This is going to seem really nitpicky, but I'm adding a sin for the scanner in the tank announcing the temperature of the water in Fahrenheit, when it is clearly established that they are in Australia. *Ding*
But ordered from a catalog, it easily could have been an American geared product.
I'm glad someone else besides me caught that.
@@Vampkiki If it was American it probably wouldn't work.
Your not in control of the sin counter if it was that important he would have mentioned and sinned it
As a scuba diver, i can confirm that you put your address on your mask. They are worth $50-$2000 . They also form to your face, and new ones need to be prepared by scrubbing the glass with toothpaste. It's a hassle.
I hate when steam builds up on them sometimes
Cocktor Meem Well, haven't you learned how to temporarily get rid of the "steam"? You look up, press your palm on the top of the mask, let some water in, rinse out the steam, and breathe out of your nose to let the excess water out (all while being underwater, of course)
SakuraPrincess that builds up more steam, due to fact that it's water and since it's in a warm enclosed and small area it turns into steam, spit doesn't help either for that matter.
SakuraPrincess also your nose can cause steam...
Mike G I understand that but why the hell did he keep it on the edge of the boat. It was obviously going to fall somehow.
What about something simple like... Fish don't have eyelids
My guess is that it would probably be because it would be and looks a bit odd and Maybe a bit creepy for the characters not to blink. Plus when the characters are asleep too.
I think I would have been creepy if we watched a 1 hr and 41 m movie with most of the characters not blinking.
I would actually pay good movie to go see a movie like that just for the sake of watching people's uncomfortable reactions!
I think he only sins things that are making you question the plot, question logic, or if it's incorrect to the timeline
Except for the occasional "that's racist" sin or something like that
Or teeth
I worked in a pet store for 2 and a half years. When you bag a fish, you have to make sure that you have an equal amount of air in the bag as the water. Oxygen is important to fish just as water is. So the dentist bagging the fish without air to give to his niece is effectively killing the fish before his niece has a chance to.
That's very true. After all, the oxygen in water comes from the oxygen in the atmosphere. Another small little issue in this movie is (as Jeremy points out 2:11) when Nemo and his father don't think to swim above the fish that they're saying are in their way (such as also the fish traffic highway at 2:06). I guess that this movie's writers were equating the physical nature of their getting around to our getting around where when someone/something is in our way and there's no way to walk around it, we have to wait until they move. But the writers forgot that fish don't have gravity working against them like we do. We cannot jump or fly over things that are in our way, but fish can swim over them. The writers apparently forgot that moot point and just simply and fully equated their mobile system to ours
At 5:52 you can see a line where the water in the bag ends, so it did have like 1/3rd air in the bag
@@gferrol118 not enough usually I would see like 2/3 air and 1/3 water instead of the other way around
Maybe that’s why she was shaking it
He asks "what's next?" when they are stuck in the bags:
1.He inflates multiple time until the bag tears.
2.Asks crabs or the pelican for help.

Is nobody going to talk about how 'nemo' in Latin means no one? They're literally finding no one?
Maybe it was intended as a joke.
There’s a dark theory that Nemo got killed with coral and all of his other siblings and when Marlin “finds” Nemo it just means that he let go of his sons death and moved on
@@GlitchyHalo true
@@GlitchyHalo bruh you just ruined my childhood...
It's Disney-fied "Waiting for Godot"!!!!!
Glad I'm not the only one who was immensely bothered about how the fish got out of their bags in the ending. I always thought that maybe the pufferfish could puff himself out, but I don't know about the rest of them.
Amy L Maybe the pufferfish popped their bags too?
Amanda Butcher That was honestly my theory as an 8 year old, lol. I always wanted a sequel just to find out what happened to them
Amy L awesome viper
Amy L I think my 'theory/headcanon' as a kid was that someone got the sharks to helpNow that I think about it that makes no sense as the sharks couldn't possibly get that close to the pier....Can they? IDK how sharks work there aren't any in my area.
RubixSoul That's hilarious! Fish are friends not food
Ah shit, they've started hitting Pixar. There goes my childhood
Wow, you must have had a terrible childhood if Pixar was the only thing that made it good.
Also, this doesn't mean Pixar is bad, but you childhood has more problems than CinemaSins doing the Pixar movies.
FanOfAnimation … That was pretty shallow.
BB Child How? If the only thing that keeps somebody's childhood from being ruined is movies or television shows or whatever, then they didn't have a very good childhood, no matter what the quality of the shows or movies were.
FanOfAnimation Sure, you'd be right if someone's childhood focused solely around the media they were absorbed in; but what was happening with pop culture during someone's childhood tends to have a great effect even if they were constantly involved in activities not pertaining to the media. It's ridiculous to assume someone had a terrible childhood - or accuse someone of having a terrible childhood - just because they have nostalgic feelings tied in with a certain movie, show, or song.
BB Child Well considering that they imply that whatever thing they are nostalgic for was the best and most important part of their childhood and not their friends or family, is it really that ridiculous?
Sinning the movie for a SPOTTED EAGLE ray because a STINGray killed Steve Irwin?
That's ray-cist

