/or Apple Brandy
I wouldn't buy either, just far far too sweet for me. BR540 is so cloying, I just want to scrub my skin to get the smell off. Honestly it's become like Sauvage now, you smell it or it's numerous clones everywhere. It's just a real bad sweet candy smell that won't leave my nostrils!
I haven’t smelt it but that’s what I hear. I have angels share myself. I think it’s a bit overrated and smells mostly like the alcohol note in the fragrance with some type of dried apple smell and cinnamon in the background.

Ash the drydown being more important, of course, than the opening, then why still scoring them both with 10 points? That makes zero sense. You should assign different weights to them, in fact maybe to all criteria, depending on how you weigh their relative importance. This is not trying to over-complicate things, it would simply better reflect how you prioritize things in your mind. That's what the weighting is for in any weighted scoring

Same here. Something about it smells dated like old school women's makeup. I was never compelled to lean in to smell more when i picked it up on a woman and it never struck me as remotely unisex. Angel's Share however I enjoy wearing and smelling on others.

Baccarat Rouge 540 is what Keith Richard's wears, who also wears the amulet of life that keeps him from dying from modern methods of man.
the only perfume that has got me compliments so far have been baccarat 540 and oud satin mood.
Both are way too sickly sweet for me.

For me, Angel Share takes the trophy. I think BR540 smells great but it very simple…for me it leans feminine.
I smell Br540 and erba pura or amber oud gold everywhere. Those are the only fragrances I smell on a regular.
