Dr Frita I had a kidney ultrasound and was told that my right kidney had an obstruction. I feel fine though. Do some people have an obstruction of one kidney and can be perfectly fine?
Also, does this mean that the obstructed kidney isn’t functioning or only partially functioning? My doctor didn’t explain this to me at all and I wanted some clarity on it …

Bell peppers, garlic, onion, vegetable and tuna have done wonders for me along with consuming a lot of water (with lemon juice) and three cups of coffee per day. I stopped eating breakfast, except for drinking a 24ounce glass of water with lemon juice in it and a cup of coffee. My first meal is lunch and everyday I ate the same thing - an omelet with lots of onions, bell peppers and garlic and canned tuna. Also, I drastically reduced sodium intake as well as drastically reducing my use of ketchup. After 3 months of doing that, my doctor ordered a 24-hour urine collection as well as blood works. The results are:
    ** eGFR went from 56 to 70
** creatinine back within the normal range
** No more protein in the urine
    ** Normal calcium levels
My Nephrologist called to give me the results and said, whatever I am doing I am to continue doing it.

@@teddyteddy7505 It's interesting that your post shows up just a day after I had a doctor's visit (yesterday). As usual, she ordered blood works and urine collection to check if my numbers remain the same as the last report. The arrangement I have with my doctors is that if the news is not too great, they must call within 24 hours. If the news is great, then a few days later is OK to call. So, if the numbers are the same or have further improved, I do not expect to hear from her until around Friday or Monday.
Of the vegetables that I eat, most I consume uncooked, except when I put the onion and garlic in my omelet mix. Even cabbage I eat raw. The key, I believe, is that I made huge and drastic changes to the foods I consume. It was not easy because I was a heavy eater. There was no hour on the clock that I would hesitate to eat a full meal - even 3 a.m. in the vee morning hours. The scare of dialysis saw me (painstakingly) making a complete reversal of my poor eating habits. I must confess that the temptation to go back to my old eating ways is there, but I focus and resist.

Thank you sincerely for your info, my kidneys began failing March of 2024 which sent to the ER. My creatinine was 14, B. U. N. 79+, gfr 3. My nephrologist is magnificent she would not stop until she knew what put me in kidney failure. I was admitted to hospital where she began to hydrate me through IV that began to shift my numbers in a positive direction, I increased my fluids began eating a proper ckd diet. Creatinine level 2.77, B.U.N. 23, gfr up to 18. I have incorporated a cup of lemon and ginger water each day, juicing the necessary foods for ckd. My kidney disease has led to an underlying health issue because I’m not diabetic nor hypertensive so she couldn’t understand until she seen the amount of protein in my blood 15000+ I was sent to a hematologist undergone a bone marrow biopsy awaiting results possibly myeloma, as Dr. Frita mentioned I did smell an increase amount of ammonium where it was burning my eyes, sleeping throughout the day low energy. I’m in a positive energy don’t allow no one in my circle with negative energy. Thank you for your supportive information.❤

I was injured at the onset of covid. The injury both depressed and debilitated me. In addition to the injury my body didn't feel "correct". My once borderline high bp had increased exponentially. I requested but was denied a referral and testing. I read and/or watched any/everything I could find, including your videos. Simultaneously, I campaigned at the highest administration level. I got the doctor, referrals and testing I sought. My GFR was 70 and I had protenouria. After research, review and discussion of my labs (which were otherwise textbook) with the head of the department, I refused the recommended medications. Instead, I returned to the healthy lifestyle I had pre-injury incorporating a kidney healthy diet and water aerobics in place of the 1-3 miles walked daily pre-injury I asked the doctor to repeat all labs in 90 days. My GFR is now 80, proteinuria gone and my labs remain textbook. My bad cholesterol is down. My good up. I've lost 35 of the pounds I gained. Additionally, my bp medication has been reduced from 5mg to 2.5. Thank you so much for your videos. I've shared. For those facing what I did, please : (1) do your research, (2) ask questions and challenge answers, (3) review your labs, (4) make the lifestyle choices and (5) KEEP WATCHING DR. FRITA. For the 1st time since my injury I feel like I'm back in the driver's seat.

Thanks Dr Frita i use to do keto for 15 months and stopped. now im experiencing minimal signs of wanting to urinate most of the time i know i have to, but my body doesn’t give me the feeling of having to go pee so i think keto was either a bad choice to start or it was a bad choice to stop. i think i may be experiencing minimal kidney problems i also drink coffee everyday and i researched that it can cause kidney failure so i stopped as of today

I feel it's even better to eat it raw and although I tear I do it, now I use some greek yogurt to get it down to prevent problems. I also have tumeric everyday and ginger. It's too hard for me to eat it so I boil it to drink it as a tea. I avoid sugar to clean my body. I feel so much better and educating myself. I feel so bad for those who died and didn't have this guidance

I’m a Christian and I think many other Christians make a great error wearing, hanging and worshipping a graven image. The Roman Catholic religion is fully entrenched in idolatry. We have been warned by God, yet we disobey his words. EXODUS 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”

Although Dr. Frita is a great communicator and very intelligent, the emphasis on her Christian faith in her professional videos can cause controversy regarding the objectivity and appropriateness of her information. scientific message.

Egg yolks should be in every diet in moderation as they have most of the nutrients in an egg. You should update the video once you do some research on it. Add some probiotics while your at it. Love your video!
