This is my favourite series. I've always wished for all of them to be joined into one single file to watch. My wish came true. Thank you. This was also the series that made me change all my water bottles to the insulated ones.
I wish Cade Media would go back to more daily VLOG style. Cause this video + just riding around videos made me huge fan of the channel. I know it doesn't bring as much money as "10 things" videos but still.
@@christooss I also miss the London scene crit racing. Chris Hall, Keira McVitty, George and Jam. I even miss the riding in the NorthEast I suppose life goes on.
Life moves on, Francis has explained these changes over time, all those mentioned have also talked about the difficulties of doing this type of media to a legit level and have a life to live. Enjoy the journey’s, content and filming in its various methods, better than nothing at all!
I, like a lot of other commenters, miss these style of videos as well. I know channels change over time to match the changing lifestyles of creators but these types of videos were great and the reason I joined the channel.
The bike fitter dude is classic British adventurer. Never complains and always positive and having fun. They would have never made thru the desert without him.
This is the best thing yall have ever made. I first watched this whole series in June of 2020. Id already started cycling a few months earlier but watching this changed everything. At the end of this month me and my brother are doing our first ever back packing trip. Thank you. Cycling has changed my life.
This is just so great. I don’t normally comment on yt, but I felt like I absolutely had to. This video inspires me to go on my own bike packing adventures. Thanks, guys! Please continue to make this type of great content.
Love these adventures and your great senses of humor...Even when things go badly. Can't believe you ride across southern CA deserts....GOOD GRIEF. AND CHAPEAU !! Nice that you were able to meet up with the Vegan Cyclist, cruise the Yosemite Park,. James is a crack up and hope Lawrence's wrist healed quickly. You guys are great!! Thanks, again
Love this and a agree with so many of the comments, his should NOT be "extra" this is what we all love about Franis' content and it's kind of heartbreaking to see it shuffled to a secondary channel. Thank you Francis, hope you make more of these.
Best series on UA-cam now in one video! Can’t describe how happy you made me when I saw this. Simply awesome trip, footage, music, plus you three are amazing and absolutely fun to watch.
I love watching this video! Hwy 2 Angeles Crest Hwy from Duarte on Hwy 39 then connect to Hwy 2 up to Dawson Saddle at El 7901 feet was a weekly ride for me when I lived in Huntington Beach. Then riding to Kelso and Baker all of that was part of a 508 mile ultra cycling race with 35,000 feet of climbing through Death Valley etc A race I have done 11 times :-) many of those times as.a Solo racer and one year as a Fixed Gear racer :-)
When did they do this series? Because it was released a week ago I thought they were just here, then VC was on it and he looked like his old thin self (he's since beefed up with upper body training since). ?That's when I realized maybe this was old footage.
I’ve ridden the Ohio To Erie Trail, now I want to train for an even longer bike packing trip after watching this. Still need to work on training for the ascents. Just participated in my first gravel race that had 3500 feet of elevation. I was pushing up some of the hills. 😅😂
Another way to travel between San Francisco and Oakland with a bicycle, besides the ferry: take BART (the train under the bay). It's faster & more frequent, but less scenic.
Somewhat astonishing to see you in places I have been in a dozen times myself -- including the Ludlow Cafe. I would go in around 2008 and 2009 occasionally and there were always a few elderly ladies doing the waitressing. Can't imagine they're still around but the cafe seems to be.
Love it...I get it's a movie too...but might have been better as a mini series? 3.5hrs is nuts even for a lover of all things cycling. For future epic adventure movie making lol Frikkin love it though.
You boys came to my home town area! (Huntington Beach) Then rode to sin city... HB is much nicer. I worked in vegas one summer. It always boggled my mind seeing kids skateboard @ 108f.
Crackin vlog you guys. 3.5 hrs flew by ! Great soundtrack as Well, love that Slowdive sounding track. Well done Lawrence, attempting to battle through injured. 💪 You ain't no Swash ! :)
@@johnmcnulty1129 turns out riding on a fractured wrist hurts a lot. Also turns out flying to Portland and spending a week eating ice cream and watching the Tour de France is better than having to ride 100miles a day through Oregon!!
Did you guys ever consider Lawrence just hiring a van to carry his bike and all your stuff as support? You guys would have moved faster and he would still be there at all the stops.
Watching James on this trip was a real representation of how i want to take the trip and who i want to take these trips with