Why wasn't the whale also a personified character? Makes things a little inconsistent
I would assume that it's because it's a mammal as opposed to a fish, but even that wouldn't make sense.

Fun fact: Nemo means nobody in Latin Finding Nobody
Derpy Hooves LOL
Derpy Hooves Leave it to Derpy Hooves/Ditzy Doo to figure out something no one else would.
Finding Nobody.. the sequel to finding nemo?
Derpy Hooves It also means "the man" in Oromo. Finding the man?
Derpy Hooves maybe nemo is a fragment of marlin's imagination created after he lost 400 children and his wife, like tyler durden..
How about a sin for the fact that Nemo means "no man" or "no one" in Latin. So the movie was essentially called Finding No One.
That's actually... GENIUS!
A genius title is more genius than the film it self... DING!!!
And the fact that the mother wanted to name their baby "no one"...DING
It's probably a reference to Captain Nemo of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, but yeah
Someone told me that Nemo meant prisoner. Thats why they used a clown fish because their orange and prisoner uniforms are orange.
Finding dory fixes some sins, like why she can read
No it doesn't
+Solomon Casado yes it does, have you watched the movie?
The point of the sin is fish can't read and it still holds true even after Finding Dory.
I was just going to comment about that
Although Finding Dory still deserves a video on this channel
"I watched a movie last night about a man whose wife and many children are killed by a serial killer, the only one left disabled because of one of his limbs didn't grow fully. Suddenly, awhile into the future, the kid feels rebellious and listening to his stupid friends at school goes up to a kidnappers car to touch. The kidnapper gets him of course and the father has to find him because there's no police force in this city. With the help of a women who forgets everything every minute, he goes on a search for his son who is stuck with others that are trying to escape and are possibly crazy. Lets not forgot the threat of the kidnappers murdering daughter,"

I feel like there was a sin missing for the moment involving Chuckles, the dead goldfish. First off, it's a goldfish, and the fact that the other fish in the aquarium knew about him doesn't make sense because all of them are saltwater fish, and goldfish are strictly freshwater. Ergo, there is no possible way they could've known about him, much less his name since they would have to be in the exact same environment in order to talk.
Hahaha omg can't believe I missed that one.

I just realized that it's Deb and Flow. Like ebb and flow, like waves or tides.
TheBelieveit1 thank you. I was bothered that I didn't get the joke. It seemed like too specific a detail.
Love this one. But in regards to sin 29, the scene that sets the entire movie in motion - the one that "sort of proves that Marlin was right" - has a lot more to it. Just prior to Marlin intervening, Nemo was responding to the other fish that his dad wouldn't want him to swim off into the open water from the drop-off like that. If Marlin hadn't been so overprotective and accusatory, embarrassing his son on the first day of school, Nemo may very well have not "touched the butt" to spite him as he ended up doing. Due to this subtle yet integral inclusion, the moral still stands.
Also, hopefully we'll get the reason for why Dory can read in Finding Dory. That'd be fantastic.
What's Finding Dory?
Hello brian
Scarygamer345 A construct of google search.
Scarygamer345 Finding Dory is the upcoming sequel to Finding Nemo. That one will guarantee way more sins than the first film.

