      Yeah, you want to raise your rate up until your close rate goes down to like 80%. I think it is.

    • @bm1588
      @bm1588 4 місяці тому +3

      really it could be any close rate if you know how to generate more leads. If raising your price by 25% decreases your close rate from like 80% to 60% you are still making the same amount of money because you are charging more. You may even make more money because you have less labor.

    Hi Puff.
    I don't know if you'll see this, but I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
    I've been wanting to set up a window cleaning business for a long time but couldn't afford a van or a truck for the ladder.
    I had all but given up home until 2 months ago when I saw your little giant ladder sitting in the back seat of your car, and at that moment, my life changed forever.
    Within days, I had ordered a little giant and a small water fed pole system and flyers to post. I now have 10 regular customers and a school.
    I live in England, and we dont get paid half as much as you guys do, but I finally have a goal, I finally have a true north to aim for.
    So thank you. Thank you!
    And God bless you, Sir.

    Been wanting to start a pressure washing company for a while now but don't have the money to get the equipment I'd like so I decided to look into window cleaning as it has a lower entry point to get started and help save money for what I want. After a few vids, the YT algorithm threw this at me on a day I happened to have the time to watch in one go. The energy and attitude immediately motivated me and I ordered some equipment from WCR. Almost immediately scored a biweekly commercial job. Just got my business cards made and am making time to pitch to other businesses this week. Hope you know how much this info helps people. I think it’s fine to knock neighbors doors of a house that you’ve already cleaned, but let’s be honest 99% of people (at least where I live) don’t want a stranger knocking on their door trying to sell them on something. With Facebook, door hangers, and google I think that there are much more effective ways of finding potential clients. To each their own though; if it works then it works 🤙

    a simple question brother, why let you invest all your time making window cleaning for residential homes and not for commercial premises and commercial shops? Are commercial premises and shopping centers not bringing in a lot of money?

    • @Puffwindowcleaning

      There’s a lot more money in residential. There’s also big money in larger commercial jobs, but these tend to be harder to come by. As far as store front commercial you’re competing against a lot of people who will do the job for bottom dollar. That being said you can still make a ton of money doing commercial store front.

Don’t have time to show them all in one video.. working in a tight spot like that with the shrubs what I find helpful is using a shorter pole , like a mini maykker your find a smaller pole workers better especially when you’re up on a porch or on a one story house with low elevation windows, 🪟
