The scene showing all the superheros dying to the robots gives me goosebumps. That's a damn good scene
when
CJ smith Don't remember the time, but its on the secret computer showing the heroes and the robots prototypes, which hero dies and which robot dies to which hero. The music helps set the scene real well.
fam i just looked up the heroes and their deaths. It made me really upset. I kept saying to myself, "How could heroes with their powers die to those robots(I looked up the robots' capabilities as well as the heroes)?" I know its a cartoon but maaaannn. They shouldn't have died.
CJ smith True, true, but it's a movie, and no movie is without a sin :)
lol
I love how, when Dash starts running on water, there's just silence and a sin reduction.
Like, you don't even need to say it. -1 Sin.
Issun McGoodmage Hell yeah, these guys get it. This movie rocks.
Issun McGoodmage My thoughts exactly! I knew it had to happen before they even got to that part!
Issun McGoodmage the 100 Mile Dash is the best part of the movie
That was legendary!
Omegeddon Was that a fucking pun?
The only reason they didn't include the scene with Frozone and his wife is because they would've had to have taken off ALL the sins XD
TheRonanT YES!
Exactly!!
TheRonanT LOL. CinemaSins, tell us this is true. XD
Omg yes
TheRonanT wait why?
How DARE you not remove sins for Edna Mode, or for "where is my super suit"
*HOW DARE YOU*
Are you Greta Thunberg?
BigManCharlie
Haha 😆 yes that is true
I see you angled some with a hair trigger.
Oh damn i just came back to this comment from a year ago and it has 1.6k likes wtf
Its a meme, why would they
No sins removed for "Where is my super suit"?
Athavan Rajasingham they would have removed every single sin if that was the case
Athavan Rajasingham If he included it he would have to removed infinity sins.
Athavan Rajasingham what is that a reference to? black people in general? or samuel l jackson? is it a reference to one of his movies in particular
Mngalahad Yes, it's the famous line Samuel L Jackson used in Age of Ultron when confessing his love of fried twinkies in a emotional speech to the Hunk.
Athavan Rajasingham that scene is golden
The only thing wrong with The Incredibles is the fact that it took 14 years to make the sequel.
The wait was really worth it. The sequel has received very good reviews. It has a good chance to be up for an Oscar hopefully.
Agreed
honestly, i wish more movies will have longer spaces between the original and the sequel. so the sequel is less likely to turn out into a movie made to squeeze money out of you.
The sequel was amazing... But the villains name "ScreenSlaver" *Sigh
Sequels usually suck. You want this shit done right and they did. Good things take time.
"Honey?"
"What?"
"Wheeeeres maaaa super suit?"
My favorite part of the movie. XD

"My evening's in danger!"
"You tell me where my super suit is, woman! We are talking about the greater good!"
"Greater good? I'm your *wife*! I am the greatest goooood you are *ever* gonna get!"
As a child, I didn't give that line half the attention it deserves.
HelaLoki'sChild As a child, I completely knew what it meant and I loved those lines XD
Mr. Legendarius :)
MochiMinseok I knew what it meant, I just didn't really pay much attention to it.

The Incredibles is a true masterpiece, and the one of the biggest reasons why is because Dash sort is so fast that he can run on water, regardless of whether he could swim or not.