Here's a sin: Fish from the daylight zone wouldn't be able to survive in Midnight zone water, because their gills can't breathe in the water since it has a colder temperature, diffrent sodium count, and has a diffrent number of electrolytes in deeper water. Fish from diffrent zones have different gills that wouldn't allow them to breathe if they switched zones. Sorry if I misspelled or got something wrong, all I know is that they wouldn't be able to breathe because of diffrent temperatures or more/less salt and I think electrolytes.

Different water pressure at deeper levels too. Daylight zone fish's bodies would be damaged or destroyed in the same way ours would at higher pressures.

I have a theory that the fish in the bags didn't die, but were released by one of 2 means: Bloat the Pufferfish was the first one to ask _"now what?"_ If he started to panic, inflating himself would expand enough to pierce his bag open so he could then use his spines to pop the others. Alternatively, Nigel the Pelican would see the fish are missing from the tank, track them down and use his beak.
"Nobody's ever stuck with me this long" "How would you know" Damnnnnnn that's savage
The whole "Marlin should let Nemo live his life" moral is correct, and because Marlin was so controlling in the past, Nemo felt the need to disobey Marlin when he went to touch the boat. So Marlin was right, but also wrong at the same time.
Rachester Strict parents make disobeying kids.
Blue Spy Yeah my mom lets me do whatever I please, and tbh I don't really feel the need to do anything stupid or reckless... I never touch the butt. xD
+Rachester Marlin was overprotective of Nemo, since he did lose his mate and almost all his kids. So I think that's what kept him from letting Nemo live his life. This made him too controlling. Your point of him being right and wrong at the same time is actually pretty accurate
+Rachester I think the point was that he was so strict that Nemo went to extremes to defy him- which led to his capture. If Marlin hadn't said anything he would have stayed with the group and not been out on his own trying to prove himself where he could be captured.

ComputerDude2600 Fine...No one sins Finding Nemo and gets away with it :D
Marc Shanahan And why not? Every movie has sins anyway ._.
ComputerDude2600 Stupid sycophants are everywhere. Especially UA-cam comments sections.
Their eyes are open because Fish Don't Have EYE LIDS! LOL
Jay Surge No eyelids but we see the fish blinking throughout the movie so it's a sin either way.
Actually most fish do have eyelids but they are clear
FIRST OF ALL, HOW FUCKING DARE YOU.
You DO realize this guy is joking, Right?
Foxy Gamer It was a joke, calm down fuckboy.
AliThePanda If you're going to start with "First of all", people assume you're eventually going to get to "And Second".
Scott Taylor kk
Holy shit, the kid's are on the internet again
I remeber loving this movie when i was 4, but now that i look at it 11 years later, i see how good of a movie it is...
Still better than most movies you'll see today.
***** Sure.
Jk
But am I?
legofreak446 I just said I see HOW GOOD of a movie it is... lol
***** Lol yay
Km
When I heard the sharks speaking with Australian accents, I realized that this movie would have been so much better if all the fish did... ._.
the movie takes palce in the Pacific Ocean. Marlin doesnt start his journey in Australia
um yes... Marlin starts his journey in Australia. They live in the Great Barrier Reef, which is near Queensland, Australia. The dentist is in Sidney.
Master Shaak Ti proof?
go to wikipedia... and its stated a few times that they are in the great barrier reef
prepare to meet your DESTINY HELLLOOO DESTINNYYY! XD sorry, I just really like your name.
If someone knows one video where he doesn’t give a sin for logos, please tell me
They do exist. Even better, there is at least one video where he takes sin off for logos! And it's Monsters Inc.: ua-cam.com/video/v07TPe5_jKs/v-deo.html
He didn't sin the Lego Movie 2 for the titles.
"Heroes get trapped in a whale" cliche? How many stories have featured someone getting trapped in a whale, besides Moby Dick?
DeviLe15 Jonah and the Whale, a classic bible story
DeviLe15 Pinocchio
DeviLe15 I think he meant it more along the lines of the swallowed whole cliche, where the hero is swallowed by this large beast, and comes out of it none the worse for wear.
DeviLe15 The Bible ;'3
DeviLe15 ponocio
They missed the chance to say "CARL?" from The Walking Dead at the beginning, when Marlin actually said "Coral".
that was in the end meme section
Or even Llamas in Hats.
That’s what I was hoping he would do 😂
Movie references only.
I haven't seen anyone point it out yet, but the reason that Marlin was still worried the sharks were going to eat them after the AA meeting was because the Mako shark accidentally spit out the bones of his previous "fish friend".
6:17 Marlin's face
he heard you
6:27 Anyone else notice the Pizza Planet truck?
I did. Also there's a Luigi car driving by when the Tank Gang escape at the end.
i did!
I notice.

