- In the Summer of 1990, Status Quo played a run of festivals across Europe leading up to their performance at the Silver Clef Award Winners Concert at Knebworth Park.
16th - Göttingen Sportpark, Germany
17th - Weißensee Park, Berlin
22nd - Nurmijärvi Festival, Finland
23rd - Saarijärvi Festival, Finland
Their set was edited down and broadcast on ELF 99 TV station, with tracks such as;-
Caroline, Roll Over Lay Down and Little Lady being omitted.

Makes you wonder if they’d had a bit of a break before this. Francis buggered up a line in Dirty Water and Rick buggered up a line in the chorus of whatever you want, songs they’d both done a million times.
Great video though. Rhino was great. Never realised wild side had such a good bassline. Francis: “I like this one” Rhino, move over, I play this one. Jeff’s great too. I feel like he and John are the two who really knew how to drive Quo.

@@UnofficialStatusQuo- Makes a lot of sense. Rick actually looked embarrassed at that one! I nearly wrote the words “festival before a tour?” As a guess. Wanderer has some dodgy harmony too. Stuff they usually nail live (big fan, seen them a lot). But I can see them having fun which makes up for a lot! And their playing is spot on.
Still phenomenal stuff and thank you for posting. Energy was top notch. I’m still watching it!