@@kieranstark7213 r/woooosh
Nah he removes it for the chuckle
Yes, that’s exactly what happened. Thanks for typing out what we can see in the video...
Apparently, in the original screenplay, Helen and the kids are flown to the island by a "non-Super, normal muggle" nicknamed Snug. But the writers decided:
(1) If Snug made it to the island alive, it would've complicated the plot if Helen, Violet, and Dash had to keep rescuing him because he had no superpowers.
(2) If Snug had died when the plane was blown up, it would've made him seem like an expendable "Ensign Redshirt."
(3) Finally, letting Helen pilot the plane emphasized that she had skills she wasn't born with -- she had to learn them by practice, like everyone else -- and it wasn't just knowing how to work a vacuum cleaner.
So, one sin off for dropping the Snug character, except in a short phone call.
Lissa Washburn people who aren’t special are called muggle this is just how society works
I saw this somewhere too. When she's underwater watching the plane sink, Snug is in it, or at least was when they made that part. Later they decided Snug was kind of "one character too many" and had 2nd thoughts about killing a character off, so he got editted down to a 5×7 on the dresser and a "Letttt meeee seeee" on the phone. Without knowing that fact, there's really no other reason for her to thoughtfully watch the plane sink into the abyss if you think about it .... But I guess some animator said, "Dude! You know how long I worked on that sinking?!?" :D
RIP snug init
@@SirWulfrick These early drafts of the film, animation/render errors, and with many other behind-the-scenes things, were included on DVDs special features. I remember the well. Pixar crams so much into DVD extras.
Didn't know that, never thought it was a sin but good to know =)
The biggest sin is that there hasn't been a sequel yet
It's coming 2017 or 2018
What on Earth makes you think this movie needs a sequel? The plot was all wrapped up at the beginning of the first one--Mr. Incredible's family is whole again. A sequel would be awful
Walkingdog1000 Yes, because Toy Story 3 was terrible.

Walkingdog1000 I'm kinda curious about what Jack-Jack grew up to be.
So yes, this movie actually kinda deserves a sequel

I think it really introduces an element of some comical humor to let the viewer relate with the character even further.

"When EVERYONE'S super, NO ONE will be."
I would have taken a sin off for this statement here. It was very witty, very depressing, and very true. Once technology makes it possible for anyone to have a super identity, being a superhero (or villain, for that matter) stops being special, and nobody gets left out for not having powers. This is exactly why Syndrome went with this plan: to get revenge on the star-bellied hero system for apparently excluding him and others for the lack of stars on their own bellies. A statement that perfectly summarizes his character arc while marking the finality of his villain journey.
So, yeah. One sin off for that line. Take off three, even.
And it's also a wonderful refutation of the "equality" fetish that our society has nowadays. It's okay for some people to be different and/or better at things than others.
@@thatrabidpotato8800
It's scary when the bad guys turn out to be correct. This moment is what made the whole movie for me, aside from the score and Frozone's missing supersuit.
@@thedocilefish
That's exactly what it is. Best story that Dr. Seuss ever wrote.
Sorry for the late response but it’s also a different imitation of what dash said earlier in the movie when Helen said that everyone’s special and he responded with that’s another way of saying nobody is
@@kamentrainerhorn2073 think many of the Pixar/Disney villains tend to have "correct" motives, but they don't use the "morally" correct medium to execute their plans. I guess that's what this and many other movies try to teach.
Wait so no sin off for the amazing plane scene? I mean it was so realistic, everything Helen said on radio was perfect. You'd never hear the term Buddy Spiked (friendlies locked onto your aircraft, imminent friendly shoot down accident) in a movie for example.
The real sin: the fact there hasn't been a sequel yet
+cerbralone Pixar announced a sequel for The Incredibles a few months back. It's scheduled for Summer 2019 though...

