Good video. I have SJG 2nd ed with the GTS rules. I haven't set it yup yet (limited play space) but I don't plan to get Utah. A bit rich for my blood. If they put a bagged version on sale sometime in the future, maybe.
I'm aiming to try CSS before GTS. Think GMT's "Battle for Normandy" covers the battle at a similar scale, but it's long out of print. Saying that, think there's a reprint due to come out by the end of the year...
I have Battle for Normany thats a battalion level game where this is a company level game. If Battle for Normandy had maps at this scale it would be 40 foot by 30 foot. 😉
@@jeremyboughtono2 ah, indeed it is, thanks for correction. I don't think I'll play a full campaign game of TGD:GJS, don't really have enough space to set it all up🤔
And 6th Airborne. This is the only Normandy game I know of that actually researched 6th Airborne rather than just ignoring it as a pointless sideshow. But it still suffers from allowing the Germans to concentrate on 6AB early. Historically they couldn't and wouldn't have done that. And for god's sake put the camera on a stand.
I am not sure putting the camera on a stand will work for such a huge map. When I start the AAR's I will be focusing on specific parts of the map. This could be done by editing but this channel is a side show to my hobby nothing more.

@@przemekbozek 6ft x 4ft could do it. There are a lot of smaller scenarios.TBH they only recomend the campaign for team play. 🤪
@@jeremyboughtono2 I can see why - there isn't much free space in the box...
