Chorus:
Architects may come and
Architects may go and
Never change your point of view
When I run dry
I stop awhile and think of you
Architects may come and
Architects may go and
Never change your point of view

This is a song about Garfunkel as he was an Architect major at college. 'All of the nights we'd harmonize till dawn...' He didn't tell him till years later.
Very controlled voice by Artie, smoothly shifting to falsetto, i just love it, really really sweet .
Classic stuff man. I don't care about my age, Music takes me where i choose to go
Right fuckin on Mike
For me one of the best harmonic songs ever along with The only livin boy in New York and America. In the early 80's, my french friend an english teacher in Paris, would teach her secondary school pupils english using the lyrics of Simon's songs. At night young people met their friends on the steps of the sacre coeur in Paris and they'd sing Simon's songs.
A very sweet song, can't believe Art only realize the song is talking about his friendship with Paul after so many years. Good show.
Bossa Nova in a Jobim-like style. Wonderful!
This really sounds like Bossa Nova, I love it!
I love these guys oh, I love them when I was 12 and all the way up till now.. (!!) They are the best and will forever be the best duo ever.
100 percent true listng to the 14 teen and lising to this dueo , Steve Harley, Peter Frampton , Fleetwood Mac :ie music i would never have had the pleasure of hearing and if i had did what i was told to do i would have didnt go out with the bad boys across the road.🤣🤣. His brother and his pals there story's when i'd finished drinking what a blast loved staying there music out of this world .😉
Interesting song! I saw this guy, Frank on “ What’s my line” and I remembered this song. Wow!
Brilliantly written and more brilliant if you take the fact that Paul knew nothing about Frank Lloyd Wright.
Love it
The story before hand really elevates the song. Art sings about the beauty and poetry of his architecture, because he studied it so intimately, while Paul sings basicly "Eh, I can take him or leave him. No difference to me." I never got that nuance until I heard the audience laugh.
Yes, brilliantly written! Does anyone want know what Artie studied in his brief collegegent stint?
I Love This Song! The music is catchy and the lyrics are interesting!💗
Great tribute ballad. very very Paul Simon.
Gotta love the intelligent lyrics. It is rare that you hear allusion in a song.
The dynamic duo...I love Paul and Artie's subject matter choices in their songs.
Magical vibe :')
One of my favorites..so poignant
So good to hear their music again!!!!!
True legends, never get tired of listening to them. ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
What a beautiful song
S & G….their music is puregenius
I love this music
Wow so good bings back memories😁
From Wikipedia ~
'Garfunkel did not realize that Simon had intended the song to refer to their partnership until many years after the album had been released.
In an interview he remarked that Simon 'never let me in on that' secret.
He added that 'I find it a secretive and unpleasant thing to do to you.'
However he has come to terms with the song."
Really impressive for a live performance. ❤️🌍 Stay healthy and happy friends.
Art had no idea that Paul really wrote this song about him! The "so long" was apparently, Paul's way of saying... Art so long, for real! Sneeky and sad, but thankfully, both of them did well for themselves and we all do things that could have; and should have been done differently. Regardless, I love them both equally.
If you read a biography Paul Simon had no other choice Garfunkel was pursuing other things and letting Simon down badly.
@@janettedewar6617 Yes that's Paul's version.
I Love This Song! The music is catchy and the lyrics are interesting!💗
Mike, as close to Heaven as I can get in this dimension.
J'adore cette chanson m'a préféré 💗💛💗

Wow
Simon et Garfunkel❤❤ 😇🌈🌈🌈
Bossa nova!
Fiorella bett.bravi...
Me too 😅😮
I thought this song was about Garfunkel
It is! The lyrics really have much more to do with Art than Frank
It is, but Paul lied a bit since they were still together when he wrote it...
ボサノバ❤️うま〰️い。
So long, Artie.
Parece bossa nova.
J’étais apnée né,

i don't understand what Paul said "none the less ......", before singing. why did the audience laugh?
plz, anybody let me understand that.
Paul says “nonetheless, I didn’t let that deter me from writing a song about Frank Lloyd Wright.” The crowd laughs because Paul is saying that he wrote a song about someone he knew nothing about. Hope that helps