+cerbralone agreed
it's scheduled for 2017 February 22
Yes
AW COME ON!!! "When everybody becomes super, no one will be" is DEFINITELY worth taking at least one sin off.
Liber Khaos Terrible villain plotting is terrible. Honestly, Syndrome's whole evil plan is...kind of stupid to begin with. Though in all honesty I shouldn't be surprised, he is nothing but a bigass fanboy.
Orcaman15 Syndrome's evil plan is not really evil at all. And he's by far the least compelling character in the entire movie.
But that quote has a very high impact on a philosophical level in a post Harry Potter world where every kid dreams of being the "chosen one".
It's a constant reminder that being special has no value in itself and that all you should aspire to matter to is your loved ones.
Liber Khaos Good point...it certainly scared my pre-teen sister when she saw it.
Agreed
Orcaman15 ...what did?
"They'd probably survive that. Which we would then sin."
At least he's self aware.
OH GOD NO THE ROBOT IS LEARNING RUUUUUUUUUUUN
How is it not worth at least 5 sins that there isn't a sequel made yet?
Ryan Schoener there are rumors about a sequel maybe on 2016
***** not rumors, coming 2017 or 2018
The part 2 comes out in 2016
Ja'Mel Brewster it better. i was crying for a sequel the year i watched it
when i say maybe, i mean at leat on 2016. could be late or something.
One nitpick- Syndrome was toying with Mr. Incredible the whole time. His goal wasn't just to kill him, it was also to break him. Thats why Syndrome left him alive and didn't pull out anything big until he thought he was going to escape.
***** It could be argued that the first omnidroid Bob fights wasn't ready, and Syndrome knew it, but the only way to really work out the final kinks in the design was to put it up against the man himself and see HOW Bob ends up winning. The obvious security measure there is to make sure there's not enough room for anyone to hide inside or that the AI doesn't stab itself to get him if he does get inside somehow. After that, when the final omnidroid shows up for the first time and Syndrome starts monologuing, Syndrome could have easily just had the Omnidroid smash him to paste, tear him apart, or kill him in any other numerous ways it was designed to before Bob could even react. Remember that he thought he was just there on pleasant assignment and thats how Syndrome catches him off guard in the first place. Syndrome throws that advantage away and does none of those things because he wants to toy with Mr. Incredible, and its only when he accidentally throws him into the jungle and gives chase he pulls out what he believes will be a lethal option in the form of the bomb. The probe thinks Bob died, which to Syndrome is an acceptable alternative since he was going to do it himself anyway eventually, and he carries on. Bob gets caught, and Syndrome's Plan A is back online, Plan A being to make Bob watch as Syndrome saves the day in the glory and adulation only a superhero can achieve, watch Syndrome be crowned hero, all while he is himself helpless, and finally, to have the thing that makes Mr. Incredible Mr Incredible, his superpowers, stripped away from him by giving superpowers to the whole planet, as an ultimate humiliation and defeat that transcends simply killing him. Syndrome wanted him to suffer before he died, as much as he could make him. Its that over-extension of the plan that ends up working against him, which is the whole point.
Syndrome specifically states that the purpose of him doing that was to get it ready to fight Mr. Incredible. With that knowledge in had it can be pretty much surmised that Mr. Incredible is one of the best superheroes out there, and definitely one of the toughest. Syndrome never actually expected his prototypes and earlier revisions to be able to stop him, which is why he used them on others first. And I already explained why he didnt take advantage of the ambush, I'm not sure I can make it any more plain. Face it, one of the reasons The Incredibles is such a good movie is because the plot and characters DO make sense, even if their actions sometimes don't due to what we call "personality flaws" and "imperfections", those things that make characters ACTUALLY believable. Syndrome's is that he's full of a lifetime of resentment and anger at Mr. Incredible which leads to him doing some pretty stupid things to just to make Mr. Incredible suffer, which was always the endgame for him.
These arguments make the movie 1203703739294759927274473100487574892020109384747299201983x darker than it has to be

They have theories Syndrome isn't dead when the movie basically proves he is. I personally agree he died and hope he doesn't return since that wouldn't make any sense
Sin no. 86: Movie came out a decade ago, and we're only just now hearing about a sequel.

Here's my question -- in a world where superheroes not only exist, but work together to fight crime, why are normal non-superpowered people still trying to get away with stuff?
WulfieZi Cuz they're idiots that think they'll get lucky
How many police officers are there in the developed world?
That.

It's the same argument in any superhero story: if there are people with super powers protecting the common man and stopping crime then why does crime still exist in that universe? The answer is easy: Criminals don't CARE. They do it for money, or some kind of sick agenda to hurt people, or any other reason.