They've done it for every movie except The Incredibles. But maybe they can follow in George Lucas's footsteps and release a 20th Anniversary Special Edition with all the "mistakes" "fixed".

Sin: If Dory has short term memory loss, how did she learn how to read? Wouldn't she forget everything she was told?
She probably remembered the moment she started reading.
Ashley S, ok
The Poppers Different part of the brain? I mean with 50 First Dates and Memento, the characters with memory loss could still remember certain skills, but forgot events that happened to them. Maybe Dory is the same way???
How can people forget where they put their keys, but remember events from when they were 5?
Flufferanian stored in different parts of the brain. Also we only know only about 10% of what is capable of.
Lmao what the heck is the "heroes get trapped in a whale cliche"?
It's that
Pinocchio
Or, you know, Jonah.
teen titans did it too
It actually is part of Joseph Campbell's the hero's journey. When the hero is in the 'thick of it' it is called the "Belly of The Whale"
5:33 bro I lost my shit laughing at Nigel slamming into the window and then somehow recuperating enough to open the window with his beak. Wait a minute, how the hell did he open the window?
Marlin thinks he's rick grimes cos he keeps saying CORALLLL
facepalm
That's what I was thinking!! 😂
haha seriously 😂😂😂
Omg lol
Ugh
5:18 She's pink, and her name is Peach. Doesn't that remind you of a princess? +1 sin
BriefCasey795 Mario refrencess for the win!
um yea princess peach. grrreeeeaaaatttt they have to bring mario in here. +50 more sins cause mario is terrible
Avatar Raptor so is pokemon mario is awesome
Avatar Raptor someone didn't see the news where mario odyessy sold millions of copies within the first month or so after it launched.
Absolutely and thank you for recognizing me
7:43 It sounds the the pelican is singing when he first starts talking. XD
I'm finally emotionally ready to watch this. Finding Nemo was the only thing is watch as a child and even now it's one of my absolute favourites. So I hope this won't change my mind on it. Please don't.
this is me with Bolt
Wait.
The Starfish is a girl?
What.
Yes. Played by Allison Janney.
WHAT
Seriously?
O-o
Psylo Productions lol really?? you didn't notice it? xD
Psylo Productions i've only watched this movie on spanish and i was very surprised to hear the original voice, the spanish one sounds like a woman
Her name's Peach, and you didn't pick up on this? Dunno about you, but I have NEVER heard of a male with that name.
2:58. Says Marty instead of Marlin. #CinemaSinsSins.
Wow, finding dory actually explains why Dory could read!
Andybiotic Finding Nemo AND this video came out BEFORE Finding Dory. Also, in order for it to NOT be a sin, it would've needed to be explained in FINDING NEMO. Don't you know anything about CinemaSins?
Kianna Conway
Duh... You don't say...
Andybiotic Then you shouldn't have made the comment, shit bag.
Kianna Conway
Hah! You don't even understand my comment. You assumed it was a criticism on the video and you rebuted on it, while in fact I was just making a comment praising how Finding Dory didn't forget a piece of unexplained mystery from a previous movie. Did I say it shouldn't be a sin? Yet you assumed I did and argured on it. lol READ before you make a comment, "shitbag". lol
Andybiotic I may have assumed that. But at least I can create my own come backs, dumbass.
1:59 Considering Marlin calls it his lucky fin, I always assumed that Nemo's fins were supposed to start off small and would grow as he did and he just got lucky in having one of them already be adult sized
Couldn't the pufferfish guy just inflate and pop the bag?
exactly what I thought after watching this
I thought that too
He actually did inflate during that and he didn't pop it. Rewatch the scene and pay close attention to him.
Tbf, it would only puncture the bag. It wouldn't free him
Yes, since the bag is full of water, it wouldn't pop.
12:09, So expected to hear JOHN CENA
I know right
Same
+DRBWildlife pretty much
+DRBWildlife Same...
+DRBWildlife i thought it would be john cena,21,or jeff sneaky hmmmmm-_--_-
-_-_-_-_-
Wait, "heroes get trapped in a whale" is a clichè?
Pinocchio
Radha Patel
O
I guess there's the story of Jonah too, where the whale takes the hero to ironically basically the exact place they were headed to.
yeah...

