How We Built A FREE Chicken Coop / Playhouse Swing Set / Baby Chicks In The Mail

Check out our new chicken coop, my dad and Derrick got this together from an old double decker swing set, some pallet wood and the old cabinets from the farmhouse. Some new little cute chicks make their debut too!

I bought a play house for children and converted it into a chicken coop. Put in a roost (2X4), a couple nesting boxes (cat litter boxes), better roofing material, wood flakes, water and food dishes, and voila, a chicken coop. Worked quite well.

Well they only sleep in there and with all the roost in the top everyone has a spot. I don’t see how it’s not enough room