The standard size for a classroom is 30 square foots or approximately 32,5161 square meters. Old cameras characterized by black and white display can hit 24 frames per second at top. If flash ran to the professor's chair from literally the other side of the room and back in at max the duration of a single frame (as to not be captured by a a recording), disregarding the time necessary to get up, put the item on the chair and sit back, that means Dash would have to run at approximately 5618 kilometers per hour, what means approximately 1,5 kilometers per second, what means mach five! Dash couldn't possibly achieve that speed in less than 1/24th of a second without generating a sonic boom that would shatter all the glasses of the classroom, damage the camera and the eardrums of everyone nearby.
Maybe he has some flash or dragonball shit where they can cancel it out/stop it.

Azul Delta Ancestral orrr, it's a cartoon 🙄
This is some Film Theory/Because Science level shit man
"Super speed" is a bad physics power. Anything moving that fast would create a sonic blast wave that would have destroyed the classroom, but we ignore physics for the sake of fun.

8:20 No she didn't. She had no idea that Bob was Mr. Incredible. Mirage was tracking Frozone. That's why she says "the fat guy's still with him". After the fire, she even says she wants to switch targets.
Coda Mission and she says "trust me. This is the one he's been looking for"
So you're telling me that they meant to go after Frozone or something?
Yeah. Even in the bit where Mr I is looking through syndrome's computer, he finds Frozone in the database but not Elastigirl
@@sezza5365 Because she then recognised him by his super strength.
@@adra1017 actually the location of the island and the volcano fight would have countered Frozone's superpower
8:03 - Props to the writers and Dash’s VA for getting _exactly right_ the “sound of an 8-year-old who just discovered he can run on water.”
8:30 - That is incorrect. _ding_
its not incorrect.
If everybody is super, meaning they all have special abilities, no-one is- because they all have them, rendering the rarity of them useless
Finn Simpson - But it’s not so much the rarity of powers that makes them valuable, it’s how they’re used.
@@GamerFromJump if you gave everything a billion dollars then no one would be a billionaire
If someone was 6'8 then they are tall but if EVERYONE was 6'8 then that person would just be average height
SUPERMAN is special because he's the LAST SURVIVING (depending on which canon) KRYPTONIAN but if the consul had heeding Jor-Els warnings and evacuated everyone to Earth then Kal-EL would just be an AVERAGE kryptonian
If anyone could pick up mjolnir then what makes Thor special?
@@vladimirdragonov - Actually, everyone would be a billionaire because that’s just the term for a person with a billion dollars in net assets.
But if everyone had a billion dollars, even assuming that inflation wouldn’t require everyone to use a wheelbarrow of cash to buy groceries, you could come back in 5 years, and the distribution of assets will have shifted, with some having more and some having less. Because some people would act wisely and increase their assets, while others would squander theirs on the proverbial hookers and blow. It’s what you *do* with power that makes you special, not simply the having of it.
So if everyone were special, than some would still be more so; you’ve just shifted the power X axis right, but the distribution curve Y of good behavior that had “total villain” at the left, “average Joe” in the middle, and “paragon” at the right would remain more-or-less intact at the classic bell curve; a normal distribution.
That’s why Syndrome is wrong.

