why do my files only transfer halfway to my usb drive using my phone?

First of all, it is necessary to understand something.
We have two main memory card file systems: FAT32 and NTFS.
The FAT32 file system cannot store individual files larger than 4 GB, while the NTFS file system can and read and write speeds of NTFS are also faster than that of FAT32.
But Android doesn't support NTFS file system.
If the USB drive, SD card or external HD is formatted as NTFS, you need to format it to FAT32 and you can use them without any problems on your Android smartphone.
