I explain in detail what each plant from existing international worlds does from the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. Hope you learned something new! I'm not done with the "Other Plants", I'm just doing this because MANY of you requested it!

My first thoughts when seeing Roar Grass was "oh a silly little alternative to Chomper how nice" until he pulled out the 1500 DAMAGE LANE-WIDE BEAM

Honestly, morning glory seems like it could've been a very cool plant to have in the international version, as it fits with the world and provides a counter to the shockwaves of the gargs. Plus, it's rare to see plants that cost more than 300 sun, so that's another interesting aspect about the plant.
As for timid thorns, i always thought it was some sort of medusa inspired plant from a roman event, so it's surprising to see that it's actually a Jurassic marsh plant

moment of silence for Primal Rafflesia's ORIGINAL description which, in english, roughly would've been equivalent to "Primal Rafflesia--what the?!", as if the game itself had no idea what it was looking at. gone from the text data, but never gone from our hearts...
I like how they picked the most obscure and random plant to make a primal version of, nothing iconic like the chomper for example.
If I remember correctly it's not even a plant that was in any popular games before PVZ2C. They just looked at this random plant they made and decided to make it better, but also a different plant in a different world..

@@wormsign2637I personally think the primal version is great compared to whatever the modern one is, plus rafflesia is a popular and well known flower in east and south east Asia, so it could potentially be more iconic for those who play the Chinese version
Ironically, in PVZ GW2 there's a Chomper dinosaur statue in the Time Park map, and yet, chomper was not present in Jurassic Marsh
actually when i first saw timid thorns in the wiki i thought it kinda stunk, so seeing its actually a free mini defensive plant it isnt too bad

Primal Peashooter and Peashooter are 2 sides of the same coin.
Primal Peashooter deals higher damage per shot, does knockback, but lower dps.
While Peashooter deals lower damage per shot, doesn't knockback, but higher dps because of the faster attack speed.
Rafflesia doesn't have advantages nor unique gimmicks like Primal does just retards zombies just like himself lmao

Sugarcane Master feels so out of place in Jurassic Marsh. He feels more at home in a world like Kong Fu, and it makes me wonder if he was a scrapped Plant from that world that the devs didn’t want to completely discard.
I feel like he should have a hammer out of stone.
Well, knowing talkweb, they put cherry bomb in Ancient Egypt and Threepeater in wild west. Why? Don't know.
I think its cool when other plants are mentioned in a plants bio, like with Dino-Roar Grass, who has a bio cameo of Morning Glory
Dinonip is ass sadly… But MC Glory is somewhat decent somehow.

dinonips chomper, it one shots and slowing zombies actually helps to consider!, The level five is not as crazy as your statement.

sugarcane has some of the best animations in the entirety of pvz2's lineup. it's just a shame that he's so boring mechanically

Also weird thing, im pretty sure the jackfruit's seeds arent seeds, and what i mean is that the "seeds" are supposed to be actual meat of the fruit, the actual seed is a sort of light brown/orange thats inside the yellow meat of the fruit
5:30 There is actually a funny glitch where jackfruit can be used with escape root to plant normal plants on Pirate Sea's water lanes.
I tried that and it didn't work.

The fact that Primal Rafflesia looks and is animated better than the newer PvZ2 plants we’re getting really says a lot about the animation quality on the new plants

timid thorn is (i think) the shortest plant overanalyzation, only lasting 74 seconds! starting at 11:26 and ending at 12:40!!!

He is the only primal plant that does not have his modern version found in Player's House.
Moreover, this is the only primal plant that has a different ability from it's common version
His old Almanac entry was a play on the phrase "搞个毛啦!" (what's wrong with this!) as 毛 also means fur, referencing on how the plant has lots of fur being a primal plant. (Unsourced)

@@tatsumakivee4201 for example, primal sunflower makes more sun and costs as much as they make, and even though primal peashooter costs 75 more, it has a chance to knock back or stall. And primal potato mine is just better cherry bomb, except for that it is not instant
@@FunnyMan69-ci9yk I think the biggest selling point is it's ability to tank insta-kills, like Gargs, All-Star tackles, etc, and with the 5 second recharge, as long as you got a strong sun production or bank, you can effectively stall said insta-kill zombies for a price that's pretty accessible considering how it's 50 sun meta

I don't know if it's still in the game, but I remember that in last stand, you could plant timid thorn freely unlike other 0 cost plants. I would cover every tile without plants and create a big wall of free mini wall nuts

On the topic of Morning Glory, I don't remember him always freezing up when absorbing a sound wave. I'm pretty sure it broke after an update some time ago.

fact of dino roar grassHe can be considered a cheaper Chomper with slower recharge, which is also not completely vulnerable. He can also tank attacks to some extent and swallow his eggs.
He is however, extremely important in Jurassic Marsh due to his Plant Food being the only way to prevent dinosaur stampedes from T. Rex eggs destroying a lot of plants.
One of his most important abilities is to eat eggs before they can cause further trouble. Even at level 1, a single Dino-Roar Grass will instantly destroy an egg. If you do not have enough Puzzle Pieces to upgrade him into level 2 or above, it is not recommended to use him in Hard Mode outside Jurassic Marsh, because he cannot eat a level 2 or above zombies instantly, unlike Toadstool.
Do a tier list video of all the plants you’ve reviewed same for zombies I think it would be a cool idea

Something about jackfruit's nature really captivates me, It's like he's so ugly he's awesome. In comparison with other plants, that seem very aware of what they're doing (At least that's how I see it), I imagine that Jackfruit is more of an animal, a crature driven by instincts rather than an actual sentient plant.
Rafflesia is proof that evolution can go backwards.

I would say he's quite balanced, heck maybe a bit weak mainly because the seeds barely have hp, but he's not a bad plant.

I think for a plant food, timid thorn could gain metal spikes/tips that, when it is stepped on, will be shot out in 8 directions, also adds 500 hp

an ahother fact He cannot be selected in Sky City, since technically he would just fly off the ship and can't hit anything.
If he is used in Big Wave Beach, the seed may land in water and act as if it was in land, hovering over the water.
The same happens if a seed lands on an ice floe.
