Interesting, this is how I’ve always intuitively done rear quarter intercepts without a pre established game plan with gates and such, I just never knew why it worked so consistently.
Same here, I have often eyeballed something similar with the Tomcat. I hope this explanation makes the manoeuvre more clear and adaptable to different fighters.
Just one suggestion: you're talking into your mic like we're your girlfriend. Im not suggesting you scream and yell into the mic, but speak a little more forcefully please.
@@FlyAndWire yeah, that's the problem. You are talking to people like you who already understand the subject. You need to talk so people who DON'T have your level of understanding can follow. Id love to do one to show you the difference, but I haven't a computer that can run dcs, let alone do vids on.

Not sure what the other comments are on about. Your voice sounds fine and the volume is good. This is massively better than an ai voice over.
sorry, ai voice was more upbeat, clear and to the point. The saga continues. Was there a poll on the subject?

It's much harder to hear what this to close to mic, whispering narrator is saying than AI that was used before...
You know there's a caption/subtitles option on youtube you can enable if you have hearing issues?

Copy that, I'll tell Ghostdog (the narrator) to stop flirting with my audience :P
Well thats made a simple thing more difficult to understand.
I wish only proper planned lessons with clear visual aids were made by just 1 yt'pro'.
Uh? What is hard to understand here? It all comes down to assessing drift, synching to a certain ATA, and going pure when AoB > ~30°.