I don't think you realize it, but their powers are actually metaphors. mr. incredible is super strength cause he has to support the family. elastigirl has to be the flexible mother, dash is the hyperactive little kid, violet is the insecure teenager, and jack jack has unlimited potential.
Jack of all trades.
And Syndrome has down syn- I'll shut up now
Violet is a pun on Shrinking vioelt.. a term for people who hide from the world (Invisibility) and build walls to block people *forcefield)
Huh...what do you know?
This is why I want them to show Bob and Helen's parents at some point - if they're Supers too that could be SO cool. Not only could they have powers based on older ideas about men and women/OAPs, but they could answer my favourite question "Do Supers' powers weaken as they get older?" (which could lead to a cool "You're no use 'cos you're old/ Oh, no you're not - you saved my life!" bit)
1:36 Narrator sin! you can clearly see the knife going into the table and making a cut, meaning Mr. Incredi-stressed has to worry about the table too!
Carissa Larocque actually you can't see it making a cut, in fact it stops at the cloth, but I'm sure it still left a mark
@@RomaroBrandon You can see the knife is clearly stuck in the table when he lets go of it.
Kevin Jones Actually you can't because of the cloth which the knife is stuck in. You can make the assumption that the knife is made a hole in the table but you can't see said hole for sure.
@@RomaroBrandon So the cloth is holding a knife vertically in the air alone?
Kevin Jones not impossible especially in an animated kids film were people have superpowers.
I actually have a theory about why the kids have invisibility/force shield and super speed. Mr. Incredible has super strength, so super strong genes, and Elastigirl has super elastic ones, so when combined you get:
-Invisibility: with cells so elastic they basically stretch so much they let light through but strong enough to get back to normal
-Super Speed: with Dash's legs being super strong so they can move really fast but also with flexibility so they don't burn when going fast
It's dumb, but hey it's what I find a reasonable explanation q:
First Name Surname their powers are based on their personalities. Violet is a shy, quiet teenager who just wants to disappear. Dash is a young, hyperactive boy who's always running around. Jack Jack is a baby and thus nobody knows how his life will turn out therefore he gets multiple powers. Mrs. Incredible is a mother who's always getting pulled in different directions by her children and Mr. Incredible is the strong father figure.
you bro, are awesome...
It could be like an X-man thing where there powers develop based on what they need and there personality, which is why jack jack has so many powers because he hasn't developed, that doesn't explain how there names match there powers though
What about Jack-jack?
holy shit
The thing wrong with The Incredibles is not having a sequel..
Good news..it's in development now lol better late than never
Darrien Harris Seriously! It's been more than 10 fucking years!

He’s so precious! Protect him at all costs!

Sin 14: He actually did manage to shove the knife into the table, so he'll need to fix it to some extent.

+CinemaSins 1:42 - You've failed to understand that their superpowers are a reflection of who they are as people.
Mr Incredible wants to take charge all the time. - He's strong.
Elastigirl is a Mom who has to take care of so many things - she's super "flexible"
Dash is a little boy full of energy - he's super fast
Violet is an awkward teenager - He superpower is to make herself invisible and keep people at a distance (with her forcefield)
Oh.... and the baby that changes into many things - that's just a reflection of the changing moods of a baby.
+Robert Leather I never understood that either
+Robert Leather I think Jack-Jack's is different there's a theory when your a baby you don't have a proper power he might of started late and thats why they kept saying he didn't have any but thats why he changed from fire to metal to a monster and so on when he's older he will have a few powers like you say depending on their personality
+DETECTIVE MARVEL I kind of imagined it's rather meant to be a funny more over the top version of a toddler.
The going heavy bit is when they sit down and don't want to go anywhere. Being stubborn.
The fire is being bad tempered and screaming and crying.
The monster is the interpretation of their toddler being really naughty and destructive.
And so on.....
+Robert Leather *hits blunt*
+Robert Leather Ok, but at the end of the movie, Violet becomes self-confident, so why would she still have her powers?
And Helen wasn't always a mom, so she shouldn't have always been elastic.
And what about when Dash becomes a teenager and loses his energy? Will he no longer be super fast? What about when he tries marijuana? Will his powers change to being a super stoner?
I get that you may be talking about their powers from a story-based perspective, but the sin comes from viewing these people through a lens of realism, i.e. looking at them as though they are real. So the sin still stands, as the genetics make no sense.
Biggest sin: Waiting so long for the second movie
Lol wait till you see that its the same exact story with female leads lol! Nothing wrong with female leads, lazy story rehashing Very Wrong!
And yet the second movie is incredibly average. Pun intended
Do we need an Incredibles sequel anyway?
Abd then the second movie being vastly inferior to the first
@@heartless604 it’s a similar movie but worse.
i love this movie and hope a part 2 comes soon!
Guess what it's already happening!
Yeee
Randomtwixy33 really ?
coming out in 2016, look it up on the IMDB :)
cellP8 yes really
Spotted another Cinema Sin: At 4:33 you can see that the door opens, even though bob and helen neither opened it. Bob was too far from the door and Helen had her hands folded.
+Ich Bin Asiatin Ghost! Maybe it's a Super with ghost powers? Or Danny Phantom?
+Ich Bin Asiatin You can see him reach over for the door.
+Ich Bin Asiatin Yeah, if you watch it on .25 speed you can see his shoulder move, his arm reaches forward and pulls the door towards him. It's really subtle, but he's a huge guy with big ass arms.
+Serasia You are my new favourite internet person. ever.
Thank you! It would be fun either way, a ghost super or Danny Phantom. There is a second Incredibles movie coming out in 2019; there probably will be new Supers. We'll see if it's a ghost one.
Not going to lie, I don't think the incredibles 2 will be good unless they age the characters. It's been too long to pick up the story right after this one with so much time in between. It'll also be badass to see what jack jack can really do.
Datadrug Eh, it will be fine either way. The nostalgia will make it fine if they are the same age. I think Jackjack is a shape shifter, hence all the "powers". That and he may also have teleportation. Because the short showed him teleporting. Bust the shape shifting would account for the extra strength and weight, and why he can become fire.
But I would like to see them grown up.
dogs101o Well, I heard a theory that states that when "Supers" as they're called in that universe are still in infancy they have many different powers and as they get older the one they stick with the most is the one they get permanently and all the other powers and abilities they don't use as much just work out of their system.
MrFirewolf18 I heard that too. I don't agree or else Violet wouldn't have powers. Remember? She didn't like to use them. Also Edna woudn't talk about JackJack like she did.
good point.
Incredibles 2: Dr. Doom/Lex Luthor rises?
Frozone’s wife’s name is honey and he called her honey in one of the scenes so is he calling her by her name?
people do that, or nicknames based on their name. like Marge calls Homer "Homie"
Probably by her name. When your wife has a name like "honey," you'd come up with a different pet name

