      I Do not see the oil. It is a little dry.

      Trini’s literally pure oil in their oil down and it doesn’t have any colour because they don’t use turmeric In it which is basically part of the flavor. When on my trini friend made oil down I was like what the hell is this ? This is what we call steam down. Steam down is not oil down. We does make steam down to but what the trini’s are making is steam down. Both of us are chefs so we made our version for this Jamaican lady that had no clue what oilwas. . She ate both of them and said the Grenadian version is more flavorful.
