Awesome seeing you guys bonding like this, definitely spend time with my son doing the same stuff .. we used to be into mx had him riding by age 5 but slowed into car audio nowadays !! Great demo and testing .. keep up the great work y'all !!
@@ChrisRichardson-v6c Thanks Chris! That’s a very encouraging comment! Yes, sharing the same interests/hobbies with the kids is awesome! I’m glad to hear that you and your Son are doing the same!!
If you want high spl, tune the box to around 40hz. It will burp loud, but not be musical. Some guys will modify the port so they have 2 tunes. For instance, having two 10" ports for a high tune, then plug one of them to get the low tune. If spl scores matter to you.
@@JasonWW2000 SPL matters a little bit, just like hair tricks matter a little bit. Being awesome on music is really what we’re after the most! Thanks Jason!
I love these vids and loving the build. Keep em coming. Also, you ever gonna test that Harmony HA-A800.1 ? You know you want to 😅. Btw they are half ohm stable.
@@Special.Purpose.Weapon Thanks WD! Yes, I need to go ahead and get the 800 model. If so, I may need to try 1/2 ohm, or dynamic at 1/2 at least. Thanks again!
@@namegoesherenone6449 it was .1 louder than with the other SFB 8K. It was quieter than the JP53 overall, but I think it was louder than the JP53 at 44hz. I’ll check with Skyler on that. That’s part of the problem with what the 53 did. We liked it at first, but then started realizing how it affected the music.
@ the lower frequencies were louder, but music didn’t sound as good. It’s not a bad amp, but it seems to shine on the lows. We even play a lot of lows, but it wanted to play too low for us. It would probably be great for people that want to do a “windy” build.
Nice
Great stuff
Keep on doing what you are doing, I like the content

@ you can see me in the video where I’m cutting the wood. It was the first or 2nd video of the build series.