I think Edna was preparing for whatever the babies powers could be. Not what could happen to him.
So, Suit Ex Machina?
Firedestroyer Could you please explain the Ex Machina to me? I don't understand what the term means.
Sean McCollum Deus Ex Machina is when something that's seemingly unsolvable is solved abruptly by the unexpected intervention of some new event, character, ability or object, in the words of Wikipedia.
Firedestroyer Not necessarily. I don't know exactly how the super powers and genetics work in the Incredibles (Where did Violets black hair come from?!), but Edna comments at one point that she doesn't know the baby's powers so she just covered the basics. This could simply mean that all super heroes when their babies could have multiple powers at their disposal, but when they get older, their multiple powers fade away into a single or series of abilities. In the short Jack-Jack Attack, Jack-Jack is seen as having even more powers then Inflammability, Metal, and Beast Mode, which I doubt would mean he has all those powers when he's older. Again, I'm not sure exactly how powers work in this universe.
SecretCodeMan the black hair is most likely dyed, dyed black hair in teenage girls is a common phase, usually the emo, goth, or scene phase
Edna is one of my favorite characters. She is so dam quotable.

Even better is that it's physically accurate. If a human could run just (IIRC) ~65 mph or so, it'd be fast enough to push off the surface tension without breaking it.
***** You seem to be posting this alot. Everyone kind of knows this. It's like when you skip a rock along a river. It manages to stay above the water until it loses speed. Same with humans. Not really ground breaking stuff.

Because I think it's interesting, and considering the number of likes, it's apparently not something everyone knows.
The biggest sin is that all these years later we still don't have a sequel.
We are getting one. But Pixar has decided to be a d**k and make us wait until FREAKING 2019 for it to come out! 😠

Yes but they don't know that yet
+DarkSolstace well at the beginning Edna said she didn't know what his powers would be, so she put everything non specialized she could think of on the suit just in case
+DarkSolstace edna says she made the suit with a lot of random capabilities because she doesn't know what the baby can do
+Ali Can Metan didn't read the other comment lol whatever
+The Laursen they didnt know that yet... so maybe it was foreshadowing?
I like how the incredibles think a small mask only covering their eyes is gonna hide their secret identity

