நிறைய டாக்டர்கள் இதேபோல் புலம்பிக்கொண்டு தான் இருக்கிறார்கள். நான் சந்தித்த ஒரு டாக்டர் நான் ஏன் இந்த வேலைக்கு வந்தேன் என்று இப்போது வருத்தப்படுகிறேன். என்றார். எப்போது பார்த்தாலும் நோயாளிகளைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டு புண்களைக் கழுவிக்கொண்டு இருக்கவேண்டும் என்றார். ஒரு ஜோதிடர் படிப்பதற்கு இந்த அளவு செலவு செய்ததில்லை. படிப்பதற்கான காலமும் குறைவு தான். ஆனால் ஒரு கன்ஸல்டேஷனுக்கு குறைந்தது 500 ரூபாயாவது வாங்குகிறார்கள். ஒரு கிளினிக் செட் பண்ணுவதற்கு வேண்டிய உபகரணங்கள் கூட தேவையில்லை. 500 ரூபாய் 1000ரூபாய் என்று இவர்கள் வாங்குவதற்கு கணக்கே இல்லை. டாக்டர் ஆகவேண்டும் என்ற கனவுகளில் வாழ்க்கையைத் தொலத்தவர்கள் நிறைய பேர் உண்டு.

Doctors struggle are quite evident but earning money depends on the individuals. PG Doctors can work at Medical College and can provide services at many places as consultant. Many aspiring, hard working and few years experienced PG Doctors are earning average income of Rs.3 to 4 lakhs per month. Many of close circle fresh Doctors earns minimum of Rs.3 lakhs per month by working in multiple places. Opportunities and respect still there for Doctors profession. Honestly, IT field has no match to Medical profession. Medical professionals without break can work even after 60 years.

Do locum job, night shift, develop contacts with hospital HR person, friendly with staff to get tip of emergency surgical, ortho etc. Find your opportunities. I know a Girl makes Rs.4 lakh in a month. She is not even completed SR ships. She works in sub-urban area of Karnataka.

It's not about senior doctors/ junior doctors, it is all about their qualification, a doctor who studies in a private college has to spend a minimum of 8 years and 60 lakhs to earn a salary of 1 lakh, but that's not the case with Advocates and Auditors (Yes, life of CA, CS & CMA aspirants is uncertain, but only untill they complete the course)

Many of my doctor friends are worrying abt their decision now. It will be soo stressful and no work life balance will be there.There won't be even salary hike like other fields. It's just a fantasy of peers that it's a royal job..but reality hits completely different. Majority of mbbs graduates lost their peace and crying in the corner for their wrong decision. If u get to know the pay for first generation doctors u'll understand..Most of them are paid under 30k..There are many other extraordinary fields like IT in which u can get paid over 50L to 1C per annum as a fresher itself..