Cinemasins: predicting Finding Dory before it happens
Make that 87 sins, let me explain, at the end when the fish are in the sea, in the bags one of them (forgot the name) is a puffer fish, couldn't he just pop the bag with his spines?
Finally, someone else who thought of that!
Aren't they freshwater fish though? I can't imagine you could bring a fish from an aquarium and plop it in the ocean.
Or tell other fishes that have something sharp to get em out, I also thought of that too, ;)
JustDreamOutLoud Um that tank was a saltwater tank. It had to be or Nemo would have died pretty quickly being a fish from the ocean. But you are correct that fish should never be taken from a freshwater environment and placed into a saltwater one.
No that wouldn't do much. All the pufferfish would do is poke holes in his bag and let water flow in and the bag would collapse on top of him and would be too flexible for him to rip apart using only his spikes. He would lose his ability to swim and sink down to the ocean and the rest of the fish would just float on top with no way of getting out.
HOLD THE PHONE the starfish is a girl?!
Holy shit, she is pixar.wikia.com/Peach
yeah ,I thought it was a guy lol O.o
Same. I thought Peach was male.
truepixartronphan What's next? Blue is girl? Tweetie bird is a boy?
Rainbow Pigeon wait Tweetie isn't a boy
I love the "Prometheus school of running away from things" gag
1. when Nemo and dory are with bruce travelling to his 'lair' and dory asks about the ballons (the mines) and bruce says something along the lines of, 'you wouldnt want those balloons to pop' and in the scene where one mine blows up all of them explode, so how would bruce know they explode without having the place explode before hand
2. The scanner in the fish tank recognises the temperature at 80 degrees farenheit, when this movie is Australian and should be read in celsius
+milly obrien good points!!!
+milly obrien
1. Sharks migrate all over the ocean & Bruce probably saw it happen somewhere else since the Pacific theater of WW2 encompassed millions of miles (squared).
2. The producers change certain things in movies for different markets. This movie in Aussie land would, most likely, show the temp reading in Celsius.
IMHO.
y80 r people1mmq.

+milly obrien Nemo and Dory are never with Bruce but Marlin and Dory are
+milly obrien in the original storyboard when the sharks are introduced. they are playing catch/volleyball with a mine.

Damn, bold move CinemaSins. Doing Disney movies has proven to be risky, as according to the Frozen FanBase.
***** very true. its a feminist movie, a lot like most classic Disney movies :D
I never said I supported that turd of a film. I'm saying, doing Disney movies turns the fanboy's rage mode on.
true, but cinemasins loooooooove doing that XD
I know, but the fanboys on some movies are ****ing retarded. Frozen and H-P in particular.
Thhhhhaaaat shit is ...a sin on its own.
Interesting side note I've heard before that the event of what fishing boat being capsized due to an amount of fish in its Nets that it handles on the regular all swimming down in unison actually did happen at least once. I think it was near Europe in the Atlantic. I could be wrong about the location. It happened long before this movie came out.
I thought another good line of dialogue here would be Rick screaming "Coooooral!" In The Walking Dead.
As soon as this part came on at the end, I was sat there like "Hoe don't do it".
I was still disappointed. Opportunity missed.
+TechnaPhantom y rghi I 6y
7:36 3rd of all, why did he think it was kids when his side of the window is close to ocean and cars