1:35 knife is absolutely deep into the table.
You slightly missed the point with the costumes: they're not all designed the same way - each one is custom-made to withstand the specific superpower of the user. So, Violet's goes invisible (but the others don't), Dash's can handle extreme friction, Helen's is ultra-elastic, etc. With the baby's costume Edna was trying to cover all the bases, so she made it fire-proof - not to protect the child from external flames, but in case the baby turns out to be the Human Torch: so the costume isn't ignited by his own super-powered flames. None of the other costumes have the fireproof or bullet-proof abilities, only the baby's.
Other points:
- Syndrome presumably knew about the body in the cave because he initially thought Bob was dead, then realised he wasn't, then investigated the cave to see what the hell went wrong and why his probe failed, and figured out that the reason why it had detected a dead body was because of the dead body in the cave.
- The reason Syndrome keeps Bob alive is probably partly because he wants him to witness his victory and gloat (the whole thing started when Bob rejected him as a kid, so now he wants to run Bob's nose in how successful he has become without Bob's help); but it's mostly because he picked up the signal from Bob's homing device and needed to know whom Bob had contacted, how much they knew, and who was going to be coming to the island - remember, he's picked up a Government plane coming in.
- Syndrome probably went to the Parrs' house planning to ambush them when they got home, then quickly changed plans when Kari came to the door and assumed he was the replacement babysitter. (Watch the short film "Jak-Jak Attack" to see what was happening off-screen at that point).
- Judging by the state of the floor, Helen almost never hoovers in Bob's den, so it's believable that it might have been the first time she'd been in there in months.
- Bob starts training not because he's expecting more work, but because he's feeling good about himself for the first time since he had to stop superhero work. Up to that point he'd been feeling increasingly depressed and had been over-eating to compensate.
Nicolas Bryant Helen's costume is described as virtually indestructible.

