Coleton, holy smokes. 10 month old Model 3 owner here. I already had some "Absolute" rinse less wash and only bought the towels, Adam's and the glass cleaner. I followed your technique and I am blown away by the results. Never have I had a windshield this clean and I have driven for 38 years. Thanks so much!

Bro, this totally worked on my 2018 Tesla Model 3, it is still off gassing and I could for the life of me never figure out how to get rid of the haze, I would try all different glass cleaners and it just moves it around.

blimey...I've been driving since 94, and have never known this, have always been using the wrong products thanks for this video...
on m new Atto 3 I'm gonna be using this technique to clean the windows, even on the panaromic sun roof...especially thw main windscreen, WOW that was amazing how cleann that front window was afterwards.

Good video, but I'm confused on a point.
You said that the Adam's Brilliant Glaze has a lot of solvents in it, and is to be used on the inside of the windshield.
However, you ALSO said that ammonia and other solvents aren't good for tinted windows...
So, my question is this: Is the Adam's Brilliant Glaze safe to use on tinted windows?
If not, what would you then recommend?
Ammonia is unsafe for tint. Alcohol (IPA) removes any slickness. Brilliant glaze is fine on tint
Thank you thank you thank you! Got a model 3 couple months ago, first new car and glass has been killing me!! I finally broke down and tried IPA last week and of course it made it worse, lint like crazy. At least I finally know what to do now, thank you so much!!
Incredibly well done! I've seen lots of overlap with out of spec main channels, but this video alone is worth subscribing here. I have a 10 month old model 3 in the same color/interior and I've been struggling with haze now that it's the season to use the heater and defrost.

Interesting technique with Adam’s glaze, I’ll have to try that. For exterior windows I’ve found a razor blade the best to remove gunk and Brillo pad to remove water spots. Don’t use Brillo pad on mirrors! Ceramic coating does wonders on windshields.
What do you use for conditioning the door seals to keep them from freezing to the door jam, and for extending the seals’ lifetime?

So I bought everything here and have cleaned the glass on all my cars and it's been great!
2 things:
1. Regardless on how many times I used a dry rag to finish, always feel like I need an extra buff the next day or 2
2. After that next buff it looks amazing but how often does everyone do this? I do notice the streaks starting to come back sooner than I would expect.
Sounds like you are not fully getting the BG off, it can take a few “wet” wipes to get off depending on how much BG was used and how long it sits

Video we’ve been waiting for. I actually had to have Tesla come out clean the glass in front of the autopilot cameras because they were blurry from all the off gassing.
My outside screen almost looks like it’s got a wax layer on the outside. I’m tried absolutely everything and can’t get rid of it. It looks like a layer of the windscreen is damaged. It’s been the same since day one but Tesla wouldn’t swap it. Few others with the same issue

Can you substitute optimum no-rinse instead of Adams waterless wash, as the lubricant in the glass cleaner, and as the rinse to remove the Adams glaze?

Guys, 3:1 water to white vinegar solution sprayed onto a microfiber towel... Wipe well, then follow with another clean microfiber towel. Easy peezy.
I got Norwex brand purple color glass cleaning cloths. The purple color make it easy for me to remember what they are used for. 10:30

Curious to know, will that Adam's polish stain any plastics if it gets on them. I can see people (and myself) getting this in spots it isn't meant to be.

Just FYI I was unable to purchase CARPRO Clarify Streak Free Car Window Cleaner in California due to it not meeting CARB regulations for VOC's.

Coleton😀 I know that out of spec has or had Hyundai ionic 5, which is what I have. Two questions for you, I bought a foam canon, it a simoniz unit garden hose only, worked great, however my water here is quite hard ( a lot of calcium in it , leaves water spots ) can I just use adams waterless wash to remove the water spots or do you have a better system? Second question how do I clean the heads up display without ruining it. Thanks for all the great info on your site. For your information I live in Oliver British Columbia Canada. How well does a Simple Green dilution work to clean the interior windows? It’s also a solvent and generally safe for many surfaces.
Wish there was a cleaner that prevented and filled in micro windshield nicks. My new Tesla with not even 200 miles has one right at eye level that lights up when driving into the Sun.

How do you reach the Cybertruck forward edges of the window? Your methods shown here seem to work well, but I cannot reach the forward 4-5" of window by hand. Is there some micro-fiber squeegee type tool with a handle that enables one to reach this distant and tight spot?
I didn’t see the sponge in your list…will a microfiber sponge work? Also, is the glass cleaner necessary if you follow up with waterless wash… thanks!
Thank you for making this video! Is it safe to use Brilliant Glaze on the outside? I have an Ioniq 6 and EV6, and both have extremely heavy contamination from new on the outside of the windshield. When it rains at night, I could barley see through the streaking from the wipers. RainX wipe-on/buff-off was the only thing that took care of this, but I want to return and do it correctly.
I did the 50/50 blend of Waterless Wash and Clarify and used it with the correct cloth to try to remove water stains from my driver's side window. (The water in my area is very hard and the stains are mostly on the outside.) I followed the steps for doing both the inside and outside. When I finished, the water stains were still there as though I'd done nothing. Am I supposed to use Adam's Brilliant Glaze first? I am still waiting for it to arrive. Thanks.
UPDATE: The Brilliant Glaze arrived today. I tried it per instructions to the same window. Absolutely no help. All the water spot are still there. What am I doing wrong? I think perhaps I'm in the wrong forum. Now I see better that this video is for removing hazing and streaks. Mine is a water spot issue. So I used 30% vinegar and carefully wiped it over the window and avoiding any area outside the glass. Waited a minute, then wiped it with a new clean cloth and the 50/50 WW/Clarify spray. The spots are gone! So at least I figured that much out :)

Awesome video. Question… should you use this cleaning method prior to tinting your windows including the front windshield. The tint technician of course will also add more chemicals to the window prior to tinting. Lastly, can you ceramic cost after this? Just curious on your professional opinion. Thank you
hes kinda abusing the glaze. the glaze has a solvent inside which is good for fatty deposits. The slickness comes from the glazing itself which isnt actually much use for the cleaniness and does add shine. I dont think it matters THAT much but it could affect the adherence of the tint. Tinting companies would usually use a degreaser etc on the window beforehand. The reason why the glaze method can be better is because it forms a "dust" after it dries which is very easy to wipe off. Degreaser will get everywhere, stain your surrounding trim etc. Also you need to have a certain amount of contact for the degreaser to do its work, so if you spray it on and it drips off it cant do work. Waterspot removers have a similar issue. So this product solves this.... its really not its purpose but its a fairly genuis (ab)use for it.
Quick question - Can I apply AvalonKing Armor Shield IX over the exterior glass after it's been treated with the Adam's Glaze? The Amor Shield makes it easy to clean off road grim off the windshield and stays on a very long time.

I was hoping for an old-school demo using newspaper to wipe off regular water.
The real challenge is getting crystal clear glass in direct low sunlight.
When you said off gassing, I thought this video was going another direction. My gf is always farting in the car and the windshield is always foggy smh
