Thank you. Informative. Will there be a video about the EasySolar work? Many people have solar panels now. What is better and more reliable EasySolar or MultiPlus II GX+MC4 controler?
The EasySolar II GX is simply all-in-one product (inverter+MPPT+GX), meaning you have to use what its built into it, but its also easier to install. This guy does a nice review on it ua-cam.com/video/ssw1NGxENYQ/v-deo.html Whereas the MultiPlus II amzn.to/3MmDZJw + Cerbo GX amzn.to/3MrBWDH + MPPT amzn.to/4dUhRll, are individual parts that gives you the modularity to build whatever custom setup you want, but requires more knowledge to put together. NOTE: Its always better to buy the Cerbo GX as a standalone device, instead of the built-in version found in the EasySolar II GX or MultiPlus II GX www.victronenergy.com/inverters-chargers/multiplus-ii-gx. The reason being that it has a more powerful processor and more ports. The one Victron technician told me that the built in -GX is actually the older Venus GX amzn.to/3WZpPCL , just without the casing. While the the Cerbo GX amzn.to/3MrBWDH (which as i said is newer and faster). You must never buy the Venus GX even if its cheaper. It gets very hot and struggles to keep up with processing the data. Hope that helps
Does the Soc values still work when charge and discharge happens in isolation to the Multiplus. Like in a van with dcdc rather then shore power charging.
Hi! I have Victron Multiplus II 48V - 5000VA - 70A + Cerbo GX. Please advise how can I use gasoline 6 kWt generator. Once battery is low and blackout, how can I charge battery with generator? Do I have to change battery settings (SoC, DoD etc) every single time I want to charge lifepo3 battery with generator?
@@BluePowerPro AC-IN1 is connected to electrical grid. I am always on-grid but blackouts are very often. If blackout is very long, I want to charge batteries with generator. As for now, no solar, only UPS needed. Maybe later in future I'll add solar panel, not now.

Are you off grid with the generator connected to AC-IN1, or is your AC-IN1 connected to the electrical grid?