The other suits do go invisible. Since dash and violey made it on the jet.
sunxnes I don't think it was established that that's how Dash got on the plane. It's possible but not confirmed. He couldn't just ran onto there quick enough that he wasn't detected.
+Trung Hieu Um did you see that super suit get blasted by to missiles of course they're made to protect the user. Also, Jack Jack's super suit is FUCKIN' bulletproof!
You forgot to point out the fact that Mr. Sansweet was legally able to file a lawsuit against a man from stopping his attempted suicide. Mr. Incredible has probably saved more lives then he can count, and just because her hurt a man's neck from saving his life he's deemed the bad guy here? Why didn't Mr. Sansweet can put in a mental institute to deal with his obvious suicidal thoughts and weren't pointing out the fact that he just tried to kill himself and is getting away scot-free?Plus another one: the victims of the L-Train accident. Mr. Incredible saved everyone's lives on that train, and ONCE AGAIN they're taking him to court because they all got serious whiplash and broken arms from his stopping-the-train-from-crashing heroic act. "You broke my arm and severely injured my neck you jerk!" Okay so you would rather have him NOT stop the train from crashing and letting you all die in a twisted metal fireball of destruction and death instead of walking away with whiplash? How did he lose THAT court case? And one more: With all of the heroes gone from the Act that was passed down from the Government, what about the Super Villains? The ones that average cops and what not CAN'T defeat by themselves? Did they follow the Act too and hang up their capes and go into hiding? Why not just take advantage of the sudden "No More Heroes" thing and rob and rule to your heart's content? What the f***? What DID happen to all of the villains? Did they feel as if without a hero to fight, what's the point? Or were all of them secretly killed by the government, or was Pixar to lazy to explain that serious plot hole?
+STH151NicoleFan that's the point the movie shows how people are not able to see to foot in front of there own nose first its the general public and then Bob Parr and in terms of the villians Suicide squad
+STH151NicoleFan Wait, his name was Sansweet? Gotta love subtlety haha.
+Sam Klug she suffered horrible burns that left her incapable of using her legs for a while
also it was too hot when checked (I dunno how you check it but oh well
+STH151NicoleFan Note the dates involved in the movies; the fact that the movie itself came out in 2004, and the anachronistic technology (probably caused largely by, y'know, supers and specifically people with super-level technological skill such as Edna and Syndrome) can be quite misleading, but the adventure depicted takes place in the early 70s, while the day of Incrediboy's stupidity and the rescue from suicide was in the late 50s. In other words? Before Good Samaritan laws were commonplace. (For reference, Good Samaritan laws are those laws preventing people from being held liable for injuries they cause while responding to a crime or disaster.) Hell, even today, some places only extend Good Samaritan laws to trained professionals in specific circumstances, but that's besides the point.
So assuming a legal system actually resembling that of the 50s? (Hey, there are supers and super-esque tech in this universe, maybe there are other differences.) Mr. Incredible could *totally* be sued for injuring people while saving their lives.
HeliosKitty Mr. Incredible: "Sorry for saving all your lives. Next time I'll just LET the train crash and you all can just die horribly in a twisted metal inferno or death and carnage. And I'm sure that all your friends and loved ones would just love it if I had let that happen."
Like kids would really be able to figure all of this out. They should've made it PG-13 with swearing and some extra violence. It's still beyond idiotic how he gets sued and loses a court case for saving all of those peoples lives while they get to walk (mostly) away with whiplash and broken arms. It's like stopping a bulldog from mauling a child and you get sued by the owner for injuring his dog.
Officer: "Mr. Sansweet, for your attempted suicide by jumping off the roof of your place of work, in front of all these bystanders, you're under arrest."
Mr. Sansweet: "Don't arrest me, arrest HIM! He almost broke my neck when he stopped me from killing myself!"
Officer: "...You're joking right? That's Mr. Incredible, the greatest hero of our time and you're a suicidal maniac. Do the math."
Are human beings REALLY that stupid? Me make up laws that make us the bad guy for saving lives? So just because it's written on paper and made up by a group of people who help run the country we should obey it?
Incrediboy knew about jack jack because remember in the plane when they were heading over to the island, incrediboy (I forgot his other name) was listening to everything they were saying. So when violet mentioned jack jack was with a baby sitter incrediboy knew they had another child.
Syndrome 👍
+RawkHawk Well, wasn't Elastigirl speaking into the headset when Syndrome was listening? I don't think that he could have heard.
+RawkHawk That's not true. He would only hear what Helen says into the headset.
+RawkHawk sounds logical
Syndrome managed to track down Mr. Incredible. He more than likely went to the house to kill them there. And if you watched Jack Jack Attack then you know the rest.
8:10 Violet's suit is bulletproof. Doesn't save her from headshots, but greatly increases her survivability.
I know the final scene with Jack-Jack negates this, but maybe the reason Syndrome didn't know about Elastagirl is because Mirage was actually going after Frozone but switched targets when she saw the building on fire scene. So maybe they didn't do as much snooping into his life.
Mason Henderson that is exactly the reason, i believe Mirage says as much when reporting back into HQ after the fire/jewelry store. good EYE
She was going after frozone. Because when she was reporting the location of them before the fire scene she said "the fat guy is still with him" indicating that mr incredible wasnt her target
Woah, now that I realize that several years later, my mind is blown!!!
Mason Henderson WHAT!? Frozone is BLACK! Mr. Incredible ISN'T! Why would she have been tracking Frozone? (I agree her dialogue suggests she is, but it still doesn't make any sense)
Cody Hines Because they were killing off superheroes. Frozone was next to be killed before she saw Mr. Incredible. She switched targets because she knew Syndrome had a personal grudge against him.
If you had counted the "Where's my supersuit?" scene, you'd have taken off all the sins. That scene is comedy orange.

Incredibles two: Frozone searching for his supersuit
The fact that Dash and Violet doesn't have the same powers as their parents could be because of one of two reasons.
1 most obvious, the writers didn't want them to have the same powers.
2 the super power gene (or whatever it is that makes them develop super powers) could be only partially hereditary. Like every humans grows hair, but what color and if it's straight, curly, short or long depends on genes. So in this case it could be that the "super hero gene" only goes down a generation in the form of creating super powers and not any specific super power