Huh ? Did you not see the Malaysia vlog ?
@@sanynava Watched both Lawrence and Ben's chanell along Francis' but compared to few years back I still miss more vlog/casual ride to work content.

Three and a half hours of awesome cycling content! Exactly what I needed for this lazy Sunday morning! Thanks guys😊
You just made my 100 km morning trainer ride absolutely epic!
This is the best cycling video on YT hands down. Francis should go back to content like this.
Such a fun and inspiring video.

Loving the super-long format. Welcome to the land of Big and Loud Everything, boys!
This is really, really good. Narrative-telling, composition, grading, lens, filtering, frame rate all spot on.

The best tours deffo have bike fit James in and the 🐶
Not long discovered this channel and I’m loving it!
It’s amazing watching these back to back and seeing the difference between who Francis rides with. Chris is my fav. 😂
I enjoy how you all stay positive even under miserable conditions.
Brilliant watch & well done! Inspirational.
I drove through and spent the night in Death Valley. This was an epic trip. On bikes WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If they don't explain this in the next wild ones podcast, we'll riot
Classic series. The bullying of Lawrence was relentless, the poor pooch.
If you think that’s relentless you should see them off camera ;)
Loved watching these episodes
What a wicked movie guys! Watched all 3.5 hours while being sick and not able to ride my bike. Makes me wanna travel on my bike soooooooo hard.
I have watched a few of these now with Lawrence, and I agree that he doesn't seem to smile much.

Just 12 minutes in but damn that’s what I love about cycling abroad. Connecting to people, places and pizza.

Love that you’ve made a move from that trip brilliant
Took a few days to finish watching! Epic journey! 💪😀 same crew for future trips please! 🙏 😂
Bravo for this. Ideal for long trainer rides.
LEGENDARY!!!!
had to watch all of it last night, sleep is overrated 🤣
You guys saved a good 30-40 minutes taking the freeway vs going through the military base.
This series was awesome

Is this a remake of the video a few years back?
I've ridden these roads many, many times. Always north to south. Always
Amtrak to Seattle. Ride back to LA.

Love all of the Fallout references. Them Radroaches are scary man!
So good... Cade needs to go impossible with vc and bishop.
Great review.
Maybe I missed it, but with all the punctures you guys get, why don't you use tubeless tires?
Nooo! not the flag...
Man what a video!
This video.must be 2010. Francis is so young and riding with tubes😉
Ohhh hell yeah
Wish I was as cool as James, fucking legend.
Does tubeless not work in those temps? Did I miss that part?
What the hell is the name of the song at 36:47?! The internet is failing me 😭
Wish they showed more riding

Yo, what camera strap is Lawrence using to ride with please.
I love VC
Come ride the width of Canada. From Newfoundland to Vancouver Island.
The baker grade is not easy on a car in that heat, I can’t imagine riding it on a bike.
Anybody knows the song at 16:53? My Shazam only gives me strange incorrect recommendations. Appreciate your help

What helmet was James sporting?
Kask Mojito
Kask Mojito X Peak Helmet?
Anyone know where can find a Strava file for this - or route map ?
Hey anyone know what song at 1:04:10? Thanks!
Never wanted to do 'MeriKa. Don't like road riding. Til now....
Shoulda gone tubeless 😂

Black helmets and black jerseys in the hottest place in the USA at the hottest time of the year?
before white was cool
Its soooo hot! In my black kit
